This goes beyond Jazz. This goes beyond vocals. This is life.

My man can sing. Homey can play that guitar. I want to be like them when I grow up.

Ilya Lushtak is also a really good singer, so technically you only have to be like one haha

It's like he suddenly dialled it to eleven! 'I'll attempt to sing it', rubbish, you flipping killed it :D Why are some of the most talented people so damn humble? ;D

I think you've made me fall in love with Jazz. The instruments, the style, the voices, everything. I have a new passion and I owe it to you. I can't wait to try it out and hopefully I get the hang of it and have the voice for it.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I'm a mediocre Trumpet player at best, but I love Jazz Music, one major reason being an obsession with Sinatra, the Rat Pack, and crooners of the like since 3rd grade. I do some singing and wondered if I should get vocal lessons for the genre I know, but finding a coach for it hasn't come easy. This is great. Perfect for what I need. It's so hard to croon and break off from emulating one of the greats. Thank you.

I don't really care about sounding different from others, I just want to sing true to my heart and I want everyone around me to know that I am a proud singing American boy!

I would like to request more videos on jazz violin. The violin is not always recognized as a jazz instrument with the broader public and it would be nice to have more content about it to inspire and inform.

Thank you Marion! I always think how I can put music on to MY way of speaking (the stories). But I often get side tracked by MUSIC (tempo, melody etc..). It's not easy to practice on the recorded tracks, because I don't get a live feeling. BUT, I continue to work on internalize stories. Keiko Kuykendall

It is OK, don't worry, you are doing great with your talent. Your are right that each person has their God's given voice, when the music is added, it is like icing on the cake, icing on the voice. Thank you for sharing your talent. Would you sing Amazing Grace , the way you would to speak it, thanks!
