Starkiller was wiser than I thought. He didn't underestimate Yoda, even though he seemed old and weak. He didn't just arrogantly burst through. He understood that even the littlest of things can make for a powerful foe, so he asked if Yoda was guarding this place. That cinematic, that music ( 3:21 ),those lines, say anything about the Lucas days, but Disney cant beat those days if we talk about soul and scene build.

Even though the Force Unleashed series wasn’t sought out as “amazing,” by Starwars Fans alike, you all can still agree it’s 100% better than the Skywalker Saga crap Disney tried to dish out, right?
No. It’s about equal. TFU was just made for 8-9 year olds and the only reason it’s liked more is because it was made while Lucas still owned Star Wars. If Disney made the exact same game now, people would hate it. The Disney stuff isn’t good but it’s not much worse than this.
It's always been my headcanon that after a point they just stopped caring because they realized he'll probably die of old age in a short amount of time.
I doubt anyone could actually defeat Yoda long enough to bring him in, outside of Palpatine himself; and the Emperor was obviously too busy with day-to-day matters running his empire.
@@mariomouse8265 Well that's the very reason why he stayed on Dagobah, the dark force is so strong on that particular planet, that even Sheev could not sense his presence.
The biggest thing I dislike about him is his power level. Even for generic op video game protagonists he's too strong. Fallen Order nailed that balance. The Jedi Knight games did quite well in that regard too.
I don't think his power is that much. He was strong in the force and was trained by Darth Vader all his life. He still is somewhat below Vader. It's just that TFU games had exaggerated some aspects of Force using compared to movies.
Imagine Yoda just clean cuts his head off shortly after he emerges from the cave. Sensing that Galen wasn't in a good state and was going to attack Yoda till death. No words, no pride, just doing whats necessary, and just goes back to sitting there afterwards unaffected by the days occurrences
I miss the days when Star Wars was in the hands of "old" Lucasfilms and George Lucas. Say what you want about Lucas, but he at least had tremendous respect for his creation and had a much greater understanding of the force and what it was all about. Much better than Disney, Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams, or that hack Rian ever could in their entire lives. At this point I simply will take whatever little bits of good come out. Like Rogue One and Jedi Fallen Order. But that's about it and we might never get anything good for Star Wars ever again. But I'm content and grateful with what we managed to get already. He would need to be cgi because a real actor couldn’t play him
0:16 Nervous leg spasm before meeting Yodu
Yoda was so straightforward with starkiller, none of that half speak he did with Luke.
They sensed each other's power so no need to beat around the bushes.
i dont think yoda wanted to talk to starkiller anyways
Its bcs Yoda was hesitant to train luke
Yoda was testing Luke's patience
Yoda knew Luke was a fuckup. He probably, and rightfully, didn't respect him.
What happened to well developed characters in star wars
Fucking gone man, watching this makes me upset because literally anything star wars does one thing right. Characters. The sequel trilogy couldn't even pull THAT off....fuck.
Respawn got exclusively rights.
Disney
This was before the Dark times... Before Disney... Story telling is a weapon from a more, Civilized age.
Disney: I have the high ground
Lucas: you underestimate my writing
Disney: don’t try it...
Lucas: ahhhhh!
Disney: (types at rapid speed) births Rey and rapes the skywalkers
Lucas and Mark Hamill: I HATE YOU!
this feels so much more like star wars then episode 8 and 9 combined...
Because this is a copy of Empire Strikes Back
Ok now you’re just biased against the sequels
star wars hour no
@@timdinnissen Force Unleashed is?
2 pills to SVEN
Although it's neither canon or legends, I would've loved to have seen Galen, Ahsoka and other post PT, pre OT Jedi contribute to Luke's training
Yes same 100%
Luke trained by light side Galen: there's a fucking scary thought. You thought Luke creating black holes and annihilating over half a yuuzhan vong fleet was bad...i could just IMAGINE the insane shit he could do if he was actually TRAINED for it.
He could sense yoda's power...that's why he asked if he'd let him pass. Unsure if he were guarding that place
I really should have built a guest hovel.
Starkiller really got his answer. The clones in the cave have the Kamino Logo on them. It is the details that tell most of the story
People complain about Starkiller being “OP” when Yoda’s mere presence had him quaking in his boots.
Been appreciating the Galen Marek story and all “Legends” content infinitely more, now that I know how bad Star Wars can get in the hands of greed.
“Your arrogance blinds you, Disney.”
Jealousy, a shadow of greed that is.
Round of applause for Sam Witwer he plays 3 of the most popular Star Wars characters ever. canon or not
Starkiller isn't that popular, I didn't know he even exists like 2 years ago
@@CT7056 except The Force Unleashed was the most hyped star wars game at the time.
@@darthmortem585 but like ask a random person on the street "who's starkiller?" And like 80% won't know him. They will know R2D2, Vader, Obi Wan, Leia, maybe Luke and C3P0
@John Dillinger how the heck
@@CT7056 how is Luke in "maybe" category lolol
This speaks a lot to Luke's flying ability, or lack thereof. Starkiller sets it down on dry land. Luke crashes uncontrollably into swamp water.
To be fair, Starkiller's ship almost certainly had very advanced auto-pilot, while an X-Wing is a compact fighter and probably doesn't have that kind of fancy tech.
Yoda intentionally interfered with Luke’s instruments and controls. Part of putting him off kilter to judge his character.
Marty Stu Starkiller.
@@czeslawpi Probably smoked more than he should have as well - given the fog and his behaviour when they met
@@MrMisanthrope84 Not wrong young one, Starkiller was ridiculously op
Starkiller was wiser than I thought.
He didn't underestimate Yoda, even though he seemed old and weak.
He didn't just arrogantly burst through. He understood that even the littlest of things can make for a powerful foe, so he asked if Yoda was guarding this place.
I doubt many force users had it in them to swallow their pride and consider every being to be possibly equal or even greater than them.
Good job Starkiller. You've earned my respect
That cinematic, that music ( 3:21 ),those lines, say anything about the Lucas days, but Disney cant beat those days if we talk about soul and scene build.
Well said.
Jedi: Fallen Order has greater gravitas and respect for the source material than this game. This scene? Fan service. They wanted the gary stu of all gary stus to bump into Yoda, just for recognition points.
@@moscanaveiayou clearly don’t know what’s a Gary stu is
Too bad this game was so short. I completed this game in less than a day 😭
I just love this game. Starkiller meeting Yoda are one of my favorite parts of the game.
I remember playing this game on the Wii. It’s the things you hate as a child you grow up to miss
Starkiller and Juno should have been Rey's parents.
Rey parents should have use protection
@Sir Knight Errant *Starkiller should be cannon and Rey shouldn't
That wouldn't work since this takes place way before she can be born. Luke and Leia are barely young adults.
@@jackychang9148 it would because rey would not exist for the sequel
@@kingnothing3683 I'm speaking for in-universe reasons. But I don't disagree with you.
Ahhh, his acting is so good!
Even though the Force Unleashed series wasn’t sought out as “amazing,” by Starwars Fans alike, you all can still agree it’s 100% better than the Skywalker Saga crap Disney tried to dish out, right?
Correct. Disney makes me sad
Yep
Yes.
Yep.
No. It’s about equal. TFU was just made for 8-9 year olds and the only reason it’s liked more is because it was made while Lucas still owned Star Wars. If Disney made the exact same game now, people would hate it. The Disney stuff isn’t good but it’s not much worse than this.
You know with all the interactions yoda had in his “exile” it’s a wonder the empire never found him 😭
It's always been my headcanon that after a point they just stopped caring because they realized he'll probably die of old age in a short amount of time.
@@MasterArchfiend if i was the emperor, id be afraid of that little green bugger lol
2? 2 interactions total
Starkiller didn't hesitate to question yoda... Very respectful.
The Character development of starkiller trough the game is incredible he deserves to be cannon again at least as an animated series
This scene is much more better than a whole disney sequel trilogy
One of my favorite moments/scenes in all of Star Wars media as a whole 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
The biggest thing I dislike about him is his power level. Even for generic op video game protagonists he's too strong. Fallen Order nailed that balance. The Jedi Knight games did quite well in that regard too.
Hack and slash games tend to be like that
It's a video game. I don't think it matters.
I don't think his power is that much. He was strong in the force and was trained by Darth Vader all his life. He still is somewhat below Vader. It's just that TFU games had exaggerated some aspects of Force using compared to movies.
@SCP 096 Starkiller isn't canon
@SCP 096 Bounty Hunter
Very powerfull scene here. Not so many people picked up what really happend here. Yoda showed here he has changed his mind about love and the jedi way.
This video cut scene has more story content and emotional impact than the whole of modern Disney Star Wars. It's like night and day.

I just want them to remake 2 and get peoples opinion on it then come out with 3
If it makes you feel any better we never will :)
I hope not!! They (Disney) has ruined Star Wars enough already... Licensing out to EA, of all things...
2 was made by another team. I'd rather have one good one than a franchise beat to the ground
@@NorseGraphic hey fallen order was awesome
Imagine Yoda just clean cuts his head off shortly after he emerges from the cave. Sensing that Galen wasn't in a good state and was going to attack Yoda till death. No words, no pride, just doing whats necessary, and just goes back to sitting there afterwards unaffected by the days occurrences
Sam Witwer has the decency of play the voice of maul and the appearance and voice of star killer.....also the game of Days Gone is amazingggggg
...and thanks. Starkiller flips a mini light to the "Rest Room" attendant. Oooo yeeaahhh Louis Armstrong!
THE STRONGEST
3:34 I love how Starkiller does a Yoda imitation.
Bro i didn't catch that 😂
Didn't starkiller realized who Yoda is?
Star Wars never dies.
Solo? I though Solo was a good movie. Just a bit of a shame that Woody Harrelson stole the whole thing. The Mandalorian too.
@@JackSilver1410 Solo was........ok? Not that great. Take out some of the weird things like that dumb social justice droid and maybe I'll give it a pass. As is, I cant stand the movie.
@@stormcutter59 The droid makes sense, it was just ruined by the hordes of screeching gobshites who can't let go of politics and should be summarily executed for it. After all, the treatment of droids in universe is pretty psychotic. Plus I rather liked the Scylla and Charybdis theme they gave to The Maw.
Two of the BEST Star Wars games EVER! I still go back and play them beginning to end. So damn good!
Whoever wrote this completely nailed Yoda.
Ngl the force unleashed in fallen orders graphics would make an epic game.
Sam as StarKiller is terrific! A movie of him would be awesome!
Little did he know he met the person who trained his mother and father (as youngings but still)
Starkiller and Yoda are both each my favorite Star Wars characters.
Sk: "what's in there?"
Yoda: "Games of squid perhaps?"
In the early phases of planning the first Star Wars film George Lucas considered naming his hero Luke Starkiller
Star killer should've been canon. He could've been a crowd favorite. He deserves his own series and a couple movie cameos and references
Starkiller always had the most badass outfits
yoda acted as if he gets visitors pretty often
After Jedi Knight, this is my latest favorite Star Wars Jedi game. Starkiller is CANON to me.
“Lean, muscular, but thin as a whip.” The Force Unleashed novel. 😌
Not to be negative but watching all Starkiller cinematic scenes gave me more satisfaction than watching the recent wrap up on the Skywalker Saga. I loved Jedi: Fallen Order and buzzing for the sequel but I’d also love to see Starkiller again on the next gen consoles. Wishful thinking!!
I remember this part of the game being an entire mission on Wii. You'd cross caverns with a mirror image of Starkiller, you'd see weird visions, fight Starkiller Hallucinations. But on other platforms this part of the game is just a small area with one hidden Holocron and a couple cutscenes. I wonder why the Wii version is different.
I think it got a little extra love on the wii because they were using that game to try and showcase the wiis motion controllers
I played it on the wii and the ps3 I believe and your right u get completely different experiences but both are good
This whole level is like 3 minutes. Such a bait and switch.
Bro. This is good. Star killer and Yoda are 2 of my most favorite characters.
We need a Starkiller show! These games were underrated.
that which you seek, inside, you will find. Yoda never meant Starkiller was going to find what he was looking inside of the cave but inside of himself.
It triggers me how Starkiller's weird clones were "solid" but Juno wasn't.
Mb Vier
In all fairness, he spent his entire life around the clones, whereas Juno was a memory for the longest time.
Hallucinations are anything but consistent
This level should've gone on much longer than it did.
I ducking loved both Force Unleashed games. They were so good
