I can't handle this, a player who was given in best at such a young age got injured for a whole season just because he played a game which have no importance for the team ,as they are already qualified already
Spain's hopes are already in the trash because of a few dumbass decisions. Overplaying of young prospects and they think somehow this wil do them any favours...

Yeah, I have to agree with you, but I think football as a whole needs to slow down and try to mitigate risks for players in general. Gavi is obviously a great talent and deserves every minute he plays on the pitch, but the amount he and Pedri have been over-worked is insane given the circumstances for the clubs surrounding them, hopefully, we can go about limiting caps players can play for club/internationally, if we aren't willing to downsize the games players play in a calendar year.
I think you're absolutely right, the seasons are too congested, and it's beginning to show with these injuries. But, I just don't see the ruling powers changing anything because more games = more $$$
There was an ESPN article that said that some of the youngest superstars in world football have already played thousands of minutes, which can be a huge workload that prevents players from playing full seasons
Who said you need to run all the 90 minutes tho? You can be like some other TOP TIER PLAYERS just don't overdo it

Not just Gavi, Pedri. Fuente is also trying to sabotage Yamal as well. Before the call up, Yamal has signs of injury and tired and Fuente still call him up and let him start and play almost entire match.

The Gavi injury is absolutely beyond me as well because Spain already qualified for the Euros and what they should’ve done was rest him in their final qualifying game what did their manager do start him and guess what he ended up getting injured and he’s out for the season 8-9 months meaning that he’s also ruled out for the Euros next summer. It’s a long road to recovery for Gavi and this latest injury is another example on overplaying young players for club and country.
I saw a stat that since his breakthrough season he leads all Barcelona players in games minutes and starts and he’s 19 years old during this same period he was a regular starter for his country meaning that he was gonna play a lot of games for Spain. After this injury what if he never gets back to the level he was at before the injury and once again he was playing a lot and was always gonna be ran into the ground and something bad was gonna happen which it sucks to see any player get that sort of major injury and wish the guy the best in returning back to full fitness.

On Gavi, Barsa's won all that you mention, and the incredible bonus of having found somebody to replace Puyol's heart with dignity, not a small issue.

I actually think him tempering his passion and energy is good for gavi so that he avoid injuries. He will still be dynamic, but more controlled

I don't think that it is entirely his fault as he would have no idea whether Gavi would get injured on this occasion.
Every time a player is on the pitch an unexpected injury could happen at any time so it is partially his fault but not entirely
he literally rotated the entire squad from the match vs Cyprus except for le normand and gavi, he turned 19 years old this year, the coach shouldn’t need to be told that you can’t have a teenager play every single game for no apparent reason 🤦♀️

We’ve been talking about players playing too much football and whether clubs and national teams need to take a more cautious approach when it comes to managing the workload of these young players. What happened to Pedri in his breakthrough season was absolutely ridiculous and beyond me because at 18 years of age he played 70+ games in one season for club and country and after representing Spain at the European championships when he played every minute of every game on during their run to the semifinals and then a couple of weeks later he played for his country at the Olympics under that same manager and after that season are any of us surprised that he’s been plagued with injuries. Since the 2021/22 season he has picked up 7 injuries and has missed so many games and as we speak at the start of the season this current one he was out for 2 months and he still isn’t quite fully fit and match sharp.
That season has a long term impact on Pedri because he’s still only 20 years old and he is picking up so many injuries and if that continues he won’t reach his full potential and he’ll struggle to have longevity. It’s a shame to see because when he’s fit and every time he plays he’s one of the best midfielders in the world sadly he has been pushed to the limits and we need to see these young players reach these crazy levels when they’re at their peak and it’s only gonna get worse for these players with the new champions league format next season. I hope he overcomes his injury problems because right now he cannot play a full season without getting injured.
Barca fans and board are happy for their players to be called up for Spain as it looks good on them even when tge players are not ready, likes of Gavi, Pedri and Yamal should not be a mainstay in the Spain national team

Pedri and Gavi are one of the most talented players in world football and they’re players that have the potential of becoming superstars unstoppable forces in their peak but I feel like with the amount of football they’ve played at their young age, they have been ran into the ground and their international manager is a problem and this has a negative impact on Barcelona and both of them in the long run.

Okay, hear me out. Gavi already played too much minutes in Barca, 1 match off in Spain would not help him, his muscles were already overwhelmed. He is too young for that and he would have broken in the future. He was somewhat destined to have some kind of injury, playing so much is too risky for young players. They broke Fati that way, they broke Pedri that way, they already broke Gavi and Yamal is next (God, he is already a main squad player, he already got some stupid ass award and he is already being destroyed by media, fans and expectations, it's just a matter of time). Whole Spain, especially Barca are breaking its talents. Remember, they will forget Gavi as they forgot Pedri and (harshly) forgot Fati. They will break Yamal, then some new dude will show his talent and then they'll break him as well. It does not mean we can't blame Spanish national team management, they put more fuel into the fire, but he would have got an injury in the future for sure with so many minutes, expectations and pressure.
Gavi being an asshole against Madrid it OK now he will get what he deserves like us belligol it injured,curtois,camavinga and a lot now El Classico will be more interesting

Barcelona manager doesn't bench his player, no problem; Spanish manager doesn't bench his player, Spanish manager is the problem. Really wonderful from the fan base.
The games were insubstantial and they had more then adequate substitutes in Sancet and Merino that Gavi was not needed for Spain. That’s why it was an issue. Barca did not have a choice with their injuries (obviously playing 30+ games two years in a row at 17 is bad too, but that’s all the more reason for him not to play when he isn’t DESPERATELY needed)
