FIRST, I WILL APOLOGIZE. I have been gone for two months! What’s wrong with me?? Why don’t any of you yell at me?? YOU’RE TOO SOFT.
Second, ARA. GIRL. This was a lot of fun! Doing a collaboration off the beaten path has instilled a passion in me for doing them that I never had before. This is the way it should be. Your miniature was BONKERS. SO GOOD~
There were tears. There were adequate times during this process. There is an end. I am done. W-WITH THIS MINIATURE.. Not everything. Geez. Melodramatic, ne?

Most miniature artists create their products in 1:12 scale. I create mine in 1:24 scale - twice as small!

Yeah! This was one of my favorite collabs so far! I definitely want to do this again! I don't have a place for mine yet, but one day, it's gonna go into a beautiful 1:24 scale dining room, haha.

Oh. My. Goodness! I cannot believe the detail you put into this clock/mansion/ornament. I've come here to watch as I follow BHM and I am stunned by your detailing. The sisal for the wood panelling of the walls. Wow. Definitely going to see what else you do :)
This is so awesome, it's gonna look great inside Ara's Addams Family dollshouse. You did a great job, my eyes would fail me on any one of your projects - I'd have to wear one of those bizzarre-looking jeweller's magnifying headsets to even see the details. lol
OMG the detail that went into your clock tower is crazy insane I think that I would go blind trying to cut such small pieces seriously, I love your work it just amazes me how much detail you put into each piece. More more is all I can say!!

You're not horrible and I know for a fact how much Ara loves the Addams clock house you made because she has mentioned it a lot. I doubt there was any room on it for a signature. You are another great channel that Bentley house directed us to and I was more than pleased to subscribe. I watched your tiny Xmas gifts last night..that was a lovely idea.

I saw the finished piece in person and then watched the video. I had no idea there were so many fine details that went into creating this! The creativity and intricacy in creating the windows, the siding and the shingles just blew me away! Great job! And I love the china cabinet! 😃

Terrific tutorial. So much detail! You should look into the Easy Cutter by Midwest building products. It’s a little pricey but it would help so much with those tiny wood cuts.
Funnily enough, I have it lying around somewhere (maybe a different brand though). I'm worried about using it and drifting too far off the "anyone-can-make-it" wagon. But I'll whip it out and try it for one project soon and see if I can never turn back, haha. And thank you, by the way!

KrakenMakeRuckus ah, yes, I've made my mark, then!! It is always really cool finding a channel early, knowing you're gonna blow up one day, and watching your techniques and style evolve.. it's beyond satisfying! Especially since I just don't have the artistic ability, or patience, to do anything beyond [maybe] something like polymer clay cakes. 😂😂 I would LOVE to finally find the right dollhouse and start commissioning some of my favourites I watch / follow to make something for it.. still let's me enjoy the miniature world, and get a piece from people like you that I admire! If SugarCharmShop on here would take commissions, I'd pay so much money or one of her animals, LOL, especially a cat with similar colouring to mine but, I wouldn't even be picky - if she felt like making some iguanas in a tank then I'd cherish it! Can't wait to see what all you do next. This was the best collab idea I've ever seen; not only are you teaming up to help each other with certain projects, you are actually exchanging little surprises! 🎁🎁
LOVE your work! May I ask how you got started, and what materials you use. What are your favorite tools? Are any adapted from other things? Thank you!
Thank you so very much! I started by buying a few materials at a time that I saw other TH-camrs using (SugarCharmShop, AkameruKawaii, etc). I was scared that if I didn't have the right materials, I couldn't make things properly (that's only 25% the case). I had zero confidence in myself to start it through sheer will alone. I literally had a camcorder and lights set up on my table as well as a video editing program installed on my laptop for almost 4 years because I knew that one day I would wake up and want to make something. I did wake up one morning and I wanted to make a crate (something crazy simple), and that was my first miniature I ever made, as well as my first real video on TH-cam. I literally have only learned from my mistakes from there. This is super long, but my favorite tools are my handsaw, Xacto knife, small right angles, MY MINI DIAMOND FILES FOR SURE, and my mini black clamps. And wood glue, haha. Surprisingly, most of those tools I grabbed myself because I felt I'd have a need for them while shopping. The first year goes by fast, and the stumbling through everything is very necessary, I feel.
