I love that when Ryan speaks he always says “WE” when referring to anything regarding the race team. It takes a village and you can’t do it alone.

Its always " we" with Ryan. We win. We lose. We tore this up. We got this right. We got this wrong. We need to do that......ryan Martin is a class act. And it's awesome to have a guy like that at the peak of the sport to represent it .. He really is a snapshot of what a racing sportsman should be. And his team are some of the best in the world. That's why when that car wins. Its because of all of them

Ryan mentioned many of the street racing legends he in the early days of the SO television show, Megladon, Birdman, Golden Kong, Kye Kelly, all the 405 gang and how he chased them. He's done that, caught them and now they chase him. We do know from the early episodes many of the 405 went to Ryan tuning shop B&R Performance for help with their hotrods. Nowdays we doubt he tunes on those cars but we know (because they mention it) he does help them at the track when he can. Ryan's a huge presence when he and his team are at an event, one of the fan favorites because he's personable with them and he always puts on a GREAT show with monster, John Force style burn outs on scale with the pro Funny Car's. Thanks Ryan for giving us a very detailed walk through of the Famous Fireball Camaro, we loved it!! Ohh, and we're wishing you guys all the BEST SAFETY and GOOD Luck for the 2021 season.

Very nice upgrades to Fireball. I was able to see the changes being made firsthand due to my car being at RK Racecraft at the same time as yours. Ryan Rakestraw and Jon Homier are great guys. Everyone that works there is a true craftsman. Hope you wear everyone out this year!

Ryan Martin you are a beast my friend. U def have came the farthest of the newer list racers. No one quite stacked up to u coming in. You definitely helped take the street outlaws to the next level. If u didnt join the show they wouldnt of had such steep competition to keep up with. Love the car cant wait to see u tear up some more streets and the track with this combo.

I know people either love or hate vinyl wraps , but would wrapping the cars not of saved a bunch of weight? Cars are awesome! Awesome program! Cool down to earth guy and I hope you get another NPK championship and rule the streets!!

Since I started watching street outlaws, you have always been a class act racer, most racers are arrogant and and big headed, you , Daddy Dave and Monza are my favorites. Then I would say Chuck and Dominator. Enjoy watching you guys race.

Out of all your videos I gotta say this one is top 5 at least. When describing your program, or specifics on the car you have a knack for being very educational, without sounding like your trying to " dumb it down too much" for non racers. Keeps more folks watching til the end. Now without tryin to sound like some yuppy fanboy, the engine maintenance video idea sounds great. Not another oil, filter, and a set of plugs vlog lol but the new rods, head swap, valve laps etc. Never disected a hemi personally, I'm curious what the rocker geometry looks like to operate those valve placements and angle. I'm picturing "lots of offset levers because this doesn't normally reach over there" action.
Thank you sir, keep m coming

I actually live just outside Atlanta and need a good paint job, thanks for the tip...
The move to vent to the frame rails is brilliant and moving the engine back will really make things more manageable. Getting the bias towards the rear will make shifting weight "overcthe hump" so much easier, getting the percentage points a few to the rear, like 54, 55% might make it a lot smoother and less "unsettling," I would think plus less tire shake? Seems to me but, you know your car. I'm just an old racetrack war horse.
Amazingly, your Car's almost the same weight as Chief's Pontiac, which just doesn't seem possible (he showed the car on the scales).
I had a sign up in my shop...
"Speed costs money, how fast do you wanna go??" 😀
You talked about getting penalized because you ran good... I believe it.
Before Nascar went to this body setup, they used to have the annual IROC race (international race of champions) where, for one race, everyone was given an identically prepared IROC Z so it would just be a driver's race. Novel idea, fun idea, now *every* race is an IROC race and that's why the races are so boring until the last few laps when everyone is trying to do *something* to break away from the pack.
They went to this in the first place because the manufacturers were complaining about not being able to be competitive. Well, that's what drove innovations in automotive design.
I remember watching the Pettys running in the early '70s and they had their Mopars so hot they were literally 20 laps or more ahead of everyone else and the "racing was to see who would be the next four. And I think it should still be that way and they should build cars that are different, now that they have Chevy and Dodge and others that have the power again. And get rid of the damned restrictor plates...
But, that takes away the "driver first" mentality which would upset the sponsors and that's why it's all IROC racing now, anyway... For the sponsors, not the fans or cars.
But I digress... I was talking about how you should be able to race the cars and make them do what you can (I understand certain restrictions, like weight) and let the big dogs eat. Well, I can dream, can't I!?? 😆
