Aspen Plus: Designing Heat Exchanger by the Tool EDR Exchanger Feasibility

  • In this video we use the Tool EDR Exchanger Feasibility to design a heat exchanger.
    10000 kg/h of an equimolar binary mixture of ethanol and acetic acid is to be heated from 20 °C to 60 °C. Hot water will be used as heat source medium. The temperature of the water is 80 °C. The temperature difference between the cold and hot medium in the heat exchanger must not fall below 10 °C. The pressure loss must not exceed 0.1 bar on both the cold medium side and the hot medium side.

    Thank you always! then after finished the 'accept design' in EDR, do we need to change calculation mode "Design" to "Raing"?

      @@omareljisr1220 Hello, unfortunately I have not yet simulated a case with sewage sludge. I know that the pyrolysis of sewage sludge works technically, but the gasification is not certain
