Did anyone here like a suggestion on how thickly it should coat the model, like is it light or is it super thick is it heavy, I have a hard time eyeballing it
It can be, basically, you apply the medium on the model itself when the contrast has just been applied. This helps bring down the saturation. Having two brushes handy, one for the contrast, one for the medium, let's you work quickly.
I used Warp Lightning contrast on my miniature and ended with a very dark green, when trying to get that Salamander color. I now realize that my Chaos Black undercoat was a bad idea 😢
Is it normal the white (layer underneath) shines through the contrast paint i applied? Didnt i shake enough my contrast (akhelian green) or did i not apply enough contrast? I have some trouble using contrast :/
You should see white coming through on the raised areas, as that's what provides the contrast. Would have to see you model to provide proper advice. You can share models with us on our Twitter account.

I think its supposed to be similar to a wash
Great tutorial ❤ contrast paints are fun to use with great results
Yes they are! 🙂
I haven't gotten to any suggestions on using contrast medium to thin it down, and like if that's a good idea
