I think that scene with hans on ground isn't him dead but knocked out, they knock out and capture Henry as well and take all thier things.
(* we've been told by the devs that you lose all your stuff as you get robbed at the beginning of the game)
Ptacek cant die in KCD2. He died in 1419.
Its the beginning when they get jumped and injured to justify henrys skilled being rolled back
They won't really be 'rolled back' per sé. Tobi actually said in a German podcast that his stats from the first game are somewhat meaningless as Henry sort of 'goes up a level'. In KCD1 he was fighting stray bandits and talf-timbered guards in tatty kit. Now he goes up against trained soldiers and knights around a City that had been besieged just a year before by Sigismund and is therefore heavily militarized. Basically his 'Sword 20' from KCD1 isn't much to write home about, as the people in Kuttenberg have much higher skills than that.

I don't know skills are lowered but not all the way down you just can't max skills in the first game and then have it go into KCD2. No save files only want warhorse picks to be transferred into KCD2.
They are going to be higher skilled knights or enemies a interview with Nights arcade confirms this little league to the big league.

7:23 The other way round: The Trosky map will be slightly smaller than KCD1 and Kuttenberg will be slightly bigger than KCD1. And yes, they will simulate every NPC in Kuttenberg. That's not Hans Capon dead on the ground. He's injured and by the look of the trailer he's injured and will end up in jail with Henry.

They mentioned that they have changed the combat system ever so slightly, for the better of course. Like as you saw in the trailer, Henry can now actually target the lower body instead of only the upper. Pretty sure there are also finisher-like moves which may be harder to pull off. They have also mentioned they are removing the whole master strike mechanic so you cant just level up until you can just one shot everyone.

@@WVRLORD It really wasn't. You could just spend a few hours levelling up and then just go through an entire group of cumans with one shot to the head each with a sword. KCD aims for a very grounded and realistic feeling, having a peasant bastard go through a group of trained soldiers doesn't seem all that realistic at all.
@@WVRLORD will still have master strike but used less maybe because we are going up against higher skilled knights
@@WVRLORD Nah it made combat boring and tedious. At late game all enemies would be masterstrike factories so it ended up just being a waiting game to see who could MS first, and win the fight.
Henry dies and you start playing the second act as Hans looking to revenge henrys death..

Impossible, the intro of KCD is narrated by Old Henry.
I have a theory about this story:
1. Henry is betrayed by the guy in 5:33 who kills his best friend :( They have the same armor, only in 5:33 he is without a helmet.
2.The priest who helps us is also killed. Compare the armor of the priest at 11:52 and the guy who is shot at the gate at night in the trailer. The helmet, armor and pockets match.
I HOPE I'M WRONG AND THE STORY WILL END WELL.
On the official website for KCD 2 it says that Hans and Henry get ambushed in the beginning and become imprisoned, so the most likely case is that Hans is incapacitated, but not killed.
As for the priest, he's Father Godwin from the first game, but I've seen rumors that the guy who gets shot dies early on, whereas Godwin is seen in later parts of the game, so it might be a bit of a fake-out.
I just want a happy cliché ending with Theresa. That’s all.

YOu little misinterpreted that map thing. Two maps - first little smaler than first game with Trosky castle and second one little bigger than first game with pretty hudge chunk will be Kuttenberk - not whole map. It will be big city still but not whole map. They actually had to cut parts of city, because they wanted to be fully opened and full of working things, not just empty backdrops just for sake of its size.
Yes that fallen guy is Hans Capon, no he is not dead until they would changed history by a hudge chunk. Hans Capon died on eve of Hussite wars in 1419, so he still have 16 years ahead of himself (not much by todays standards tho).

The armoured man who Henry is about to fight appears to be the same one on the battlements with Henry, Hans, and father Godwin. Unless this is a betrayal later in the game I don't think Hans dies there.
I don't think Hans die, I think that's how they get captured by Istvan.
Likely captured knock out both get locked up and maybe lose everything. Makes sense because are saves aren't transferring over so we got to lose everything. Then have to get free and then go wash at the pond best thing for Sir Capon No swimming.

Guy with white armor is Erik from the first game... Kind of adopted son of Istvan (the main baddie)... I don't think they would show Hans dead in the trailer, its likely at the start of the game and our company meets some trouble getting trough the woods towards Trosky...

Kuttenburg is so big and has its underground tunnel systems for us to explore also
It's already been confirmed, no they didn't spoil KCD 2, it's right at the start of the game.
It's even said in the trailer which you either didn't watch or conveniently forgot about so you could clickbait people like you usually do.
The game takes place a couple days after KCD1, that's Hans, he's not dead. They get captured by bandits at the start of the game. There's no spoiled ending whatsoever. Please try and do something more worthwhile than clickbaiting for clout.

And if you think they've killed off Hans and showed such a major story beat in a REVEAL TRAILER. It's baffling how you get invited to private showings etc. Also highlights that despite the amount of subs, most youtubers have the silly logic/mind of a 12yr old.
