I am SSF player, this is how I (find) 6 Links: - run all vaal side areas from early on, for lucky corrupted 6L find - Favor slot on "The Chains That Bind" maps like Cage and also favor one adjacent map and target farm those back and forth. There are many more 6-Link div cards e.g. for weapons, look for "List of divination cards granting six-link items" in PoE Wiki - Run maps with many Strongboxes (e.g. special map device craft). Make boxes blue (magic), spam Alterations until you get "Contained Items are fully Linked", regal the box on demand for additional mod. You can also modify random encountered boxes in regular maps but the required mod may not roll in low lvl maps, not sure. - Run every "Vaal Temple" Map Kirak offers you for decent chance for corrupted 6L - to 6L an item yourself with fusings, make sure you got exactly the base (and ilvl) you need and set Quality with Betrayal - Hillok in Transportation for Weapons or Fortification for Armor) to +30% (Hillok 3, kill Catharina --> Hillok 4). Qual improves link chance as Ziz explained - Expedition Remanants (at least in Logbooks) have a chance to roll "fully Linked" as well, at least in high lvl. fyi
Meanwhile I made 7 divs on a sale yesterday, spent 3 on a bow, spent 4 divs buying fusings and I still haven't linked it in 1649 tries lol. I should've just crafted it but couldn't resist.
I started playing this game with Ultimatum League and 6 linked my armour in 8 fusings. I thought this was normal. Now, almost 2500 hours later and many, many, many fusings later I have not been able to 6 link anything since then.
In trade league league start senario, with rare chest, jsut gather chaos orbs and buy one from others, with uniques try your luck with tainted fusings, corrupted unique chest base can be cheap, that part is usually easy, but getting enough vaal orb might be a problem. In SSF, run lower level heist and get a place holder 5L, then you can go farm einhar quests for the 6 link red beast in maps where also can drop 6L cards, and with uniques, just keep link with fusing
for any unique armor i always make it 6 socket then 5 link with fusings because at the start of league we dont even have craft for 5 link then i color my socket and corrupt with vaal orb if it not break i slam it with tainted fusing. Let me compare price quick i bought 2 nearly perfect cloak of flame and 6 socket it for 1 div. then i used about 120 fusings to make both 5 link (i think i got a little lucky here) then chromatic and vaal orb if we sums this 3 steps it would be less than 1 div. last things i bought 1 tainted fusings for 45ch 1 cloak break and turns in to cool looking rare 😂 when i tried to corrupt it on another i used tainted fusing and i got my 6 link cost a little above 2 div selling price abot 5 div later on if you dont use it anymore so you dont lose anything. Last thing i always quality as much i can before craftings and socketing/linking it higher your chance as far i know
I only 6 link using the crafting bench,on my first try I used over 2,3k orbs (started in kalandra)and didn't get it,I have 1,8k hours played and don't have the 6 link achivement.
I got an easy six link in expedition. There is a modifier that says all items will drop with full links so I used that node first and then prayed that a six socket chest would drop and it did.
Every league I watch one of these videos and every league it still ends up that my only 6L is a 5c failed corruption from the trade site. Sucks to suck
@@TypingHazard The good news is you can't suck at everything, because that would mean you suck at sucking and therefore don't suck! (fwiw usually within a week or two uncorrupted 6L chests are like 20-30c on trade league; that's what I tend to go with)
Hey hey people, 3.25 player here, one of the best method to 6-link anything now is getting a Black Mórrigan and a Craictic Sand Spitter in beast crafting, the cost is only around 1div, cheaper than bench crafting and omen of connection

my "go to" for a 6 link always has been market. Grab the one i need, sometimes i just get the correct colors too and then craft it with w/e mods i need
6 link lightning coil is 8div right now (4b2r). I was pretty unlucky and still got a 6 link with 6 tainted fusing (2.3div). Plus raw cost of the item and the other orbs it can't be more than 3 div.
Worth noting that if you're corrupting an item via the Craicic Vassal or a good ol' Vaal Orb in order to use a tainted fusing to six-link it, you might want to enchant that item first if you intend to use it for a while. 5000 juice can seem like a lot, but it's fairly easy to farm or buy, and it'll pay off in the long run. Corrupted items cannot be enchanted, after all.
To all of you pros (pretty much all of you compared to me) when you start a new league whats the quickest way to get 5 or 6 links as you're grinding through acts? Can obviously just buy 4 from vendor a lot of the time but through out last 3-4 leagues I've had to buy them and I'd prefer to be able to learn to find / make myself
Windows 10 has an option to reinstall its self and deleting all apps that helped me a lot but then i tried geoforce now and no more issues whatsoever even crappy laptop played smoothly. Just have to set all gfx to low each login.
I'm almost lvl 95 and still don't have any 6Ls, it's painful. I'm SSF so the trade stuff isn't an option. At least I'm playing DD, so 5L works for most things.
At that point you might also want to try farming beyond for a tainted fusing then 6 socket any armor pay 150 fusings (or gamble) for a 5 link on it, corrupt or double corrupt it for good implicites(if it is decent) then slam with a tainted fusing to hope for a 6L. It should be almost 50/50 afaik. Well worth the gamble :)
I play exclusively SSF, and yea... painful. I usually target 6-link card maps and spec into Legion, while trying to get Hillock to 28% the item. You can convert jewellers orbs into fusing using Lani and throw them at it if no luck. I've a 28% chest piece fail with 2.5K fusings before lol. Great fun.
When all you need is 2 blue, 1 red, and 3 green sockets on a bow and you roll for 2 blue and 1 red in your crafting bench and get 2 blue and 2 red from the craft... T_____T
Hi Zizaran, could you make a video about what items/stats are good for each gameplay type? For example, caster, minions, melee, crit, projectiles, totems. Not much in dept tho just the basic to start in the right path, i watched your video about which items are good? and ill have a poster of the image and another poster about vendor recipes, but i was like "man i would like something like this but for minions" since it only haves for melee weps, casters and bow.
For beginners follow a build guide. Good ones tell you what the good stats are But in general Reach 75% resistances on all elements Get as much life as possible Get the stats (dex,strength,int) needed for your gems. Depending on the build some form of damage mitigation (mormally armor or evasion) Then damage types that affect your skill. And later try getting chaos res to 0%

So yes, this game works def like that, tho it might be the layers of complexity that are obscuring the simple stuff, i allways follow guides dont get me wrong, but i rather have simplified generic stuff of each playstyle in a cheat sheet than having to open my browser risking overheating my pc while gaming.

For example, builds like cold dot and ignite use dot multi. Other builds are crit based. Some use attributes or life to increase their damage such as a life stacking rathpith globe build. My point is that "what stats are good" is entirely based on your specific build and will not always apply to other similar builds.
Will you brick a 6-link by using a fusing on it or do fusings stop working on 6-links? Can I just grab a stack of 1,000 fusings and turn on an auto-clicker on my item and walk away?
I keep trying to play POE over and over, but I hate it that it takes that much research and stuff, and basically is more a pc game than a console game. Every time I start a new char with some months in between, I drop it around lvl 50. Like now, I had to look up on my computer to find the best way to get items with more gem slots/links, since I got multiple minion gems I want to link. I don't mind putting effort in a game, but POE has so many layers of content in it, and like close to zero in-game learning, it puts me off again after a couple days. I'm 100pct sure I'm not the only potential POE player that stops already after a couple days. Look for an example at all the items you're collecting, for upping weapons, upping armor, changing color slots, upping rarity, upping to magic, rerolling specs etc etc It could al be so much easier if you'd just have 1 or 2 currencies for that instead 🙄 Also the controls for playing and targeting with console as ranged also is mwah Hope that POE2 will be easier for starters..
@@deceiver444 He makes a lot of videos he thinks are useful to brand new players, but the issue with people that have many many thousands of hours in the game is they forget how many things they take for granted are not 'common' knowledge. They will explain a basic mechanic without realizing you will only understand it if you understand the other 50 previous basic mechanics propping up that one. Nobody ever mentions beast crafting..... Spec atlas into sands beasts and rare, farm the vulture , ez 6 link base... got my vulture farming the white einhar missions.
@beasthaven1571 it's got 2 spots where it can brick. 1) on the corrupt. You can either use beasts to corrupt safely or vaal. I used a vaal cuz I'm using a 5c unique. 2) on that tainted fuse from 5 link to 6. Just win the 50/50
Hi Ziz! I am a newb with approx 1k hours (xD) and majority of these tips extremely hard to understand and follow. Maybe it's because english isin't my first language. If you want someone to completely renake a video, you atleast need to provide feedback on what you specifically did not understand. Was it too fast paced? Was it some mechanic you didnt understand?
God damn it, so ... buy it or buy it or be super lucky or use 1500 link makers things. I kind of miss the days where you just make your own build and you stop playing after you finished the game.
I'm new to poe and one thing is puzzling me. Is it that difficult to make a video with a step-by-step path from none 6L item to one fully crafted 6L? Why doesn't anyone do this and only provides some explanations regarding mechanics that I don't even know about and I don't know how they work in themselves, let alone how to use them to create an item?
I'm wary about referring to another YTer on someone's vid, but there's a very good primer on metacrafting from 0 to complete by a guy called Big Ducks "The most important crafting method" I think is the title. There are others too by other creators. Fair warning. Crafting in POE is NOT EASY. It takes an absurd amount of knowledge an experience to fully master, so any video is probably going to come up short. Def my least favoured thing about the game.
Don't go for RNG ever I stopped gambling fusing a long time ago but this dude made me try to get a 6L without the bench it didn't go well I spent around 4k fusing to get a 6L on 30% quality item just go for the bench 5+ div down the fking drain

I literally raw 6L my Lightning coil with 20 fusings yesterday. I used up all my luck for the next 1000 hours of playtime.

My favorite is just opening up a live search on what I want and keep gronding. Low chaos 6 links with bad stats beats out a tabula at high levels.
I know this is most likely a typo, but gronding sounds so funny, please don't fix it. Keep gronding!

This game doesn't work like that. You need to follow a build guide to get the most out of a specific archetype.
For beginners follow a build guide.

It stops once you 6L, you can't remove a 6L without the crafting bench
Autoclicker and walk away watch a movie profit
I've seen videos where they say you bind your mouse click to your mouse wheel and you can shift scroll and use a stack almost instantly

Idk how but every season I 6L my armor with a maximum of 300 fusings, its incredibly lucky
I dropped a level 55 six link with colors for LA in Act 6 or 7.
Also dropped that Rampage rarity belt in Act 4 but I still can't see the Blue mist.

Does base percentile matter when rolling links.
Does 6 linking an item, whether Armour or two handed weapon, block the next roll like when 6 socketing an item?

I'm new to poe and one thing is puzzling me. Is it that difficult to make a video with a step-by-step path from none 6L item to one fully crafted 6L? Why doesn't anyone do this and only provides some explanations regarding mechanics that I don't even know about and I don't know how they work in themselves, let alone how to use them to create an item?
As a newer player myself, it's very hard to get all the fusings, mats needed to do that plus other crafting.
I'm wary about referring to another YTer on someone's vid, but there's a very good primer on metacrafting from 0 to complete by a guy called Big Ducks "The most important crafting method" I think is the title. There are others too by other creators. Fair warning. Crafting in POE is NOT EASY. It takes an absurd amount of knowledge an experience to fully master, so any video is probably going to come up short. Def my least favoured thing about the game.
