Great video. One of our favorite things to do on cruises is talk to the crew - stateroom attendants, bartenders, officers, etc... We love it and we learn so much. And, we make new friends that we see years later on different ships and other cruises.

Yes! Me too. I have held service jobs and always like to introduce myself and be sure to treat them well.

We love to cruise and we love to cruise internationally. We have done the Caribbean cruises as well. We have been on 4 Mediterranean cruises , one to Japan and one to Israel. For a quick cruise we are doing a Caribbean cruise in December. In October 2025 we are doing an Istanbul , Egypt to Athens Greece cruise. We love learning about different cultures around the world.

    Great video as usual.
Cruising is just one of many travel options people should consider. They all have their pros and cons. The cruise "Fan Boys" don't seem to want to hear this. We have traveled by cruise, roll our own, and for the first time by bus. I look at a cruise as a sampler of places. You get a taste but not an in depth exposure. We just did a 7 day bus tour of Ireland last week. It was like a cruise but on land and we had to pack up most nights to go to the following destination. Too bad Ireland does not have lots of rivers. If it did, we would have done another river cruise. We were able to see more than a cruise would have been able to show us but probably not as much rolling our own would have. If I didn't have to drive on the wrong side of the rode, I would have rolled my own. If we go back to Ireland, we will probably roll our own and go by train.
Yes, cruising is easy but it is not always better.
Diversity of travel options can expand the world you can access. People shouldn't be scared of trying something different.

I don't know if I would love the idea of packing up every night but I love the idea of seeing Ireland's beautiful landscape.

I love to cruise. Pay 1 price. Eat , drink, enjoy, sleep all in one ship.

I like it too, although i cruise solo most of the time. I hate for others to control my fun. Next up 10 days from LA to Mexico just over 3 weeks away. Remind others to subscribe , get the numbers higher for better perks for yourself.

Remind others earlier , not to sure why it didn’t get that the first time. Always best in the middle , as I’ve seen in others

what is she teaching i wonder? social media? graphic design? she doesn’t sound academic like a professor even in her thoughts

weird she sounds like a “professor” not a real one. not just how she speaks but cruising doesn’t let you go deep into the land or place - it’s mostly just a few hours in port - i’ve been on many cruises and land travel a lot

I've found that watching TH-cam vlogs is a form of people watching of the cruise experience. The difference is the vloggers will never know I exist unless I type in a comment. I found some of these channels to be unwatchable for me, while I have truly enjoyed other channels that don't get favorable treatment from the TH-cam algorithm.

I don't consider getting on Cruise real travel. It's equivalent to just visiting airports in different countries 😂😂

A lot of very valid points, except the diversity and racism remarks. The US is the most diverse and least racist country in the world.
