thank you - this was v helpful. I had lipo on my chest and belly 9/27/21and my dr said after 2 weeks post surgery find someone who does lymph massage. I made an appt with him, but this video helps a lot because i can start on my own.
I wanted to thank you for this channel, it's very informative and the way you present everything is calming and easy to follow and understand. I can get a bit tired of some medical TH-camrs who are trying to be funny or upbeat all the time, I'm sure that works for lots of people but I like your way better. 💜
Thank you so much for uploading this video. I have been so nervous about attempting self lymphatic massage on myself since my surgery and could only find videos on generalised lymphatic massage. Your video is very clear and informative, and your calm persona made for easy viewing, it has given me the confidence to do this myself and in only 3 days I have noticed a huge difference in my swelling. Again, thank you so much for this video!
Thank you so much this has helped me drain out the liquid. I am pleased with your video as for my torso feels a lot better. I haven’t had a drainage and I am a week into my lipo 360
Thank you for all your videos. I wish I found you before my experience but do recommend you to everyone. Your knowledge is a gift to all of us and you cover everything that we need to know. I did have liposuction when I had my reconstruction surgery. Thank you again for your knowledge.

Way better than a massage device pounding up and down on those areas. I found that by doing the latter it felt worse the next day. Do you recommend any heating or icing?

Good afternoon. Thank you so kindly for your videos. They are so instructive. I have one question: I am cut along the bikini line. How does this interfere with drainage from my tummy tuck and lipo?
Could you make a video explaining a lymphatic massage for a tummy tuck PO? It is so difficult to find someone to do it correctly, and without a proper massage, there is no relief. Thank you 🙏🏼 I love your videos because you not only explain well but I also learn from them.
This is the way the limphodema specialists dose mine and I'm 7 weeks post op tummy tuck. Rubs my back and side and everything above the belly button up to the armpits. Hope that helps
Your videos are very informative. I have learned a lot in a short period. But, do you have videos where you are performing massages on someone else? this would be very helpful for ultrasound cavitation clients.
How does Edema work if you fell over and your varicose veins took a beating. I have Edema in a narrow band at my ankles.I watched your video and I will follow you.one thing I did notice was I felt fantastic after doing my whole body AND I am 78. So thank you very much. and one final question what made me feel 100% ???
Hey, thank you for the video, very informative, I have a question if you don’t mind answering , i came across other videos in which some people claim that after tummy tuck and lipo you should move hands upwards as the cut from the incision works as a “bridge “ and stops the water going down to the lower part, would you say it is true or not? 😘
I had a gyno lipo surgery one year ago. The results are amazing but I still have a small lymph node on my left chest. Is it possible to make it go away with a proper massage? Or it’s not possible because it’s after one year?
Generally how much "time" in each area should be given? plz, so I may know truly know what the time line may be with my treatment. I've had bad experiences.
Thank you for your video. How do you place the client when you do the lower back, hip and glutes? Do you constantly change client position? That is my concern.
hello not sure this is a question answer but giving a try. 12 years ago I had 35 lymph nodes removed for uterin cancer. Then just 41/2 years another 25 lymph nodes removed under my right arm. I have had massive lymph swelling but with a therapist it has been going down out of my rib cage and legs. I'm still having trouble with the right arm and under right and some in center of my chest. I'm told the drain is in uppr chest??? I just came on this bunch of videos so I'm working through them. I hope to get to the pool and do those. I at times thought I would make worse in the pool. My major trouble now is I have degenerative disc and spinal stenosis causing aweful numbness to feet and legs. Now SL joint also coming involved. Thank you for allowing comment.
Hi. I am a massage therapist some years . lymphatic drainage isnt requested all that much. i have treated a couple of people after liposuction on stomach and legs. in a few fays i will treat someone after a tummy tuck and leg treatment. any tips of what not to do. im thinking just work above the area of stitchs. can i still drain to the Inguinal nodes? can you recommend a sequence? normally i would start on the stomach but in this situation would i treat it last and very carefully? Great video, thank you for sharing the information. Just had Lipo on upper arms and thighs both inner and outer. Is this type of massage just as good as dry brushing post Lipo? Can this be done over compression garments or does the massage have to be done directly on skin? Thanks!
Thank you! Ohhh is it common to have a little swelling to your ankles after Lipo? I’m talking about this happened only 7/8 days after the Lipo. And yes, I started post/Op drainage the following day after surgery. No dizziness or any syncope at all. Little dizzy only after the Local anesthesia. Looking forward for your response. Thank you.
Hi, you're saying that any swelling below the belly button area you push to groin lymph nodes. When there's a cut after surgery do you still follow this? I thought that because there's a cut and an original path has been 'destroyed', we should change direction? Like anything above the cut goes to armpits, anything below the cut goes to groins. Anybody with any advice? I am very confused. Cheers
What if the person had a tummy tuck? I heard that the quadrant bellow the belly buttons is eliminated as the skin above the belly button is pulled down. And the it has to be drained upwards. Is that true? Thank you
I tried this & now I have hard lumps in the front of my belly. Is this normal? I didn't have this before the massage & it caused fluid to flow down into my groin area. The swelling there has gone down but the lumps are still there.
Thank you for video. Question. What if my both underarm lymph nodes are destroyed by hidradenitis suppurativa? What direction massage lines should be to reduce swelling after upper back and breast lipo?
Thank you so much for this video. I have a question. Can this massage be extremely painful? The clinic I am going For a bbl offers 3 post op massages but everybody is telling me that it's so painful, that some people pass out. They aggressive drained the fluid and reopen incisions so it comes out.
My Surgeon told me not to massage, and its been a week now and i have little bumps. I have started massage today thats after a week. Do u think those lil bumps would disappear. They are not big, but the surface is not even either. I have been using a binder as advised by my doc.
I had laser lipo 2 weeks ago. I'm still very swollen and retaining a lot of fluids. My doctor wants me to wait for 1 month before I can start lymphatic massages....I'm not sure why but I feel like that's a long time
Hello dear, laser lipo can be done with lymphatic massage but laser lipo is not lymphatic massage. Also, you have to really increase your water intake Atleast 2 liters a day so you can get ride of the toxins. You won’t see proper results without hydration
