I had my surgery in Switzerland two weeks ago and the pain medication I did was just paracetamol and ibuprofen for 10 days and I felt no pain whatsoever. The sleeping part is the hardest for me as I am a side sleeper. I managed for these weeks to sleep on my back but yesterday I turned by accident for like a second and it hurt! I have felt so many weird sensations that come and go and the stress is insane because I never know for sure what’s normal or not. Tomorrow I have my third post op appointment and I can’t wait to get a confirmation that everything is good. ❤

Going to try the arnica as you recommended, as well as my surgeon recommended… I love how you also mentioned fish oil and vitamin e to help reduce risks of capsular contracture! Thank you so much!! Thank you Dr for this informative video. I found out I have DCIS a couple of months ago and need a mastectomy in my left side. I don’t want silicone implant because I fear my body rejects foreign objects and/or require future surge. I heard fat grafting option from my consultation and I’m hopeful. Doing more research, getting more information, and learning more about procedures and recovery before making a decision. Thank you!

Aw! Father YHWH God -- being in prayer and scripture was POWERFUL to help me overcome anxiety and feelings of regret. I had to have a BA and lift revision. After the initial surgery, the lower pole skin, under the nipple, drooped! The implants stayed up . Upper pole was nice, but the side poles were flat, like the sides of a square and then skin under the nipples drooped!🤦‍♀️ I appreciate my surgeon. The body is NOT an exact science. How can anyone know how each body (skin, muscle, tissue) is going to react. His staff were wonderful and I know all gave me the best care. I'm 48, few months shy of 49. My skin looks like the skin of a healthy 25 year old. It is very odd. Very soft, beautiful color, yet after having our second child I had to be stationary and put on a lot of weight. Took me a long time, but lost it and was left with sagging arm, tummy and inner thigh skin. My PS took it off. Then I needed help with my breasts bc they looked worse than most geographic documentary tribe women! Seriously, they drooped horribly, nipples facing directly to the ground. Everything stretched out like a deflated balloon. I worked out daily and ate like an Olympian, yet my body did not respond in kind. After the initial BA and lift, the skin wasn't good to me. Now with the revision-- I got deeply depressed and ashamed. Thoughts of maybe I should have kept my geographic boobs... the revision appeared square now. Holy CRAP! I'm in 2nd week and praise The Father-- they're starting to find their way into a nice round shape. My challenge is finding a bra that is comfortable while supporting the sides to encourage round poles. Im looking at wireless bras that have built in side support. Anyone have an ideas that can help me find the best bra or perhaps not wear one at all yet?
The implants - initial surgery and revision- tend to want to stay up. Drop some, but like remaining up. They are under the muscle and called gummy near sientras. I am 2 weeks post op. Thank you (if ya stayed reading this long one, I appreciate your time immensely).🙏🥰🌞

I understand your concern. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors.

are antibiotics really necessary? Why disrupt the micro biome when it’s well known and accepted that a single dose of intra-op ancef is sufficient? I know that so many plastic surgeons prescribe them probably as a CYA thing, because I haven’t found any convincing evidence that oral antibiotics post operatively help reduce infection rates.

Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient.
When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.
Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.
Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.
You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

I have had a consultation and he recommended a 350 high profile but I have a wide chest and that size for sure will not make me happy at all. I said I wanted a 450 cc or 500cc. He soaid 500 cc will make me look thicker (fat)..Am so 😕 confused bcuz to my understanding a high profile is for a thin frame I have a wide chest. I told him I didn't want golf balls moving all over. I don't know like I said am sooooo confused.

@@anamorin9444 I’m 2 weeks post op right now and from my understanding (IM NOT A PROFESSIONAL) the profile differences have to do with projection. My suggestion is get another consultation. I went to a few before settling on my dr. They aren’t a one size fits all lol. My dr explained this to me bc I have a small chest (width) and it would keep them from like flattening or falling to the side or touching in the middle. Gah I just realized how hard this is to explain lol. Good luck with your search!! 😊
I apologize in advance if I’m incorrect. This is just how it was explained to me.

The only reason I reach out to you was because the dr. Who did this to me no longer does breast augmentation I see that women who have been botched and can't afford your surgery cost have no hope

Madam, Manual lymphatic drainage-Vodder is a great help in post-op even for Breast surgeries. The Vodder method isn't a massage
