    I love how you explains, very professional. I had a upper/Lower abdominal liposuction done and I am on day 11, I wish I had done it before, it doesn’t really hurts is just a little bit uncomfortable wearing the gargment or faja. My question is : does the use of this affects the final results? The body will look better wearing this? Some people saying to wearing for 3. Months for better results, for me is very uncomfortable I can’t sleep. I will appreciate your answer. Thanks.

      I understand your concern. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors.

    Thank you for this video! I feel so much better hearing this! I had a 360 lipo 7 days ago and it still hurts like hell! I still need my husband to help me get out of bed! I believe the reason I got so bad, is that my surgeon put me in a very small garment, I can’t even breathe and my whole body is heavily bruised and swollen. I changed 3 different pain killers and nothing helps me! I’m definitely going to order a bigger size garment and some of the stuff you recommended.

      Your first one shouldn't be so tight that it is messing up your body. You can get burns that way as well. They should have measured you before surgery to determine the right size. Only after some time should you switch to a diff garment. It varies. Some ppl say switch to stage 2 within a cpl weeks, some switch within days. It depends. I still rotate my original with a state 2 I bought. Bc the original is looser though, I wrap around a tummy tuck wrap over it as well. But yea anyway, sorry you went through that. And yes it hurts like hell the first week. Ugh

    • @LR-bt9ep
      @LR-bt9ep 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Absolutely. ... no clue why some dr say not to. It really really helps, physically and mentally. When the drainage started to slow, I'd get my massage, and be leaking within mins. You need to get all that stuff out. But also, it helps smooth out lumps and bumps. Yes you can do yourself, but gd luck with trying to stomach through the pain of doing so. It's diff doing it alone. Not to mention can't do your back.

    I have a question for my ex. She had the lipo 360 and Dr said to wear this garment that’s extremely tight fitting for 3 months that he sells to patients for $500.. I dropped out of med school to pursue a business venture. From my time in med school, There is no legitimate medical support that states a compression/faja will affect the outcome of a properly performed procedure. However, in terms of relieving discomfort and possibly healing a little faster sure. I know that you can’t go offering medical advice to public audiences for obvious reasons.. But as an opinion, from your knowledge/experience, if a compression garment and those massages that over 90% of surgeons push to sell, necessary and affect the outcome of a liposuction procedure? If a person doesn’t wear a garment and doesn’t have the ‘lymphatic massages’, could that possibly affect the aesthetic result? My understanding is that lymphatic massages are only needed/beneficial for patients with medical needs that do call for them
