Most of you will know by now that I like targeting groupers on shore because of their hard hitting action. On a recent shore luring trip near Marina Barrage, something happened that I still can't believe myself. Together with Kelvin, we hit a massive massive frenzy of groupers near the shore. It was non-stop action and I hit fish after fish after fish! On my trusty deep and shallow divers, we hit so many fishes that my arms are still aching!

they dont always release there actually. different species have diff tide to whack them at. for now its low tide for these fishes here.

@@fhellafharentha4716 I get them at tackle2000. Daiwa rubber shoes. But walking on the algae is a big no no! Have to really practice on walking on the breaker! Or you can try rock shoes at fishing buddy!

Do you practice catch and release? And take only what you need? I’m not being a green eye but if you clear a whole colony of groupers will you even have some to catch in the near future ?
These are invasive species which are by right not in our eco system. Hybrids are bred for commercial. They are killing off the native fish species due to the amount they eat, the speed they grow and reproduce. So these are harmful and needed to by taken away. So do your due diligence and understand what you are trying to fight for. Peace.
I totally understand hybrids are invasive but I do believe malabar groupers and orange spotted aren’t?
@@geraldyong217 there are no Malabar groupers in the video. Only orange spotted and red banded. Which is only a few. Many captive fishes that are released may not live long because they lost their hunting ability due to being fed daily in the farm. It's like letting your domestic dogs be free in the wild. They can't adapt and they will eventually die off.

Went to st.johns on Friday but end up caught nothing.. so came back to shore and fish at MSP using crankbaits lure also no fish.. seems like I no luck hahaha

These are hybrid groupers which are invasive. I'm doing the eco system a favour. Do your due diligence and research on it.
So sad to see no sustainable fishing was practiced.
Many of them are invasive fishes. It will spoil the whole ecosystem.
@@tiotiotiofishing I agree but not all were, should have only taken the invasive species. Being an influencer this could be taken by viewers the wrong way and may end up like Ubin or Bedok jetty where people start going down with nets. Don’t get me wrong, I like your content, but just hope everyone could be more responsible when it comes to fishing sustainably.

On last Sunday! The release was quite long ago. Like maybe 2 months back.
The fish are so small, should let them go if you are a responsible angler. For now, shame on you.
