Over a period of time my wife became handicapped so being near an elevator was great. Often we had to pay extra to make sure we were near an elevator. If you are in AAA you can also get discounts.
I use to live in FL only 20 minutes from the port, I had agents that worked for the lines who know they could call me with just a few hours notice and I could be on a 14 day cruise. That takes some time to get to know the agents and lines to book the day before or same day with all the pre boarding security stuff.
We went on our first “ Casino at Sea” cruise this summer and it was fantastic. We have a 2nd one booked for 2025. Would love to see you make a casino cruise video !
I have seen a couple of instances when the cruiseline oversold a cruise and those that booked GTY rooms (they got a full refund & a FFC, but it kinds of sucks)
Yeah, I made a Tiktok about this over the summer of a bunch of folks in Australia who got bumped! It's rare, but *can* happen. I'll personally do a GTY if the savings are pretty good, but otherwise I'd rather pay a bit to pick my own room and not risk getting bumped (as unlikely as that may be).
We leave on our first cruise Sunday and since I gamble with my slots channel we were able to get a FREE cruise on our FIRST one it is awesome
