He is awful. I’ve honestly had enough of him. The guy is having his “best season” here at Barca and has the same g/a (14) as a “finished” Ansu Fati last season. The amount of favoritism Xavi has for him is insane. He has had two absolutely horrific seasons before this one and even when his output is the worst among the forwards once again he still continue to be invaluable to Xavi? It makes no sense.

Raphinha is also very good with inverted runs. I can still remember a fabulous goal that he had when Busquets was still here. We were playing in Camp Nou and Busquets made a very cutting pass across the box, and connected with Raph so beautifully for a goal. It only seems that Xavi is only beginning to realize Raph's strengths.
I too have issues with Raphs decision making. He could contribute a whole more if he had little more "pauza".

I think it was when Pedri got injured or sth early in the season, he even played the right interior midfield in the 4 midfield setting. If he can improve a bit more on passes and finishes, he's one of the best players of this team.

Decent player, hard worker, but not worth 60M and not even a better winger than kids like Yamal and Nico Williams. A winger has to be able to dribble and beat his man 1v1 - that's really not negotiable.
I think a touchline winger like Williams Jr on the left would be perfect for Raphinha actually. Personally I think that Raphinha should be starting on the right over Lamine, not only to prevent injury for Lamine, but also for the fact that Lamine is just not very consistent yet. My front line would be Lewandowski, Williams Jr/Xavi Simons, and Raphinha.

We are one of the biggest clubs in the world. It's impossible that we have no transfer budget considering all the sponsors, merchandise and ticket sales, prize money and the fact that we didn't spend a cent as a transfer fee last summer (yet we had like a €100m in sales).
If we manage to extend Cancelo and Felix's loans, get Zubimendi or Kimmich for €50-60m, and get rid of deadwood like Dest, Alonso, Roberto, Garcia, Lenglet, etc, etc, etc, we might just make it without that big player sale.
I also am absolutely against overusing Yamal. Yes, he is a generational talent, but we saw what happens to overused wonderkids (Balde, Gavi, Fati and Pedri).

Raphinha is roaming flank winger n not touch line winger ..... that's why we see completely different player from the one from leeds n when you give him the roaming flank role then you see his true game ....and if you sign a player from a different play style then what you play ....you have to make some changes to adjust the player rather then try to change the way he plays....
Honestly if you want to play tiki-taka Raphina is in theory the best player to have. He can move into spaces and is creative with his first touch.

Raphina is not a bad player neither a bad dribbler. Barcelona's game style doesn't fit his game, when he was at Leeds under Marcelo Bielsa, they play quick transitional football like Prime Bayern and Real Madrid. The attackers don't wait for the ball to come to them but rather they run and the ball comes to them. If Raphina was playing for Madrid he will fit perfectly and same as Bayern coz they like to play direct football. I love him so much but one thing a lot of people don't give him credit for is that he has adapted his game and he now only cares about G/A. If you check his stats in the last 3 seasons he is part of the top 5 wingers in Europe's top 5 leagues with the most Goal contributions but Barcelona fans don't respect that. I hope Hansi Flick joins the club coz it will help Raphina a lot. He is really fast and can play quick counters and transitions.
