In later seasons, Al Bundy founds the group "NO MAAM" or the National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Masterhood. Given the political landscape we're in today, we need Al and NO MAAM now more than ever!
There was a parallel show on the then fledgling WB network called "Unhappily Ever After". It had essentially the same characters as Married With Children, except the switched things around and then had a talking bunny and the husband and wife were divorced. It was funny, but not quite as popular as Married With Children. I watched it mainly because Nikki Cox, who played the hot daughter, was better eye candy than Christina Applegate IMHO, and she played her as the smart gold digging kind instead of Kelly's dumb blonde kind of chick.

Loved this reaction Ty. It was good to see you laugh slot. You will get a kick out of Kelly. Which is his daughter in the show. Played by Christina Applegate I think is her name. My dad watched this every day after I got home from school. It became our traditional evening thing to do together. I miss it so much.

Fun fact: Ed O'Neil was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers from Youngstown State in 1969. After training camp, Chuck Noll told him football was not his true calling in life, he should move on to what he really is interested in doing for his life's work, then cut him from the squad. Ed said that was the best advice anybody has ever given him and went into acting.

A lot of people in today's audiences can't seem to take themselves out of the situations presented to them. Their constantly saying things like, _"I can relate to this."_ or _"I can't relate to this."_ rather than acknowledge the context or quality. Everything has to come back to them in some way.
That might be why so many get worked up over so much. They take things that have nothing to do with personally.
