For the rig to catch the todak is just float, leader and hook right ? Care to share what size hook you used and lbs of the leader ? Thanks !
Size 5-6 small hooks will do. Float rig leader we use 25lb cause the todak mouth are kinda sharp.

Swim bait I have yet yo try. But best bait would be prawn, live tamban for cudas and pelagic. Then this spot in this video is bread and yah "banana" as an experimental attemp that works.

Yes from the todak.
Can share the reason for grilling the banana? Will uncooked banana also work?
You can try the not so ripe ones. Grilling the banana will make the surface of the banana dry. So when you hook the banana it wont fall off easily.

Swa dee kap, what number of your hook.
bro; just before you slit/slice the throat of it, just make sure you sever it's spinal cord(upper neck area) completely with a sharp & heavy mini knife/cleaver in 1 single strike motion. by doing so, the pain-signals shuts down completely & it will NOT suffer a long excruciating pain that follows from throat-slicing. then you can proceed to bleed the fish in however way you feel most fitted.
Hi man! Thank you so much for the inputs 🙏 I never really tried that method before. But usually we bleed the fish to keep them fresh and yah end it quicker than letting them suffocate.
