Amy, you're definetely the person I want to be like. As soon as I saw the title, I went "Oh my god, finally she's gonna give me all her secrets!" I agree with everything you said. I even deleted my social media because it killed my precious time to actually build real skills and to talk in real life and be interesting...I have no friends in school and I see it in a positive light as it is giving me room for development without the rush and the fear of being judged (as I'm a nobody in school lol and people don't really know me). However, I've tried contributing my ideas and people have already started noticing which makes me super happy and can't wait for more development and even make my parents proud! And most importantly, me proud with my grades, interesting life and attractiveness :) Also loved how boring people are generally bored and interesting people are generally interested. I know I'm amazing and interesting, just need to bring that side of me out and be what makes me truly happy
Ahh thanks so much for taking the time to watch my video and to share your thoughts!! I'm happy that you agree and are already doing some of the steps and being confident in yourself and your values :) Rooting for you!! 💗💗
1. Self
-contribute to conversation
-give holistic advice / use simple principles to engage with multiple situations
-value peoples’ internal self(leads to speaking on shallow things less)
-read more books, watch documentaries
-give your original thoughts, opinions and feedbacks( more EQ, vulnerability, courage)
2. To be interesting
- stop mad scrolling
- pick interests and hobbies and commit time to them
-aspire to some goals with a method of reflection
-build transferable skills( so people can seek your help)
-bottom line: to be interesting convert your time wisely
3. Attractiveness
- good diet, fitness, sleep
- if you are disciplined people find that attractive
- show grace and compassion in the way you carry yourself and others will treat you similarly
- don’t dress to impress but to express yourself
-have boundaries, make personal choices with conviction, replace fomo with jomo
- do inner work to heal self worth and work through past trauma
-do things you are afraid of(build confidence)
4. Beliefs
-already believe you deserve who u are working towards being
- have patience and gratitude for all that you have and all that u will have ❤
That's an amazing resume! :))
Thank you!! I'm surprised this hasn't gotten 100 likes yet
Tip 2 is so real! I love watching random animal documentaries or theories on black holes for the fun of it, sure, but the best part about that pastime is trying to question it. I always force myself to think deeply about the topic to see if I can find answers to my own questions, and it definitely makes me feel like a better person to have a conversation with. As always, thanks for the video Amy you are truly our Uncle Iroh!!
Aww thank you! Sweetest compliment saying I’m Uncle Iroh ❤ I do love my tea 🍵
Being a 13 year old going into 8th grade, this is really helpful for me. So thank you!
Happy to help! Thank you for commenting so I can keep putting much time and effort into videos to help you!
I'm also turning 13 this year and I am in 8th grade ❤🎉
I am 13 too but in 9th grade...
She is the best guide!!!!!
@@Ofc_not yeahhhh she isssss!!!!
Good luck! Eighth grade is a great time to improve yourself for high school life and for your last year of middle school.
Amy seriously your videos helped me a lot i was a total addict to youtube and i tried to uninstall youtube but didnt work you videos not only helped me but also i tried to think harder and then found a solution i am not telling this to amy but to everyone i dont know why i haven`t thought of this before- i just subscribed to people like you and then offed the watch history and amy you are definetly the person i want to be ILY plese continue making videos like this bye😄
The twist tip is actually so effective.. For example.. Sometimes if I go to some gathering or anywhere and feel that I just don't fit in or am not able to carry my clothes or myself properly... I go straight to the washroom😂 ... And tell myself in solace that
I am great... I'm looking great... And I'm here to spend good time with these people... Have joy!
And it works every singlee timee!
The best line which you can take away from this video and which carries it's whole essence is:
How can you expect people to value you, if you can't even value yourself
Speaks to me deeply...thanks Amy...you're literally my go-to person for any advice❤
I’m normally insecure about my clothing because I feel like it has no style or it’s so different from others and I kind of wear almost the same style everyday in school because I don’t know any other styles. Styling clothing is so difficult for me and eventually made me insecure about it because I don’t know what other people will think. Especially when I just catch my classmates randomly staring at me. It gets me thinking if they think I am ugly. Now I am starting to grow from it and find my own style and explore some more and this video just gave me a boost of confidence in trying new things. Thank You! 😁
She needs to be famous our gen needs her
I've also given up on trying to be perfect, just carve out a life that makes me happy. I felt that chasing an ideal self left me exhausted and empty. It was fuelled by low self-esteem, and not just physical. I don't need to be an "ideal self" or "that girl" anymore.
Particularly since I'm depressed and chronically ill and that's forced me to make peace with imperfection. I mostly fighting to improve my health and happiness, as well as focus on the skills I enjoy.
I'm now going to live the life that makes me happy, not on what society/social media/low-self-esteem tells me I should be. Not for anyone else's opinions but myself, either. Self-improvement isn't inherently bad, but we should be mindful of why we feel the need to change things about ourselves.
Hiiiiii Amy. Thank you so much, i always wished I had an elder sister (i am an elder sister myself) and you are like that but so much cooler. I've watched so many videos and think that i really admire you. I am now a senior student and do feel the weight of all my assignments and work and am learning how to efficiently manage time and by taking your advice i stopped watching social media altogether, except your videos occasionally. Thank you so much and love you.
Amy you have taught me so much through your videos including this one too. I'm very excited to see the contents of your newsletter😊.
Yay looking forward to hearing what you think! Thanks for commenting and engaging - it really helps me to be able to continue making videos!
Thank you Amy. I really struggled my sophomore year due to arrogance and putting too much on my plate. Now that I’m free I can really take in your advice and improve for my junior year.
I love everything about this channel, the way you keep everything realistic and your videos are simple and clear, I'm lucky to find you in this period of my life, thank you
Thank you Amy u motivated me. I personally lack confidence and I'm a people pleaser but thank to u i have improved. I learned alot from u. Thanks again and i love you😊😊
i realy don't know how to thank you , your channel makes me want to be a good person , you helped me to change my prespective in life , i am really upset that i didn't discover your channel earlier❤
This video is so well-timed! Our academic year just ended and I wanna spend this summer improving and doing the things I've always wanted to do years ago. Love the advice Amy!
Amy you literally save me. I can't explain how great your timing is😭❤️. I'm joining college next month and these tips are absolute saviour for me. Love love love love from me❤️
Ahh you've got this!! Thanks for watching my videos and much love 💕
This channel is such a gem and I’m so glad I found it since you’re really helping me and others change and develop with such quality content. I’m a less confident kinda socially inept person who doesn’t see the brightest future for themselves so I really try to take your advice to heart. Thank you! :D⭐️
I’m a people pleaser AND the older sister and this is young to help me a lot . Thanks for your actually really helpful videos :)
having hobbies makes you interesting is a true statement, because I love writing and drawing, and I have other extra knowledge of parallel worlds information paradox and other stuff of universe... so when people see my work or I talk about it they tell me You are so interesting, and I never thought it that way... for me, it was just me talking about things I love and now when u point it out.. I can see why
你好Amy,
altough I am definitely not the age group you are addressing (27 years old) , I kinda stumbled on this channel.
Interestingly, your videos have shown me that I am already quite on a good track, but can improve some little things.
Learning Mandarin is definitely a pursuit that keeps boredom very far away from me during the current time of middle-term mental illness. Greetings from Germany.
Ok let me share my experience. When I started going through puberty I was seriously focused on glowing up but my glow up back them was to get popular and prettier. So I had a mental breakdown Everytime I saw another pimple on my face and ended up using alot of wierd products. It took alot of self reflection and focusing on the fact that I am not my look that got me out of that. I focused on challenging myself to learn new skills and more. My face is clear now but even when I see a new pimple I'm like "oh hello little friend".
What Wamy is saying is very accurate not one will truly value beauty with no brains. Many scientist and famous individuals are still remembered till date for their wisdom. I doubt Shakespeare was the most handsome in his class right
i love how at the end you exposed the other youtubers and you being so honest , really thank you so much
This academic year has been great. I kinda messed my life up and was doing badly in most regards. I'll just give the clickbait description :) last August I was working as a garbage man and a year before that I was unemployed and mentally ill. I saved the money I earned and with that paid for some private education. For the first time in my life I studied for a test, a university entrance exam. I outperformed my peers. Of 2000 applicants I scored 291, enough to be accepted. That without any prior academic education. Then I needed a high school diploma to actually be able to start at the uni in September. Because of my situation I was allowed to drop 6 of the 9 subjects and take exams in only 3 of high school subjects that were relevant to this study, still though. At a normal high school speed this would take 12 months. I did it in 4 and got some of the highest marks my tutor had ever seen. It's crazy what happens when you put your mind to it. Now I need to work on getting a social life ☠️
I don't comment very often but just wanted to say: you're amazing, kuddos, keep going and congratulations, best of luck for your future !!
YAY QUEEN POSTED and this is really motivating because since the summer break started i am kind of falling off track and searching to set somw summer goals and set up a routine so i can get the best of these free days, thanks for your inspiring content Amy
I really enjoyed this video! Also, I really love the fact, that your pieces of advice were holistic and applicable to everyone, instead of "drink 8 glasses of water, put make-up on, know this and that" etc. ♥
Omg never expected a video so fast Yayay ❤❤
i have been a procrastinating a lot in this year till may. But after i found you, trust me you lit the small fire in me & idk if you'll be reading this comment or not but Amy, we srsly love you and we would love to have you by our side always like a big sis. Lots Of Love Amy💞Hope You Reach 1 million someday soon🤗
@@michaelloves2learn Thank You So much!💗 I wish you the best too☺
I love the way you explained about glow up in a very different way. Well I also faced insecurity during my school time and I want to discuss how I got rid of that
1. Ignoring whatever they are talking about you
2. Being busy in own business ( it helped me a lot because it made me feel busy and I don't get time to listen gossips )
3. Always being joyful and friendly to everybody
4. Developing confidence and a better communication skill
These things helped me a lot and yeah I kind of had that glow up after class 7.
I hope these things will help other people too😉
Thanks, Amy. I think your public is mostely feminine but as a man, i do value what you have to say and find your advices pretty usefull and aplicable as well, regardless of gender. Im glad i found you on the right time.
Like your are one of the best person and youtuber I have ever seen...❤❤💜💜💜
OMG! Totally going to start rewriting my life this summer , thanks for the adviceee!
Good luck!!
good luck!!!!!
Your soooo pretty!! Love Tip 4 BTW ❤❤
Thanks for sharing, Amy I am your Teachings fan! May I suggest that you Focus on being a good Teacher and making students "successful" rather than getting major "Side Track" by being a "beauty queen"! Look at most teachers at any major Universities, very few want to look like a Pop Star, Celebrities nor "Beauty queen", please! 🙏
This video helped me so much thank you Amy I’m kind of jealous of you but you taught me to use that to my advantage. Thank you!
Wake up!!!
Amy posted!!!

amy is now my fav youtuber ❤️ her advices aren’t flowery words, but based from her reality. we see it come to life and so we can trust that it is possible for us to make the same changes 😌 i used to be a straight A student, but after graduating and working for a year, working in a toxic environment triggered me to cope unhealthily. this is such a wonderful video to watch in order to regain the old me 🥹
Amy, what you said is well applicable to people in 40s as well. Excellent video and content.
You're the best Amy ❤

Intelligently presented practical self-improvement video. Well done Ms. Wang, I'll be adding it to my Good Energy Life site for others to enjoy as well. Take care, -Lance
in 8th grade, i thought i had very rough schedule. I used to go to school at 7 am, come home at 2:30 pm, get ready in 15 min and for classes. I used come home at 7-8 pm, exhausted, with no energy. When i take my text book for reading, i simply used to lay in bed, and without knowing i used to fall asleep. I realized my mistake here and with ur inspiring vdos, my mindset changed so much. Now i am in 9th grade, and and everyday i wake up at 5am, do my workout and spare 1 hour from 6-7 for my home work. I come home and classes and after classes, i study at least 2 hours from 8-10. Although this timetable seem a little hectic, i believe i can do it, and hoping for a glow up soon. thank u for such wholesome and helpful tips
Self development and studying mixed is incredibleeeeeeee

I am one of those people who never comments on on any social platforms but I really wanted to share my appreciation to your videos it really helped me grow a lot Amy! You are always giving a positive environment and mindset on this platform. A big heart from India ❤️.
Btw can you make video on pros and cons of students stuDYING! In abroad because I really want to study in abroad but I am a little confused with my decision about leaving my country as I heard it is really hard to study in abroad alone. And which country is best for students to study abroad alone? Lots of 💗 love!
To anyone who sees this I need some help. For me, I'm a huge people pleaser not because I wanna be liked by everyone because that's honestly impossible but because I'm afraid of everyone and everything but family. Let me explain a bit😅
So I'm a person that loves watching true crime stories, police body cam footage, and even police interrogations because I like to know what type of people are out there. That's the issue though, I've seen so many people that I wouldn't suspect to be harmful be harmful which has caused me to be afraid of what people could do to me especially if I don't know them, causing me to suck up to everyone and become a people pleaser. I'm tired of living in fear of others and not living the way I want to just because of this. What should I do to get out of this mindset?
(Hopefully I made sense. In short, I'm afraid of everyone so I'm TOO nice to everyone)
OMGAH NEW VID 😭✨

Hey Amy love you so much. I have a big exam 3 weeks later, you hype me up. Kiss kiss kisses.
Hi Amy!! I’m a new subscriber to your channel!! Your videos look so cool and it looks like it can be very efficient. Thank you for helping us to be better and thank you for doing videos for us!! I’ll make sure to follow your tips because I’m going to be a freshman in high school… do you have any specific recommendations for transitioning to high school? 😅 I’m so glad I subscribed to your channel!!!! And thank you for posting a new video 🫶🫶🫶
Your videos are so good, especially for high schoolers, and for people who want to get better. Thanks for making these videos. What extra curriculars would you recommend? I am interested in math and would. like to do some math competitions next year like the AMC 10 and maybe qualify for the AIME. Also, would you recommend playing Chess?
I really needed this video, thank u Amy❤
Hiya! Coincidentaly, My actual name is Joe.
Thanks for making this video. I am so happy that 10th grade ( a year ago), i decided to stop dressing up like all my friends in their socks and crocs just cus I wanted to fit in.
I decided to get serious into studying and I instantly became more interesting as I got interested in a lot of stuff (programming, music production, metal, guitar ....). Life is only boring if you want to be bored. Just try giving a look around the corner and you'd be surprised.
hey Amy can you pls make a video on how to deal with high school or how to survive that
Eid Mubarak Everybody 🥰🌙🌙🌟🌟⭐⭐
New video!!!! Luv you
I am just a girl, I see a video from Amy, I click🎀
Amy,Amy,Amy I admire you so much ❤
Hey Amy...!! Ur advices are rly helpful in everyway. Can you pls share tips or instead give some advice about how to be consistent/ increase the no. of hours for study
Yay thank you! A consistency video is on my list! Keep an eye out :)
9:42 I often feel like the clothes wear me and it's a super special and spectacular occasion when i just wear the clothes. I don't pick my clothes often beacause leggings and a t- shirt with a quote or visual i find plain and empty is normal. Overdressing feels inhuman. I really like unpopular styles that i never actually see in person. I have some beige things but it still isn't me. I like it but. It just doesn't feel like the mix of darkness and colorfull layers that look "freakish" and "too much". What i think is hypocritical is the fact that my parents prefer it when i wear basic clothes but also prefer when my brother is elegant. Oh and i usually can't wear some things beacause my parents say it too freakish. I want to wear more outfits in my style but it isn't easy. I'm not scared of society seeing me as weird but i am not allowed. It's not showing or offensive so idk why i can't.
Oh amy i live for ur tips.
you are my inspiration🥰🥰
5:32 ONE PIECE STRONG WORLD ONE PIEEEECEEE
thank you for your time
Wow, I appreciate the heart pin ^-^)/*.'`~
why do u want to be attractive? seems like a dumb question but i never really cared that much about other peoples' compliments, but i also recognize its probably a good thing to work on my looks so im trying to understand other peoples motivations
❤ passing my exams 🙏🏽
Hey Amy, Can u make a video on how to find your actual drive. You told about the "why" thingy but that did not work out for me. I can not find out my drive plzzzzzzz make a video on it.❤❤❤❤
Hey so i wanna know what you do when you’re sad and tips to stop being sad or stressed cause im a really sensitive person and when i earned that productive feeling and im on my way to study i see a really sad thing and I instantly start crying and become demotivated so can you make a video about that if you want?
