    I actually follow your channel because of the old caravan that you're rebuilding but I really enjoyed this video. I'm from Adelaide but I'm currently living in British Columbia, Canada. I was briefly in the Airforce in Wagga Wagga and I had an aunty that lived in Waikerie so everything looked very familiar. Thanks for the little taste of home. Keep up the good work. Cheers mate.

    'Steve's Aussie Tucker Map', there is a potential business venture as a phone app, you get to eat your way around the continent and let us know what to avoid and where to go. Your wife's knowledge of correct terminology for baked goods will assist in a quality product. A man who has his own workshop barista with a restored coffee machine from the tip is someone I would trust.

      You and Wilms are the road movie masters so if you say the world needs such an app then the world needs such an app. My single concern is my ability to stomach to many more potato scallops, chips and 'Cornish' pasties though, perhaps I can get a stunt double??

    As A Brit whos never been to Aus but has family who made it there home some 30 years ago, i never has seen so much real Australia in under a half hour as you and the Mrs provided along with some funny moments of life happening in your journey, no, OUR journey... Buying the landie bits was an extra that I cant miss being a landie lover once owning my much loved early 3 door Disco.. Now relegated to a Baby Freelander .. • @VintageRestorationsAustralia
      @VintageRestorationsAustralia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Now who didn't watch until the end and has no sense of adventure?... We went to visit our oldest friends that we have not seen for 4 years and.... drove my wife's car that is part of her employment package so no fuel/car cost and I claim the two nights accommodation we paid as a business tax deduction against my TH-cam revenue :-) Freight was quoted at over $800 for 2 pallets depot to depot via Melbourne to us in regional NSW, on top of that I would have had to pay old mate to pack it all and get to the Adelaide depot, so cost prohibitive to freight bulky parts... and I desperately wanted to film and photograph his 107 sw so I had actual comparisons for my 107 sw restoration and.... I love road trips and I now know not to order chips in Hay nor coffee in Luxton :-) If I was ever at all concerned about money I would not restore Landrovers and defiantly not invest my time in making TH-cam videos.
