Ladies, you don’t necessarily need that much medicine. I have done fine with just ordinary paracetamol 🤷🏻♀️ I’m now day 5 post op. And yes the first 2 were painful and mostly spend in bed, the 3rd with more sitting and walking and the 4th I was back at work. 😊
Wow this is some procedure. I met a lady who had a fat transfer to her breast after breast cancer. It was absolutely beautiful. I had just had a mastectomy at the time and decided to go flat. I’m glad I did. This procedure is not for me. I’m glad I watched this video. I never knew what kind of procedure it was. Thanks for a great video. You are a really good doctor.
Certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (different from lymphatic massage), and I want to STRONGLY encourage patients to be treated by this 3 times WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK post-op. Ideally the first day after surgery/transfer, and then 2 more times within that first work. This will help the body to recover faster - reducing swelling, reducing puckering, reducing the chance of seromas, and helping the body to move out the tons of meds you were given prior to and during the surgery. Make sure whoever you go to is certified and licensed to do this! Vodder technique is best, in my experience.
Some people say you have to wear the Compression garment otherwise the skin doesn't re-attach and will end up with track marks permanently from the cannula 🤷🏻♀️
far out! my provider massaged me heavily to push the fluids through the holes just the day after surgery and I was sent for more massages ASAP.. but I only did one, as I got scared to keep pushing the bruised, numb, sore areas.. and simply can't sleep properly with the garments on (although prescribed to wear them 24/7 for 2weeks), so I just listen to my body instead of following blindly

Hello Dr where can I get a this medicines after my fat transfer? I found a few products at Amazon but not same brand do you have a link.. do you recommend buy before procedure or after?
I got it done 320cc each breast in June and lost all the fat in one month only..i thought at least 50% will survive. The fat taken out was also good as per doctor..I do not know what went wrong :(
it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to contact us at www.drdanielbarrett.com/virtual-consultation/. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
What’s the most CCs you can transfer to the breast??? I have gone to a consultation and I feel like 250cc is very little. If I go to other consultations I would more likely get different numbers.
it depends on a number of factors. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Hello Aimee, I am here watching this video, because I will have my fat transfer procedure done in April and I am trying to get informed about it. I will get it done to correct the tubular breast deformity that I have. So yes, it can be done on tb :) you can check Dr. Sidney R. Coleman articles. That was recommended to me by my doc. :)
@@marthajohnson3250 hey thank you for letting me know. I’m in the UK so I’ll have to do some research about getting that done here. I can’t wait to get them done now I just have to wait for the money😂
@@karlem7757 hello Karlem 😊 thanks for asking. Well... It all happened the last 27th of April. It went well first the doctor did the liposuction, I am a bit slim so she planned to take the fat from my knees and outter thighs. She told me she managed to put 200cc in each breast (she was happy she was not expecting to find so much fat😊). Then she told me she proceeded to correct the deformity with some incisions inside and outside the breasts. Then she transferred the fat and that was it. I stayed one night in the clinic but generally the person can leave the same day. . With regards to the after surgery period, it was painful I should say mostly in the donor sites (the liposuction sites). I did not have pain in the breasts, but it was more like an uncomfortable feeling. I stayed in bed for a week and started working (from home) in 7 to 8 days. And now after a month, I feel better in both sites. My breasts are looking good. Have in mind that in my case it is not about the volume, I wanted to just have that corrected. And they are looking good 😭😍. They are where they should be. They are rounded. They are cute. The doc told me I need up to 6 months to see the final shape and results. After that I can consider to increase the size with an implant (I am not excited about the implant, but I do not have anymore fat to take 😖). In general I can tell you that I feel I was one bef3and one after. I feel so different. I feel normal (and that's sad, because it is not that there was something bad about me you know), I feel way better with myself. I totally recommend. My advice, try to find a doctor that you can trust and explain everything well to you. I love my doctor she has been all the way with me and she understands very well the impact of her work in the emotional and mental health of her patients. So yeah, if you are thinking of getting a surgery like that done, I would totally recommend 🌻😊
@@marthajohnson3250 hello I’m curious to know how much of the fat transfer stayed? I’ll be having this procedure done but my Dr said he can only put 100cc in each breast. He said if he adds too much that less fat will survive.
Dr Barrett, is it true that the amount of fat cells on our body including our face are pre-detemined at birth and just increase or decrease in size throughout our life depending on our diet or exercise/lifestyle? So when we lose fats from our face, we will not get it back anymore? And when we do tummy tuck, only the fat cells that are left behind will increase or decrease in size depending on lifestyle but will not increase in quantity? When we transfer fat cells to our breasts, those that do not die will increase or decrease in size, not increase in number by multiplying? If it is too complicated to reply here, please make a video on this cos there seems to be a lot of confusion about fats. Thanks. x
No fat stores are also allocated due to hormones. This is why after menopause women lose fat on thighs and breasts (loss of estrogen) and gain on stomach (androgens)
I'm glad I found your channel. Thanks so much for the information. I'm living in Japan and I'll be doing my fat transfer to breast next week.

I think the lipolitic enzymes (lipase) from the Masszyme, could kill the fat transfer cells, it could be possible?
