    Installed on my M35 Stagea and really sorted the back end out. Much more stable and predictable and enhanced the steering response greatly.

    I love Z1 Motorsports!! Ive installed a lot of the little upgrades you make including these inserts. For anyone that might think "oh they cant make that much of a difference to make it worth the time doing it" are wrong and you'll be shocked how tight the car feels after its done. With everyrhing ive put on mine most peiple think i have serious engine mods done and i don't. Thats how much more connected to the car you feel. Very responsive and just connected to the road. Totally worth it.👍

    Awesome idea. I was dreading having to put urethane bushings in, will definitely pick these up.

      won't all these things wear out the tires and suspension faster? a lot of OEM parts are designed to have a lil play in them. stiffer everything has a price.

    It really is crazy just how much the driveline moves around on these cars. I picked up the z1 diff brace on a whim and it blew my mind how much of a difference it made. My G37 doesn't even feel like the same car. Not even 24 hours after the brace install, I placed an order for the collars.
    This is one of those mods that makes me regret all the years I drove around without it and how much more I could have been enjoying my car. These should be the very first mods anyone does on these cars.

    saw some comments about them being pretty tough to press in… I left them in the freezer for a few hours and then took them out, threw a little lube on em and they slid in SUPER easy I would highly recommend doing this way

    I got the z1 bushing, collars and brace installed on my 15 Q60s and now its making a whine noise and it gets louder the faster I go also I hear a clunck noise everytime I give it gas but that clunck is only one time after ever push on the gas its a really low clunck. Idk if thats normal but I need some feedback should I even be driving the car. It only had 28k miles

      @@Z1Motorsports23 I will probably be giving you guys a call soon. I took it back to the shop but they are telling me the whine noise could be because the rear is stiff now. So theres could be noise I might hear now that I couldn’t hear before and the clunck noise they think it could be the brace or collars that are hitting something when the subframe flexes after acceleration.

    My mechanic said that it was difficult to get it in which worries me and makes me think that he did it wrong I am hearing a little bit of clunk in traffic where I am on and off throttle. Seen the way they slide in on your video really makes me think he did it wrong. Also he charged me another hour of Labor which pissed me off. I got the bushings and the subframe mounts car feels much more together though. I thought my original differential bushing was bad but after he installed them he told me the originals were fine. And the dreaded streak on the diff cover was from a previous replacement of a subframe.

      Sounds to me like your Subframe bushings already had some excessive wear. One of the only things that makes these hard to install in my experience is when the existing bushing is old, dry rotted, or expanded.

    After install I got a creaking sound and clunking sound. I hear the sounds mostly in parking lots and slow driving or changing front to back directions and over bumps.. I had the work looked at thoroughly from a reputable shop and they can’t find an issue. Only to try and remove the parts that were installed. I’m happy with the light performance upgrade - improved on off gas response but the sounds make my mint condition Z sound like a 1974 clunk mobile.. sure just turn the music up and drive but I’m not happy with this as a solid product, obviously I am not the only one with these minor issues

    How the hell are yours just falling in place, I tried turning mine in every direction and they don’t “fall into place”, I can see how some shops are charging a lot to put these in, they go in horrible

    • @klinebarfield5931
      @klinebarfield5931 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We experienced something similar, however we are using a brand new subframe with brand new bushing and found that spraying them with window cleaner allowed them to slip in A LOT easier. We were thinking that the brand new bushings might not allow for as much movement for them to “slip in”. I think keeping the subframe “square” to the studs is important because it might create more of a load on one side of the bushing than other. (I know this is an old comment but figured it might help someone else).

    I've had my 350z for 15 years and have really started to feel the rear end jiggle. Besides replacing the struts, replaced lower control arms due to bad bushing, and getting alignments I have not done anything else to my suspension. This product is on my list of to dos, along with the solid differential bushing. I figure I should get them done at the same time to hopefully save on labor. Is there anything else I should be having them do while they're at it?

    you really need an animated gif of the penguin shimmy! HAHAHA!!! Question, how much of a difference will these make for the Nismo's?

    • @TheOceanX
      @TheOceanX 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They will make the same amount of difference. Please stop acting as if Nismo variants are totally different cars lmao. Yes, they have extra seam welding and a couple different chassis stiffeners. But things like bushings & subframes are the same still. They will increase handling and stiffness in the same amounts.

      @@shuura I apologize for replying three years late; I don't usually look at dates on comments. Additionally; don't think I was mean or rude; I politely asked a question and then explained that the differences would be similar; which is based on real world fact considering I owned a Nismo 350Z prior to my current Solar Orange 350Z & installed these collars along with the urethane diff bushings on both.
