Nice catches bro! Ask your opinion, when you crank deep divers with spinning reel, the gear ratio 5.2:1 vs 6.2:1 is it a lot of difference? What is your preferred gear ratio for spinning reel when cranking deep divers?
I would say it does make a difference. If using those very deep ones the slower gear is better

Tio tio tio, so funny teochew, hi I am from hk but am also a teochew. I like fishing very much but l hv limited knowledge abt lure fishing. I used to play the Japanes rock fishing in hk but seems not suitable in SG. Now learning how to play lure fishing.
It's possible to do it in Singapore. Just that snagging rate is quite high 😂

hi,would be great if you could answer this question.is it okay if the jig weight is heavier than the rod recommended lure weight?i noticed in the description that you use a 40g jig.
yes, i usually load heavier than what the rod rated if i feel the rod can actually go beyond
