Steph you could make a bunch of waffles and store them in the fridge or the freezer and then heat them up before eating in a toaster or toaster oven just enough to warm them back up.
Thanks Pee Wee!
This might have been said already but it's best to leave it closed and when steam stops coming out, they're ready. At least that's been my experience. I bought the Dash waffle maker that makes 4 waffles. I make a batch, freeze them and then heat them up in a regular toaster like you would do frozen waffles from the grocery store.
Yes, when the steam isn't coming out any longer, the waffles are ready.
Do you know how to clean the waffle iron ? Wet a paper towel and put it in the waffle iron leave it in until the waffle iron is cooled down
My recipe is slightly different. I use 1 cup of pork panko mixed with 1 tablespoon of unflavored beef gelatin powder. I mix all the dry ingredients together so that no clumping occurs when the eggs are added. Then I crack 4 eggs into the bowl with the dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. That will make 4-6 waffles in the Dash Multi Waffle Maker. The gelatin acts as a binder and gives a slightly chewier texture like what you would expect with a bagel.
I make these in bulk on my days off. They freeze really well and reheat perfectly in the air fryer or toaster. They make amazing grilled cheese sandwiches or you can just eat them as is with softened butter on top.
Love your channel and all the carnivore updates.
Do you still add the butter into the mix?
My fave carnivore waffles: 4 eggs, 1 scoop beef gelatin powder, 1 tablespoon melted butter.
Makes 8 dash waffles. I like to add spice like cinnamon.
How much is a scoop of gelatin? Mine did not come with a scoop.
@@cindydemanche3839 I use the same scoop that came in my vital proteins collagen. Whip eggs first, then add the powders, spice if you use (I add stevia drops or Lily’s choc chips for the kids) and then whip again. Wait a few minutes and you have batter. Butter for the waffle irons. Cook longer than you think. If they deflate you need to cook longer. OMG these are my fave!
@@jessrx1 thank you! Any idea how much that scoop holds?
@@cindydemanche3839 it’s just shy of 2 tablespoons
@@jessrx1 thank you!
2Tbsp melted butter. 1 egg. 1/4 c pork panko mix. Makes two waffles carnivore waffles
Keep them in the fridge, yes, and put in toaster to warm them up❤❤
When the blue light is on, it's ready to cook. When the blue light goes off it is cooked and ready to take out.
You take it out when it stops steaming.... the light goes on and off depending on the temperature, when it cools down the light goes out, when it reaches temperature the light goes on.
You have to wait until it stops streaming...
You can add any meat to the batter.
I pre make chaffles and put them in the fridge. Pull them out and in the toaster. Great. Dash also makes a larger waffle maker that has 4 wells. They make 4- 4” chaffles. Worth the money if you make a lot of chaffles.
You can make sandwiches out of them too. You can freeze them and toast them like a Eggo waffle
add a dash of garlic powder and a dash of onion powder to the mix.
Plus, the pork rinds have grease in them so you really don’t need to grease.
The Dash is very popular when you’re doing Keto. There’s no need to worry about the food sticking. I’ve had mine for 3 years and still nothing sticks. I cook mine for about 4 minutes. And yes, I make lots at once and keep in the frig. Snacks and can use for sandwiches too!
Awesome!
and hamburger bun and will not stick due to lard in PR
Thanks for the recipe. I decided to modify the first one since my husband would like a better tasting waffle (close to a regular waffle made with wheat flour). So, I added 2 tsp Allulose, 1 tsp vanilla and a pinch of salt since I used unseasoned pork rind. It passed his taste test.
That's Great Yolanda ❤
You can make them and put them in a freezer bag and warm them in a tooster
You can put really small chopped up the meat, steak. And while it is cooking it will give you the right amount of grease to make it not stick. 😊 Try it with one, go for broke. 😊 ❤ E Y L!!!
Aww mannn!! I got rid of our mini-waffle maker when we moved! We used to do Atkins diet and made chaffles. I belong to a ChaffleChat group on Facebook and they had tons of recipes to make in their files....but we kinda gave up Atkins. I used just eggs and shredded cheese to make them. We used them as "buns" for our burgers. I don't know if they have any that would work with carnivore diet.
When you're finished making chaffles, just put a damp paper towel in the inside and close the lid on it, after you unplug the machine. Even though it's non-stick, it'll help absorb the oils.
New to the channel. Never made Chaffles with the Pork Panko breadcrumbs! Thanks for the recipe..
How do you use pablo an DC claim its carnivore?
I make mine for the week and put them in the toaster or air fryer when I eat them
You don’t need to put anything on waffle iron like butter and it does not stick 😉
well guess it depends on what you're cooking maybe 🙂
Wait until the steam stops or slows way down. Then it will be done. The light just indicates that it's heating.
Thanks for the tip Pamela 😊
I made that pork rind bread loaf. And I didn’t like it. Too salty/savory.
Okay I commented before finishing the video. I don’t know you had a bread recipe. I may try again. I really want to lighten up my meals sometimes.
Cold one o r room temp make awesome sandwiches. Make head and frig.
They also make awesome French toast, dip in egg and cream cinnamon fry… amazing
Looks good! I bought the carnivore crisps and I did not like them at all! I would have to try the pork panko one!
Ghee or lard are good for lubricating waffle irons. For extra crispness, you can let it cool on a rack. The rack in a warmed toaster oven works well.
What does the factory use to fry the pork rind in? Seed oil? Palm oil?
Got leftover meat? Cut into bite size pieces and add to your mix. The possibilities are endless .
Ok i just made them🤢🤮 I new what might happen and it did, i don't know why when i eat pork rinds it kills my stomach and i throw up then I keep burping 🤔 it doesn't happen every time but it happened tonight plus they were horrible. But it was fun watching y'all make them😅
You two are looking great on the Carnivore Diet with Steve’s added benefit of being pest free. It’s great that friends doing things together makes them easier and more palatable. Kudos. 😊❤
I add the ingredients into my small blender jar and blend it til smooth. Great texture with no hard pieces from the panko. I also bought the Multi-Dash waffle maker to make more at a time. Delicious!
Do you still make these? Just curious, as I just started watching your videos regularly again and lately it's Beef and Eggs only?
We don’t make them anymore. The longer we’ve been on Carnivore the less variety we require 😊
Can freeze them in bulk and take them out and throw them in the toaster
Make a bunch and freeze them then when ready to eat pop them in the toaster …like an ego!
After you make them, let them cool, put in toaster to crisp up. Make a fried egg with runny yolk...and put in between the 2 waffles. WALAAHH....you have a fried egg sandwich. The runny yolk makes up for mayo😋😋😅
You can also add xathen gum to the mix to make them crispy
I usually cook chaffle until it stops steaming which makes it crunchy. Now you can make a hamburger with a bun!! Cool. Ty
Yes!! We’re gonna try it! Wish we could have pickles! 😆
Oh man those would be so good with bacon 🥓 😊 Excellent
wait panko is carnivore friendly?
Use lard or ghee to keep the chaffle from sticking. Put a plate underneath the mini waffle maker to catch spills. Bake 2-4 minutes until steaming stops.
I have a machine from Tefal ; multi snack collection; with changeble plates that makes two waffles, pancakes, bagles and much more; the plates go in the dishwasher. This machine helps me through keto 🍀
Very cool! Thanks for the tip 🙂
What is Chicken Flour????
You guys crack me up. I’ve been making. Chaffles for about six years. I’m glad you discovered them. There are so many different ways to make them. I make the egg white protein bread so I take the egg yolks and make waffles in my minis. It’s for egg yolks about a half a teaspoon of baking powder and about a half a teaspoon of vanilla and if you want, you can add flavoring I don’t. I love them and they are my favorite.
Grease it with a bit of tallow or bacon grease
I've made similiar chaffals and I either put them into crisper.. or freezer.. and then I put them into the toaster, or toaster oven.
Great tip thanks 😊
I’ve seen people use lots of different things in a waffle maker. You could do that Steph and then toast it to warm it up. 😂 lol, chicken n waffles take on a whole new meaning.😅😂😊❤.
The Porq brand has sugar in it.
They are done after it stops steaming like 3 min
Wow! Awesomeness!!! Great idea! Love ya Puddy! Have a great class!🐾🥰🥰🥰🐾
you both look like clumsy cooks
Toast them from the fridge….?
Couldn’t you just brush bacon grease on the waffle maker??
Good idea 👍🏼
If you refrigerate them, maybe you can put them in the toaster ...maybe you could freeze a batch.....hum ...gettin hungry...
That sounds like a great idea! Thanks Tracy
For easier cooking you can put melted butter into the "batter" and about 1/4 cup of "batter" will make one of the mini chaffles or paffles.
Good idea thank you 😊
Thanks for giving us so many different carnivore varieties! You 2 are the best!
Our pleasure Jeanie ❤
You could make ahead of time refrigerate then just pop in the toaster when you want one.
I've seen you two some where before. you were buying creates form Amazon.
Yes. Liquidation pallets 😊
Hi there. Ok is no one going to comment on Miss Puddy Pants having to go to class! 😂😂😂 I’m not spoiled…you’re spoiled. 😂😂😂💖💖💖
😂
Get organized
Do 1/2 panko,1/2 chicken flour. More butter
Will try
Omg you cook them until they stopped steaming Stop opening them
😂
They are great the next day. You can throw them in the air fryer to heat up.
No dairy but butter? Isn’t butter dairy? 🤦♀️
Yes it is. We eat butter but don’t use milk. Sorry for the confusion
To much oil
If you are eating “Butter”… you are eating dairy!!
Your body recognizes organic butter as fat, not dairy, so most people with dairy issues can have butter 😊 so enjoy
3 minutes
Wait. Did I miss something? You said you weren’t eating dairy and then smeared that waffle maker with butter. Huh? 🤷🏻♀️
Sorry, No dairy except butter and Ghee
@@StevenSteph okay. So that makes sense. As someone that is dairy intolerant, I know I don’t eat butter so that was a bit confusing but I don’t know all the carnivore eating plan guidelines.
Could you do a video on how you use your air fryer
Here you go. th-cam.com/video/Ah1LjMHoasI/w-d-xo.html
It's a lot more efficient to use a bigger waffle iron, either regular or Belgian. A combo of protein powder (Equip if you want it carnivore), a handful of shredded cheese and water or an egg works fine. I can't imagine adding the pig panko - uggh.
you can use bacon grease or lard or butter to not stick
Great idea Patty
yes grab and go
FUNNEL CAKES!!!!!!FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD. CARNIVAL DAYS, OR STATE FAIRE.😊 ❤ eyl
There is a duck fat spray that you can get.
Cool. Thanks for the tip
I have the minnie waffle maker. And the pancake one. And make them and freeze them. Wonder if you could make some of these. And freeze them. And then heat them up in the air freezer. The kid's heat the ones I make in the toaster.
Let them cook until they stop steaming and they are done. They make awesome hamburger buns and egg and bacon sandwiches.
Dash makes a larger waffle maker that makes 4 round waffles at the same time. After years of making chaffles with 3 Dash mini waffle makers I was over it and bought the big one. Now I can make enough for 2 waffle servings or 2 sandwich/buns for 2 people at the same time.
I got mine at Costco it came with different plates to change out heart gingerbread man snowflake and just regular waffles
U can make them in advance & put them in ur freezer just don't add the extra butter once there done. Cook them freeze them than when u want 1 put it in ur toaster until warm then put all that butter on top! Just like u would an Eggo!
NOW I HAVE TO SHOP AGAIN, WAFFLE IRONS AND PANKO. THANKS....REALLY THANK YOU
Honestly the best tasting carnivore waffles is the one with just egg yolks and either butter or bacon grease.
God bless you and your beautiful wife and family. And Aunt Puddy.
🙋🏻♀️♥️🇺🇸
You could do up 4 of them and make carnivore chaffle sandwiches.
Keto chaffles made in the tiny Dash waffle makers are made with egg cheese and almond flour. Same principle. Works great.
You can Grease with a piece of fat from pork or beef, lard will also work
Thanks for the tip Klara
Hi there. Exactly what I was going to say. Just use lard, easy-peasy. It will give a different taste with pork fat too. 💖from me to you.
Hi Steve Steph and Puddy Wow that's awesome now you got snacks. Blessings your friend Joyce ❤
I have a question? If you’re using butter, since when is it not considered dairy?
Good point! Most don’t consider it dairy when we talk about it but we do use butter and ghee both. Actually now we’re almost a year carnivore this month, we hardly use any butter-we’re obsessed with air fried beef fat bites 😆 so that’s our main fat source side these days. Also we love tallow more now and we’re swimming in it we have so much from the fat bites drippings. I haven’t bought butter in a looong time and have a lot in the freezer doing nothing 😆
And now I have some cheese on occasion so I do do some dairy. Steve still doesn’t.
@@StevenStephthank you for getting back to me, I was a little confused. The beef bites sound really good I’ll have to give them a try.
i have 1 just make them put them in fridge then warm them in toaster or toaster oven yummy that what i do enjoy :)
What is the Original recipe?
You guys are so funny😂
You could precook them then pop them in the toaster oven to warm them they will smell though because of the butter
😆 you guys are cute
You are very kind, thank you 😊
Steph and Steven are a delight to watch. Loosing my patience with this cell, it's dying. UGU Joan
I would use your brown butter with bacon to either top them after or to butter the waffle maker for extra flavor
Hi Steph and Steve, Mmmmm, Those look yummy.
Can i share a link to a channel that makes crispy chaffles?
Dairy free with lashings of butter..
I put mine on a paper plate, they almost always leak for me
Why does she say no dairy but one of the main ingredients is butter?
Good point! Most people in the carnivore group don’t seem to consider it dairy when they talk about it 😆
Oh and since this video we currently only use butter to butter our egg cooker. I haven’t gotten butter in ages! Also since, I (Steph) do on occasion have some cheese now. Steve still doesn’t 😀
That’s so weird, butter is made from cream! Nothing else is more dairy!
It will be done when the light comes on
Aww man, Steph. You're one step ahead of me (or maybe a few.) I just ordered chicken flour (it's on sale) from carnivore crisps to try their microwave bread recipe and was excited to tell you about it when I receive it and make some. 😂
But, I like the idea to use the pork panko instead. Way cheaper! And the chaffle instead of microwave bread sounds much better as well. Off to Amazon to buy a Dash waffle maker....
EYL!
Hope you like it! Thanks for watching 🙂
Love the videos! I'm curious about something, though. Have you been tracking your cholesterol levels through this carnivore diet? I have a couple of friends at the gym that have been on it for about a year and they just both had annual physicals. Their levels were outrageously high. And these guys hit it hard every day in the gym. Just curious.
High blood cholesterol on carnivore is not a problem. Research more.
