Giday Ian, I have been meaning to write to thank you for the manufacturer plate, it finally showed up and now has pride of place on my desk, I love it so thanks my friend. It will forever be called Hockey tape thanks to you :-) Things are good down here, starting to head into the cool season, it's been a lovely wet summer, a big relief atfter the previous summer of horrific fires. How is the S1 resto going?? Hope Canada is treating you well Ian and you are starting to thaw. Cheers Steve

@@VintageRestorationsAustralia. Good day Steve, oh that’s great the plate made it too you safely, and that it is a treasured item. Glad to hear all is well and that you are enjoying the sunshine. Here Spring arrived nicely but was kicked into touch by winter, with stormy snow and wind back for the coming week. Hopefully I can soon be out working in the garage again. The next thing is helping change some oil seals and chassis bushes on the old land rover. All the best to you and I hope Canada soon has the virus in check. Stay safe and well, thanks Ian

They flat packed them and assembled them here, they were specifically made that way but they are pretty much the same Ag.

Mistaken ran an car oil filter on my shovelhead bike , if it had got blocked the oil pump would't have had the pressure to bypass the filter. . there was little reason for the filter to get blocked though . . I have an HD external oil filter now to be fitted , I used the car oil filter in place of the normal small oil cooling radiator but the the oil still got too hot & thinned out . . making the hydraulic lifters not work & valve train noise at times , will run a big oil cooler now as recommended . . pulled the motor apart for that stupid reason up north when trying to keep up with Evo's to a trip to the Bark Hut pub & everything started rattling . . there was nothing wrong with it just got too hot & lifters stopped working
