Aside from a few things that need tidied up to make your life easier, I wouldn't change a thing...the old girl is perfect! This kind of T is way more interesting than a 99-point show car.

Love the concept of his build, turning an impractical TT into a drivable vehicle...I would do the same if it were mine...Who wants to cruise around at 16 mph? Or spend the money on compound gearing and loss of power through increased resistance, just to go faster...change the rear axle is the best solution! If you are going to pleasure drive it, you do not need the 7.25 or even the rare hi speed rear end...glad this was posted, so other TT enthusiasts can see another option.

SUPER!! The Model T version of Johnny Cash's One Piece at a Time Cadillac. And saw the Goodyear blimp so if something happened it could give you a "lift". 😁

What a really cool truck and a neat story too. Would love to see it all dolled up one day.

That's awesome! A pieced together old truck is the best.

That is a great old truck and a cool project. I just stumbled upon this vid so going to watch the whole series.
I first discovered your channel because of your Falcon. Was working on a similar car.

Cool video!! So is that 18 mph max speed with the aux in OD? I always thought that was the downfall of the TT's.
I like the general look and good luck with future improvements..

Agreed...it looks cool as is...but if you could get some more speed and brake performance - maybe suspension too - out of it, it would be a great 'sleeper'..lol. Very cool. Like the color too...navy plus rust and dirt.

It would go 22 in overdrive. Better, but not much better.

I’m not a TT expert, but that looks like a conversion from a car, based on the differential. That sure looks like a car differential, not a TT worm drive differential. Am I missing something?

Nice upgrades. I never would have thought of putting a Model A rear in one. Any idea how fast it goes? I have a ‘26 T Roadster and am looking to buy a TT here locally. I noticed yours has ‘26-‘27 pedals.

    • @onewhocollects6781
      @onewhocollects6781  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Cool. It has 3.78 gears so in direct drive, it will cruse at 30-35 MPH which is about as fast as I want to go with it. Yep, even though it has an earlier transmission it has the later pedals anyway.

Every time Ideal with undergrow these two lines come to mind...
'You can chase after nature with a pitch fork
But it always comes roaring back again.''

Whistlindiesel just released a video of him destroying a 1917 Ford model T which made me sick.
And the reason reason why is my dad wanted one of these since he was a child second the car made it this long just to be destroyed by a moron
But by its comments people seem to like destruction. The car being a symbol of what hardships people been through its sad
If only the young generation knew that some people walked to where they needed to go paved roads did little to non existent so owning something like that was a blessing
