    Also, I want to make it clear that I'm not putting pressure on Lamine. I could've been more clear about it but Lamine does not have to be perfect a superstar or whatever, he just has to not get substantially injured. I really don't think that's too much pressure to put on a kid.

      considering it’s out of his control, if this was a general consensus and not just coming from one person i still think it would be a lot of pressure. playing sports with the parachute of thinking about avoiding injury is such a tough task physically and mentally. it directly correlates to the types of performances one can put in. look at the effect of competitions like AFCON (mid season) have on players in the weeks before they go. A permanent pressure to stay healthy as opposed to just being able to be free and express himself still is quite a lot of pressure.
      Mind you, it’s still not comparable to pressure to be the next *insert barca legend* so i get you gang

      You are definitely not the issue lol. It's the club's reponsibility not to use up a 16 yo to the point where his body is strained beyond repair. Remeber: This is a child. He's still going through puberty, it's already kind of messed up, that he's playing at tat frequency. So I doubt they'll act responsible.

    Just as Ansu was hailed as the new Messi, then Pedri and Gavi as the new Xavi and Iniesta, there is just too much pressure on these youngsters to carry a burden on their shoulders that ends up ruining their conditions sooner rather than later, and Yamal will suffer by the time he turns 21.

    • @jonathanm9993
      @jonathanm9993 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +21

      well they hired bojan for exactly that reason, but I'm inclined to agree with you. None of the other players had those types of expectations put upon them (apart from Messi with Maradona, but we could see how heavy those expectations weighed on him when he was with the national team im his formative years) and none of these players got their start during the social media age, where every bad performance is echoed to them and some 15 year old british boys call them names in front of millions of eyes

      Who said Gavi and Pedri are the new Xavi, Iniesta???
      The fans
      And who said that they failed at Barcelona ???
      Gavi, Pedri, and even Ansu are still playing at a top level when available. And even if they didn't perform now, they still have time to grow and show they best when mature enough. We saw players like Salah and Mane who became way better after their 25th.
      But Gavi and Pedri aren't failures. The only problems they are facing are the injuries.
      And even players who get injured a lot during their youth can have great careers like Debruyne. All they need is just good management which will give them more time to rest.
      Let's stop stupidly generalizing just to be able to shoot at a target.

    Well I might be wrong, but why don't we just pull in more kids from the academy and keep rotating them up?? That'll give them ample time to develop and also the constant rotation will ensure that they don't get overabused.
    Like Casado, Pau prim, fermin, yamal, guiu (that's all the B players I can name of) could be brought up and we'll have like 2-3 quality players in almost every position. Switch them up now and then.

    • @Herosennin
      @Herosennin 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's untrue. By far most injuries happen during the season, not international break.
      I see this statement come by way to often being completely wrong. There is just more focus on international break injuries because clubs constantly whine when in reality, it's them playing their players too much and/or far too many club matches.
      It's just a wild fingerpointing excuse of clubs to point at the international teams.

      @Herosennin 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@rossnour7251 Bro, lol you do know you can actually check lists of when injuries happened right?
      Don't believe people just because they say things on the internet. Like I said bro, most injuries happen during club football which is logical because at least 85% of the games players play are club games. Real Madrid this year is the team with the most injuries by far and only two of the TOTAL INJURIES players got, were during interland breaks(Camavinga and Vinicius) and for Vinicius it wasnt even his biggest injury also. All other injuries with 3 players who will miss the entire year, were all during the club season.
      Even IF injuries would happen more during interland breaks, it would STILL be because players sometimes play 50 games for their club a season, not because of the what 10-15 games a year they play internationally.
      I mean thats logical. It's not the interland games they play every 3 months bruh. Its the 3 games a week for their club why these dudes break down.

    • @rossnour7251
      @rossnour7251 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Herosennin I think FIFA and uefa and most leagues can have far better scheduling anyways, but I personally believe (from what I actually see happen) that most injuries happen when players are on international duty and many many would agree with me.
      But I'm a Barcelona fan, and perhaps Barcelona are thee exception, bc literally Everytime there is an international break, we have minimum of two injuries coming back our way, so perhaps I'm looking at it more narrowly, but again... Many agree with me.
