Thanks Robbie, the flathead aren't the most attractive fish but they sure taste good! Yes, a lot of fun, with lots of good-natured sibling rivalry every time we go out. Both my sisters usually outfish me ..... not that it's a competition of course. O.K it is - every time!
Nice work, will have to get back to KI soon, we were only there for a week last time. Thought that would be enough. Not a chance, two weeks minimum next time.
Yes, a very 'sharky' area with numerous sightings, although to be fair, we have never seen one from the boat in nearly 20 years. Doesn't mean they aren't there of course!
How big is the boat and how long would you plan to go for? I would suggest at the very least you want an excellent forecast for several days and somewhere you can safely anchor up if the weather turns on you. This is not a place to get caught out and there are few public access points on the north coast and virtually no marine radio coverage or coastguard help! I would also recommend that you don't do a trip like that alone!
Great work Frank, even if the fish were "Fugly". 🤣🤣 Geez that type of fishing looks like a lot of fun.

Thanks Frank, that was fun to watch.
Thanks Glen, it was fun out in the boat too - sibling sledging at its best!
Nice.
Go to try and get there at some point.
You do! Did you get to Deep Creek, I seem to remember the weather was a bit dodgy then.

Thanks Dave - Absolutely! Apart from going as often as I can, I always try and do 10-14 days minimum.
Awesome stuff captain I have a sister in Kangaroo Island now and my brother-in-law is called Mark also
Thanks Wayne!
