Yoda didn't crash-land on Dagobah. In Revenge of the Sith, there were filmed but never used scenes of his pod gently landing on Dagobah and he resigned to the fact he would die there.

Yoda sank his own escape pod. He used some of it to make his Cabin. He showed Luke that size isn't anything. But the use of he could raise the X wing out of the swamp.
Craziest thing is, Yoda knew he had to do all this. Just like Doctor Strange in Infinity War/End Game. “It was the only way” to make sure the Dark Side didn’t win in the long run.

Makes no sense that he'd live in his pod until it sank... he literally lifted Lukes Xwing out of the swamp so he could easily have done this to his pod.
He had nowhere left to go. The few Jedi that were left were in exile. The empire pretty much ruled the galaxy at that point unchecked. It wasn't that he couldn't. It's that he didn't have a reason to have a pod, he wasn't going anywhere.
Darth vader is Yoda’s fault. If he would have sensed it, or welcomed anakin as a jedi instead of fearing him, things would’ve been different

@Kallum there was a reason for that though, after the jedi had thought the sith were vanquished, as a symbolic message that the jedi had defeated the sith, the jedi temple was built on top of a darkside nexus, which is a point on the planet where the darkside is the most potent, which is what allowed sidious to hide from the council
Both the Dark Side Nexus, Palpatine's cloud ability and the Dark Side Ritual he did with Plagueis clouded the Jedis' minds

Yoda lives 900+ years. Knows more than anyone about the force. Understands that the FORCE gave birth to a boy. If you're obeying the will of the force why disobey this?
A few facts are known as far as I know
1) He didn't know how Anakin was convinced meaning that it was by a Sith experiment gone wrong.
2) He didn't know that the Force retaliated against the Sith by creating Anakin.
3) He DID know WHAT Anakin was & that alone wasn't enough to fear Anakin.
4) Common sense would tell you not to mess with the Force
Makes me question Yoda & his wisdom.
Meaning that the best movie to make is HOW Yoda came to be taught the Force, by whom, & what lead to his mental state/philosophy to simply dismiss this out of hand & not be able to adapt. If the answer is simply

There is a story there & it needs to be told. What trauma did Yoda face that made him fear Anakin. Did he see this before? Was his faith not so strong? Did he have the faith but his last clouded his judgement? There is more to it

My theory is his species age only if they consume living things. That’s why grogu is always hammering for eggs and small creatures. Yoda being on degaba was like living on an anti fountain of youth planet. Why he aged so quickly.
He contracted an illness on that swamp planet and that is more of the reason why he looks so frail. The illness later killed him.

@KallumIf Anakin became a Jedi Master and was granted access to the restricted knowledge of the jedi, he wouldn't have needed to turn to Palpatine out of fear.
@@brookemonshower2756well thats a bad reason to give him acces. But when he came to yoda about his nightmares yoda could have offered him a bit more perspective instead of telling him to just let go of his feelings. In the end Anakin caused his own downfall though.
@@swamidude2214 No, he should have been granted access when he became a member of the Jedi Council. He had been feared and mistrusted every second of his time with the Jedi. If they had treated him like anyone else, he wouldn't have turned.

Even then, he could have turned definitely since Padme’s relationship with Anakin did not start off from simply the council distrusting him, if anything Palpatine could have used it even further to his favour so he could make Anakin get the surprise on the order.
