When I see properties like this that were once occupied and enjoyed by high value people such as Marilyn and other notable movers and shakers of the mid 20th century I get a deep feeling of that special melancholia that the Turkish author Orhan Pamuk referred to as "huzun" which means having a pain, sadness or depression toward or for a place or historical structure's former glory that has fallen into disrepair or into ruin. Great work as usual Spa Guy!

The racket club was beautiful and big, too bad they didn't keep it up even if there was a fire they could have rebuilt. Interesting place for sure where the celebrities hung out. Answer me why so many treasured places don’t get attention! It’s such a shame they can’t keep them up better than they do! I think society just doesn’t care anymore they lost their sense of shame! Appreciate your guys taking us back to a better time and place! Grateful you can keep the past alive and kept up at least in our memories!👍👍😪

Hopefully some day it will be restored and be made in to a luxurious Hotel at least if not a Country Club.

Very enjoyable, thank you. I suspect she had been discovered long before she was hanging out with Hollywood A-listers at this very exclusive club however.
Debbie Reynolds died one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher died in 2016. Debbie Fisher was was married to Eddie Fisher. Eddie later married Elizabeth Taylor and then Connie Stevens. A lot of things from that pool. Someone must own that property, I wonder why it closed. Very interesting Spa Guy Great Video.

We went there last view but didn't get inside the fenced off area and we were put off by the no trespassing signs. My question is How did you get access, did someone open it up for you? We are going back next year and want to get in there.

Cheap landowners can not leave their property "abandoned". That brings down the real estate values of the normal landowners in the neighborhood. Tear it down and remove the debris and grade the vacant lot flat and fence if off.

Something is always wrong with your volume, it is so low that I have to either hear the video or just watch it and guess what you are saying.
How,he have so strong nice voice I never had a problem with volume.
Tom the volume is automatically adjust or normalized when I edit so it is correct for almost every player.. I occasionally get this but it is very rare so check your listening device to see if there is a EQ issue or something of that nature..
