  • Is a base flagship still a flagship? The Google Pixel 7, the Samsung Galaxy S23, and the iPhone 14 are going to answer this question by the end of this video. There is one big problem that has been bugging me about the iPhone 14 though, and we will look at this in detail - along with going over multiple other categories in the battle of the big 3. Leave a comment on which phone is your favorite!

    Turn off the Scene optimizer in the Galaxy S23 and you get much more natural looking photos with less sharpening and saturation. Also, shooting at its 50MP mode will easily destroy the other two phones in this comparison.

    Great comparison! I think it depends on who is doing the test and where. I saw some tests the S23 was slightly worse than the Pixel or the iPhone. But I saw some daily vlog videos from the iPhone 14 Pro I was disappointed with the quality. Overall it depends on personal preference. I like Samsung colors. Hopefully, Samsung fixes a "light filter" which is on the photos or videos. It looks warmer. The colors look a bit washed out. The rendering of colors on the S23 screen is also a bit brighter than last year.

    Pixel has the best and sharpest main camera, iphone is a close 2nd, samsung (~20% smaller sensor) is usually worse than both. However they all have their strengths and weaknesses. Zoom and wide is better on Samsung, iphone has a yellow tint, samsung has a blue tint, pixel is great overall, but often requires adjustments to make photo look better than iphone. I was surprised by the absence of lens flare in iphone which was probably done in software, it gives an impression that is sharper than Pixel (it's not) . Overall they are all great, the sensor size (not pixels) increased by almost double in all 3 phones in comparison to 2020-2021 phones which means any of this phones camera is better by a big leap than any other 1-2 years old phones

Never been a n iPhone user but still i think it is what it is. Liked Google's overall photos while Samsung for more ready to upload social media pictures - more pop up colours and punchy looking. They can be bought according to different purposes

      There's no 50 MP, it's not a real resolution, just interpolated.

    • @KazeHorse
      @KazeHorse ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pixels_per_inch incorrect it’s actually 50mp stepped down to 12.5 to let in more light when it’s needed. The 50mp mode retains the detail of the 50 sensor without the step down via JN1. The downside is the extra light needed to use the 50mp to it’s full advantage but in his test shots it would appear that it may have been the better option.

    • @KazeHorse
      @KazeHorse ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nilsonsls just needs more light due to the smaller pixels absorbing less light. I think it would’ve worked better in his test photos for the main camera unless he is inside or in a poorly lit environment.

    • @pixels_per_inch
