    I wish my rheumatologist would spend more than 5 or 10 minutes with me. She updates her computer and renews my Humira prescription. See you in 6 months. Almost worthless. A monkey could do her job. I’ve started taking supplements and have gone to an anti inflammatory diet. Dr Gundry and Dr Berg are saying many of the things in this video. I’m feeling much better and have lost some weight too. It’s a permanent change in lifestyle though. If you care about your health you need to take personal responsibility and take it seriously. We are killing ourselves with processed foods.

      Hi Peter, yes we need more doctors to look at the root cause of illnesses.
      I am deeply interested in natural therapies. On an emotional level... arthritis is connected to resentment. Always if I am talking to someone who is telling me they have arthritis I ask if they are holding resentment and the answer is always yes.
      Take a moment to ask yourself that question...am I holding resentment...when did it start...does that correlate with the time my arthritis started (or connected symptoms) and then find ways to work through those emotions.
      As we let go of trapped emotions we also help our body to heal...as emotions are also held in our cells...so as we heal them we start to heal our cells. (Along with eating foods that heal and nourish our cells at the same time)
      I hope this helps.
      With warmest regards and healing vibes, Sarah 🙂

Both Boswellia and Bromelain help more than 50 percent for me if I take them with a predominantly wholefood plant based diet, lean poultry/fish whenever I eat them about 4-5 times per week, ceylon cinnamon sticks brewed into teas, about 1 1/2 tbs of fresh ginger in smoothies or more amount brewed as teas, over 64 ounces of water throughout the day (without the risk to my organs drinking too much within one sitting), multiple avocados per week, sauerkraut multiple days per week, about 2 tsp of iodized sea salt in about a cup of water, 8-9 hours of sleep and vitamins C and D.

    Why do all doctors says things are uncurable? We don’t know what the future holds. They should word this as ‘as of now, we don’t know how to cure it’. The people who fall through the cracks are those of us who cannot work because of a [suspected] autoimmune disease, since exhaustion from stress (work causes stress) and the condition itself. If one cannot work, one does not have the large amounts of money to see a [good & competent] doctor to get all the tests done. Assuming it's a competent doctor. Government insurance will not give you a good doctor. And all the changes in environment and diet also cost money that poor people do not have.

      Yess ! I have dealt with burnout for a few years now and I am considering working part time. I’m so tired every month for many years since I was a teen and the past 2 months I’ve been consistently sick. I haven’t gone to a good holistic doctor yet but I’ve had a consultation and the cost is very high. I’m willing to pay but I need to save more since insurance doesn’t cover it. I get all my information from doctors like Dr. Jin and many others and follow their guidance. I definitely don’t sleep 8 hours a day or eat healthily enough but I’m trying to do my best. If conditions don’t change, I am definitely going to the doctor again. I have had my metabolic panel checked and I paid out of pocket because these tests are not checked by my primary physician.

    Number one cause of ALL autoimmune diseases, which I treated during my 42 yr. medical practice, is adrenal fatigue/failure. Insufficient cortisol to degrade T-lymphocytes after a stress response/injury/infection turns our immune response loose on our own tissues. QED.

      I have autoimmune now from a trauma and cortisol spike that would not shut off. I almost lost my daughter in the hospital after a standard procedure. So I didn’t sleep for months, I thought I was dying, lost 25 lbs and was already thin, started having anxiety and heart issues., low thyroid. Finally went to a nutritionist who put me on Paleo I was already eating clean; no sugar, caffeine, gluten or dairy before seeing her. I got in therapy, started gaining weight and practiced better sleep rhythms. I’ve now gained 22 lbs back but it took a year and a half. I can now exercise without fear of loosing weight, which helps with my energy & sleep. I still don’t do caffeine because I believe that messes with my nerves, makes me buzz inside And adrenals

I've done this several times when towards the end of my 42 yr busy, stressful medical practice, seeing up to 100 patients a week and suffering from an undiagnosed CPTSD since childhood. Any chronic stress/anxiety condition will wear out our adrenals, as well as the cells in our nervous system that make the feel-good chemicals:dopamine, endorphins, etc., and they will require stress management and a rebuild. i have been diagnosed with MS 15 years ago and I recovered greatly following a Paleo diet. My ex-wife 2 years ago complained a lot about my illness preventing us to travel around as much as she wished and it was wasting ger life and as you can imagine that would be stressful to hear which caused my MS to come back at full force. 1 year ago my ex left me with our 2 boys 10 and younger which added to my stress and increased MS symptoms and it took time to reduce the stress but MS recovery wasn't happening on the paleo until I switched to high fat, low carb ketovore. that is high fat carnivore with eating low carb (cooked asparagus, pressure cooked cabbage or cauliflower to get rid of as much oxolates) high fat grass fed meat and grassfed liver. wild caught salmon, grass fed butter (make sure you are not reacting to milk proteins ) 100 mg magnesium glycinate before bed, 100 mg magnesium citrate twice a day with meals as stool changes moving away to low fiber. magnesium citrate helps with bowel movement. daily Sun bath when possible for 15 minutes on front and back of body and 5000 iu d3 daily, 5 grams of pink Himalayan salt or redmond salt with 1/3 tsp of potassium citerate to balance electrolytes with 2 liters of water daily.
      2 months and not only did my MS recovery improve than before, brain fog which i gave had since as early as middle school, bladder issue having to wakeup multiple times a night gone, dragging out of bed is gone. I hear the alarm and i can immediately get out of bed. all that happened 2 months after i switched to this diet.
      i had to give up all fruit, honey, any form of sugar, coffee and teas.
      it took a month for all carb cravings to go away. you have to fight the cravings and have the will to do it until these bacteria or any candida to die off. as they die the cravings increase until they are gone

    OMG, this is incredible. I have Graves’ disease and T2 diabetes, I think I was diagnosed at stage 2 in late 2022 . Told my doctor to give me 3 months to do my thing. So I did intermittent fasting and started walking at least 3 miles 4-5 days a week but I tried to walk more when I can. 3 mos later my graves went into remission and I didn’t need my meds also put my diabetes in a prediabetic level which as of today I’m working on lowering it to a normal number. I know it can happen and you just solidified those thoughts in my mind, thank you so much for this. Oh I also revamped my diet , I still eat everything I want but just more quality and less of the unwanted ones like sugar, carbs, no seed oils ever again.

      @@savreensidhu7887 hello Mr/Ms Sidhu. I did intermittent Fasting , I did it slowly in the beginning. I started with 12 hrs no food just water and I will stop eating at 6 pm everyday no matter what , then I slowly trained my mind to do 18 hr IF, 6 days a week and the remaining one day, I eat more than one meal with some little snacks. Eventually when my mind got used to IF I introduced a 36 hour fast nothing but water every 10 days and I'm working now to do it once a week . Regarding foods I just avoided anything white like foods made of flour like pasta, bread, noodles, cakes and pastries . I only eat half a cup of rice with my meal during my eating hours and if I need a snack I eat fruits or eggs anything that will help me feel full , I even snack on sardines in olive oil. Drink lots of clean water . I stopped eating gmo'd food products only organic and grass finished meats and veggies. Also eating fermented foods and I drink kefir everyday to strengthen my gut micro biome coz I have an auto immune disease. All in all I eat whatever I like that's sensible and clean meaning less chemicals in the foods and lots of exercise, water , and sleep . I also have sleep apnea. I'm still learning and experimenting and researching because I vowed to fight this evil diseases til I take my last breath. No one deserves to suffer but we need to learn how to fight our health issues correctly and so far I'm still doing ok. My Graves is still in remission as of my last check up 2 weeks ago but I'm working on my even further lowering my AIC. Goodluck to you Sir/ Mam May God be with you in your health journey and if there's anything else please don't hesitate to comment me again.

    Well said Dr Sung!!! I am impressed. Yes I do struggle with 2 autoimmune issues-1 is in remission. The other-is has gotten reduced to the point I went from 30 units of insulin a day down to now 10 or less total a day. I was alternating off of insulin a few years ago and at that point I was cautious but took 2-3 units a day total eating no flour but almost normal...an apple a day, chickpea pasta, etc and alternating off of insulin. Yes, I do have info and proof but a chiro messed me up and it has been a long haul backing out of that tunnel....do doing better now but I would like to be back to where I saw those incredible results.

    13:55 Those were very low doses, IMO. Imagine the results if adequate doses of vitamin D would be. Also, soy is a but problematic. Another huge bit of key information is the amount of daily sun and locations of study participants.
    Ivermectin works on coronaviruses. Personally, I think viruses are parasites. Viruses often trigger autoimmune flare-ups.
    Lyme disease is often resistant and under-diagnosed.
    You are absolutely correct on all of the topics you've raised. As for practitioners not giving the patient enough time for a thorough exam, you are spot on! Patients should be scrutinized, studying their nails, skin and hair. Take photos if possible, to document changes.
    Lastly, to all prescribing practitioners: please stop throwing NDAIDS at your patients. Actually LISTEN to them.

    • @sarahtheorme
      @sarahtheorme 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      There are sections of amino acids (the building blocks of protein) in milk and gluten that resemble protein in tissues in the body. If you have increased intestinal permeability ('leaky gut') these amino acid sequences can leak from the gut into the bloodstream and potentially provoke an immune reaction that then can cause an immune response to the similar tissue in your body. You don't want that. Gluten also tends to open up the tiny gaps between cells in the gut wall which can potentially exacerbate this.

    They say osteoarthritis isn't an autoimmune disease. I understand how it happens. Wear on the cartilage, rubbing, etc. However, I do not agree with why it happens. It doesn't make sense to me. The way you're supposed to treat the disability is basically exactly how you got the disability. Does not make any sense to me. That makes me feel its a nutritional or gut health reason. Something causes the body not to lubricate the joint/cartilage. And to me the "theory" that we can't regrow cartilage also makes no sense to me. If it can't grow, then you're telling me the cartilage around the bones/joints was full size since birth & it just spreads out as the bones grow from infant to adult? Or the cartilage grew in size since infantcy to adulthood. Something caused it to grow. And if it grew before then it should be able to grow again. It's not teeth. We just can't seem to figure out how to regrow it yet.

    • @faithpeacelove
      @faithpeacelove 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That “something that causes the body not to lubricate the joint/cartilage” for one, is not stretching. When tightness builds up in the body and in your muscles it puts pressure and strain on the surrounding joint, tendons and ligaments. Causing the wear and tear to the joint. Inactivity and tightness underpin this manifestation. Also for women, a lack of estrogen in perimenopause and menopause contributes to OA. These lower hormone levels increase inflammatory proteins known to contribute to OA.

    • @venom999333
      @venom999333 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@faithpeacelove I was told mine was caused by repetitive movements. Bending, twisting, stepping up, stepping down. Basically my work. Those movements are basically stretching & being active. I also weight train 3-4 days a week. I also do road cycling. I am quite active & incorporate a lot of stretching. My physio therapist told me the treatment for OA was basically bending, twisting, step up, step down. Not literally but that is basically what I'm supposed to do. The EXACT reason how I got it is exactly how I'm supposed to rehab it!
      Everything I do in the gym is excellent for treating OE. So this is why I don't believe it is a wear & tear over time issue. Because I have been treating OE long before I ever got OE. My diet over the years hasn't been the greatest. This makes more sense to me than physical activities or lack of activities

      If a person from the age they were born moved biomechanically correct and strengthen all their muscles and tendons preventing imbalances, I believe this person would not get arthritis. Arthritis seems to be a load management problem. When the joint can’t handle the given load over many years the body stabilizes it by building out the bone and decreasing the cartilage. I’m not a doctor though.

    • @faithpeacelove
      @faithpeacelove 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@nsiebenmor Yes! Exactly. Plus some areas of the body do not necessarily bear a constant load and develop arthritis anyway i.e. finger joints. This goes back to my point about consistent stretching, avoiding obesity, and maintaining an active lifestyle. Which ties in with your point about moving biomechanically correct and preventing IMBALANCES. Stretching will help prevent imbalances. Especially when a person is frequently undergoing physical activity. A lot of people skip this piece because they can't "see" the results. In my experience, sadly, many doctors aren't trained in the anatomy this way (preventing physical imbalances) because the medical model is allopathic medicine -- you have a symptom, here's a prescription - but there are some well trained and intelligent physiotherapists and registered massage therapists, as well as athletes in the body building space, who understand these principles.

    The problems with diets for health issues is if you omit foods when you have multiple issues your not able to eat anything but sunshine and suck air.
    If you have adult diabetes
    High cholesterol
    RA
    Osteoarthritis
    Reiters
    GERD
    diverticulitis
    Allergy to nuts
    Anxiety
    Depression
    PTSD
    Neuropathy
    Irregular sleeping
    Fatigue
    Limited physical ability due to disability.
    Cold enduced asthma
    Sinus/allergies
    And then omit the foods you shouldn't eat due to causing flare-ups, or due to cholesterol, and then items such as
    ex: rice and it's possible arsenic levels, tomatoes being bad for those with arthritis, fruits being limited due to glucose, etc. The cost to have tests done alone will put someone on disability into debt.
    How are you suppose to find a diet plan that will fit that?

      There is much you can do if willing to work with someone outside the allopathic system. Yes, it will be a financial investment, and it will take time. Any elimination diet is to provide the body time to heal while incorporating healing strategies. ‘If you stick your finger in your eye, the eye cannot heal until you remove the finger.” Some foods will never be healthy/appropriate to add back, like grains/wheat. Sadly, many are unwilling to take this journey, and often fight for their limitations. ‘Ya, butt’ syndrome. Best wishes to you in your healing. 💕

    Vitamin D is important, but misunderstood badly. Measuring the storage form is not enough. Measuring it without measuring retinol is not enough since they are supposed to be balanced about 10-1 in favor of retinol, just like nature delivers it. Low storage D is often associated with HIGH ACTIVE D, but you don't know this if you don't measure it. Active D goes high due to high oxidative stress environments. Look into what Morley Robbins has dug up in his 10,000+ hours of reading the scientific literature.
    It could be that the toxic iron filings dumped in the food supply, a form never seen naturally in food, is driving oxidative stress and poisoning cells, which might just trigger what people think of as autoimmune symptoms.
