Came out absolutely stunning! This is going to make a lot of people happy.
Wow ... got to respect anyone who can design cool stuff w/ a 3D printer! Nice!
Thank you very much, spent months developing it.
Put a proper link in the description please and give an option to buy a fully assembled Florry Emu also.
Next year if available I will buy one.
I am paying off all my debt first.
Oh Finally something to do with the box of empty external apple drive cases I have!
I was thing the same If making, the front cover why stop there? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@dh2032 oh. I actually have a box of empty drive cases..
I want one--NOW!!! That is SO cool, Javmaster! I like how you’ve made assembly so user friendly!
Truly fantastic, Javier. Excellent work!
Love the full custom faceplate! Solid work 🤘
11:40 could there be a better cable than one you have to bend to make work? 🤔
Looks very nice!! Wish I was that talented to be able to create things like this.
In future videos consider making it clear that such products are to be used for re-using otherwise discarded parts. 👍 Without this context people may assume the opposite: that you are tearing apart perfectly useable (and finite) vintage electronics merely for aesthetic enhancements to modern projects. I see that a lot of people are confused in the comments here.
Thanks for the suggestion, and yes, no drives were harmed doing the conversions, they were converted to clear drives!!
Great Job Javier! I need to order one now haha.
this is amazing !
AWESOME!
Excellent stuff Jav!
Is the IIc version video coming? 👋🙏
I thought the micro SD card connector had a card detect switch so it is not necessary to press a reset button to signal the card is loaded, or unloaded?
are you 3D printing the cases too so real Disk ]['s won't have to die?
either way, this is pretty sweet.
I am printing some bases, and using metal case from converted drives or bad drives with damaged cases, which I refurbish and repaint,
I want the full deal Javier all the options
Looks great! Does this work on the floppy emu with the old monochrome screen, or is that too ancient?
Unfortunately, no, it's for the new version C.
@@ARCJavMasterOof... Thanks for the reply - looks like I'll have to put a new one on a wishlist 😅
My heart goes out to all those Disk II drives that will die and be dismantled so that people can build these…
Why stop at an insert for a drive and not 3D print the whole drive enclosure?
at least I have an EMPTY disk][ enclosure for one of these (it had a pretty beat-up mechanism from ebay, so it's got a PC floppy hooked up to a greaseweazle currently) so no actual disk][s will be harmed in the making of one here!
That subscribe click sound is very annoying when using headphones 🥺
I'll try to remove the sound, thanks for the heads up!
I think you've swapped the "SELECT" and "RESET" icons by mistake.
У этого дисплея очень низкий ресурс при постоянном отображении.
Why destroy a perfectly good Disk Drive?
No good drives were destroyed, cases from conversions to clear cases were used. You can sleep well, my friend!
I'm pretty sure that people will break that. It is way too complex to assemble for a regular user. Too much be careful here and be careful there.
The extension cable for the screen you should find a better solution for. It is way too unreliable.
🎉🎉🎉❤ excellent 🦾👍👍 great job there, Javier congratulations
