Hi. I considere myself a Resolve "advanced-beginner". I was able to follow along your tutorial. I enjoy your "to the point" style and the way you explain things in general. Now, If I was a "beginner" I would probably feel a bit "overwhelmed", because there was a lot of (useful ) info a bit "fast". Also, I feel that this approach, where you share an "actual edit" and "reverse engineering" is great. I hope the next episodes will teach us each and every aspect of a "beginners level edit" in a deeper way. I do appreciate your time. Gracias

With the tutorial including the media, part complete and completed timelines in the download it's designed for people to go at their own pace - but I totally understand and appreciate the feedback. There are several videos that build up to this in Creative Shortcut - but I think this is a nice balance of being on the edge of doable for early beginners, whilst also getting people up to a proficient level in only half an hour + following time. Sorry, I got lost within the first two minitues. I don't know where to drop the drp file. I dropped it in the project area, but it doesn't appear. Maybe I'm in the Windows environment. Under Master/Project Folder/I have only the video files folder and Light Leak Pack Folder. I can't add the drp file there, it just shows nothing and gives me no error or warning.
No worries. If you have the .drp file, Try double clicking it with your DaVinci database open (where you can see all your projects). If you don’t, try the download again. Let me know how that goes. Happy to help but might not respond for 10 hours due to my time zone.
