I been street racing for 19 years, since before I had a license, been a mechanic/fabricator/welder/whatever my whole life, but I feel like I'm always learning something new from u guys. I've said it before and I'll continue to say it, I genuinely love the content, it's much appreciated!
This one is for Justin..I figured out a way out of a nightmare situation on those old Vettes years ago. The door won't open after you try to UNLOCK it. Key won't work..power lock trys but wont..full trim almost impossible to get off from inside..Here's what you do. Get your WD And straw. Fold the outside handle down..poke th straw threw the hinge gap and drown the shit out of the lock asm..work the outside handle several times..then try to unlock. WORKS EVERY TIME...Those old locks goo up and won't allow the linkage to move all the way inside the lock latch asm. I figured that out when I was working for chevy back in th day..seen it at least 10 times! I suggest you do it Now to prevent lock issues. Remember...it's never too late to Lubricate! 😁👍
That was a good discussion about buying a used tube chassis car or any used chassis and letting people know that you have to understand what you want and need before you go buy some used car that to be honest has been beat on. These are high HO cars and they get beat on. My favorite video of yours.

Unless ppl have been doing what you do and everything that goes with it and your car it's difficult. We are a machine shop doing heads, manifolds etc. Have our own cars and that when shit gets real. Love it and love watching u guys , it's definitely different being on the other side of the fence. Nice job!!

Man I was just going through some old videos and came across the one where the cop stopped on the hiway. Literally 10 feet from yall but couldn't get to you because of the fence. Clean getaway and a confused af cop. Those are the times I wish we could bring back. After all this time it is awesome to see you possibly going back to 100% street.

Yep, making 3000 horsepower don't mean anything if you can't put the power down and have the adjustability to adapt to new streets or tracks or whatever surface you're trying to race on. Would be pretty embarrassing showing up making that kind of power talking trash and throwing down money just to get smoked by something making half that because you can't hook up or get it to go A to B without trying to kill you and everyone else within 100 yards of the road. He's definitely got the right idea here, run it all over the place for a season, see what your weaknesses are, have the new chassis built to remedy those weaknesses. He already knows it's stupid fast and makes plenty of power, he needs to see what it's going to want out of a new chassis setup and weight distribution wise.
100% agree. Last season Chief was nearly to beat Ryan, old heavy chassis and old little pontiac motor vs basicly a brand new built Camaro with a ProCharged HEMI. Mr. Crow just needs a new chassis build

Always sharing information and explaining in detail from knowledge in street racing to his cars etc. I started racing after watching chief on street outlaws. I love all the technical stuff Justin talks about that’s how I learn is listening to people like Justin and Lutz and Clay. If I read it in a book I don’t retain it but if I listen and can watch with a video it’s the best. I would sit through a 2hr long video just listening about setup, combos, tuning anything. I think you should get a brand new chassis! Like a NPK/street style chassis that can be used as both. Question is who are you gonna get to build it just how you want it. Larry Jeffers builds really nice cars right? Might as well go borrow some cash, go in debt, and get ready to run NPK next year…cash in on crazy merch sales and travel the country racing! I think you will pay for a new car, a tow rig, and anything else you’ll need within two seasons of merch sales alone! Because I assume you will sell more merchandise than anyone else racing NPK right now. I don’t think any other racer can do that but I think you’re the most popular “street outlaw” and will make major profits.

I think you will find out you already have enough. But a lighter weight new tech chassis can only make it harder for anyone to touch in the future. I agree 100% another car is not the way to go.
Thanks for the post. Hope you make it on a show that works for you. I’ve watched from the beginning and that was a rough patch in my life. Watching you and the guys then gals through the years has always been something for me to look forward to. I think an amazing series would be a gunslinger type mix. You and 2 or 3 other guys just roll into someone’s town and call them out. And you have a best of 3. That way you can prove who’s the dominant racer and not lucky on a flip, lane choice or one bad tune.

Love the videos 2 in one week. I was up at bickel’s shop the other day seeing my buddy. And of course I had to go roam around the shops. They do such beautiful work. The attention to detail is crazy. But like the saying goes you get what you pay for.
I can understand what you are saying about building a new car cause of all the repairs as we do the same thing with our basic hobby race cars we run on the dirt ovals(which I know is way different to drag racing) and we basically yeeet our competitors into the catch fence and then gotta repair steel work. The guy that I help out with him and I have been blessed with the guy we chose to build our stockcar is absolutely kills it with his work.
I feel obligated to share this since I know now I'm not alone. I've been a Street Outlaws fan since season 1 episode 1. At some point over the years it seemed to get away from what it started as. You taking the time to take a step back, tear down and get rid of all the BS, and get back to you. THANK YOU! I'm so excited to see what you and Jackie have coming.

Sounds like the Crow Mod was more trouble than anything. The inconsistent flexing and reliability Chief mentions was educating for me.

I've always enjoyed watching Chief since street outlaws came around. Always sharing information and explaining in detail from knowledge in street racing to his cars etc. I started racing after watching chief on street outlaws. Everyone has a hero or someone they look up to. Appreciate all your videos and thanks for being someone to look up to!

I love all the technical stuff Justin talks about that’s how I learn is listening to people like Justin and Lutz and Clay. If I read it in a book I don’t retain it but if I listen and can watch with a video it’s the best. I would sit through a 2hr long video just listening about setup, combos, tuning anything. U guys make racing fun and interesting for all levels of people. Thanks
From leaving the so called "spotlight" and venturing off into your own thing has definitely showed its where you guys needed to be. No bullshit, no rushing to make it to races with a car at half its potential, just doing what you want when you want. The preparation and attention to detail your able to put in the cars now is gonna be huge for your guys program. 2022 is gonna insane for you two and the cars, I can't wait to watch the domination that's coming!

I absolutely love what you are doing now. Being able to watch you share your knowledge of racing and mechanical skills is so much better than any show on tv now. Its awesome to see someone who is willing to actually show real aspects of racing and what it takes to do it. Far better than the typical tv stuff of gotta get all these sponsored parts bolted on before the next commercial and it magically works. Cant wait to see you ripping up the pavement again. I think you should get a brand new chassis! Like a NPK/street style chassis that can be used as both. Question is who are you gonna get to build it just how you want it. Larry Jeffers builds really nice cars right? Might as well go borrow some cash, go in debt, and get ready to run NPK next year…cash in on crazy merch sales and travel the country racing! I think you will pay for a new car, a tow rig, and anything else you’ll need within two seasons of merch sales alone! Because I assume you will sell more merchandise than anyone else racing NPK right now. I don’t think any other racer can do that but I think you’re the most popular “street outlaw” and will make major profits.

I honestly like the more technical content. Especially the chassis stuff. This kind of knowledge seems to be a weakness for a lot of people/racers.
So cool hearing the history of the car. Remember thinking how cool it was when you mentioned the car being the first Pontiac in the 6s during the initial build on the car but never knew all the other stuff you mentioned in this video. Such a badass backstory

I think you will find out you already have enough. But a lighter weight new tech chassis can only make it harder for anyone to touch in the future. I agree 100% another car is not the way to go.

I think an amazing series would be a gunslinger type mix. You and 2 or 3 other guys just roll into someone’s town and call them out. And you have a best of 3. That way you can prove who’s the dominant racer and not lucky on a flip, lane choice or one bad tune.

Technology of the chassis is #1. You set up your ride as good as anyone. Then you have others who know how, what and why but also have the cheese $$$$ . We enjoy guys..
Love the videos 2 in one week. I was up at bickel’s shop the other day seeing my buddy. And of course I had to go roam around the shops. They do such beautiful work. The attention to detail is crazy. But like the saying goes you get what you pay for.

I can understand what you are saying about building a new car cause of all the repairs as we do the same thing with our basic hobby race cars we run on the dirt ovals(which I know is way different to drag racing) and we basically yeeet our competitors into the catch fence and then gotta repair steel work. The guy that I help out with him and I have been blessed with the guy we chose to build our stockcar is absolutely kills it with his work.
I feel obligated to share this since I know now I'm not alone. I've been a Street Outlaws fan since season 1 episode 1. At some point over the years it seemed to get away from what it started as. You taking the time to take a step back, tear down and get rid of all the BS, and get back to you. THANK YOU! I'm so excited to see what you and Jackie have coming.
