Each cruise line offers a slightly different experience so price alone is not all to look at. MSC upcharges for EVERYTHING and beats out Norwegian on Nickle & Dimming us to death. Well that sums up Norwegian except that they also have mediocre food but have solo cabins and a great teen experience. All cruise lines and each ship have pro's and cons so price alone is not all you need to look at. With the grandkids Carnivals bigger ships wins hands down every time. I love Princess with NO children going. I love Norwegian for the shows. So, price is the starting point then add in what you want out of your cruise. NEVER go on a 3-5 day Booze-Cruise unless you just want to get drunk and party. (Ok, I am going on a Booze-Cruise in November on Norwegian Jade with the Bananaland Baseball team out of Miami, but its with my adult kids and to party!)
