I just don’t get why HUGO is even hesitating to wave Primeau at this time. Primeau won’t fetch you more than a third anyways and we have tons of draft picks. I think this team needs to get a message, they need to know management is serious about growing this team now and not just linger for another 5years.
Wave Primeaui f need be, I don't think there is any hidden ability that is waiting to breakout. Give Fowler a full 3 years unless he needs the challenge , that gives the team time to find a coach and or players that know how to get it done in the defensive zone.
Laval got hurt with a couple injuries and call up to Habs that hurt the team core as playing as a team they have NHL caliber coaching in LaBelle and they don't have NHL caliber coaching in the NHL plain and simple in watching the games

Only thing that can fix the habs is changing the entire coaching staff and management staff. BOston and rangers got rid of Goeton after prospects and picks were restocked , mtl should follow suite. Gorton and hughes only spot guys with skill , not guts and they are terrible at trading. Time to change it and take the next step or we will stay in rebuild mode till we do change them

This is a nonsensical comment. Goeff Molson hired Hughes and Gorton two years ago to rebuild the team. They have been working on it for about two years. They have kind of a 5-year plan. So we have to wait and watch what Hughes and Gorton will do in the next two to three years. Molson will not fire these guys now or next year. Everybody, forget about a change of management. This will not happen. He will stick with them until their plan fully unfolds. If they are not successful within three to four years, then he will proceed to modify again the higher-ups. Only a “black swan” event will force Molson find other managers. So eat your bitterness and be patient.

Somebody in the league has to be dumb enough to take barron and newhook in a trade ffs , Hughes cant be the only 1 stupid enough to trade for them
