I got one of these in the early 70's still have it and the "original" sheath. I have its "big brother" also 1960's approx. They look great together, side by side in their leather holsters. 🤗

Have that one and it was called a bird and trout knife when I got it. I was shopping for door prizes to give out at a WW Hunt and got the larger version as the prize but I couldn’t pass the mini up! It’s on my hip through most of the hunting season, pretty much a do it all blade for me.

I have this knife. My wife got it as part of a set with the larger version and their sheaths are piggy backed to each other.

I have a pre Min Finn Case Bird and Trout that Belonged to my late uncle It’s just stamped CASE no XX no dots or numbers but the ornate sheath is stamped Case XX It’s also stacked leather and polished what appears to be stainless Sheath is old style with cross snap Your knife is gorgeous btw I love your channel

Very fond of the traditional/more natural looking fixed blades, stacked leather, stacked bone and leather, birchwood, almost any wood. This is a very nice knife.
There were a couple of knives like this I was looking at including the Queen and RR, but opted to go to the higher end. No regrets. Thanks, JK.

Found my kabar 1226 minni in woods when i was 9yrs old. Fell off my bike and almost landed on it under dirt on trail. 52 now and still got it

I dont collect knives but it replaced a Kbar i bout in early 70s..great hunting fishing knife.great vidio.

I have my Uncle’s Case that size pre 60 just stamped CASE in block letters with no XX and an ornate XX sheath I have no idea what Case called them back then but I don’t think they adopted Min Finn until the 60s or later Anyway it’s a great little one to have and your knife is a beautiful little treasure It will be a treasure in a hundred years if it’s cared for That’s the beauty and value of a great well-made tool

This is the next knife I'm gonna buy (not that I don't have plenty already!) Figure I'll sell a few others on ebay to offset cost.. my only dilemma is whether to get this or the 2 blade lg/sm combo 🤔

Nice little fixed blade , it has a it of the Pukko to it . The sheath while nicely constructed is a bit complicated for my taste , I would feel like I was practicing
oragami , every time I drew or sheathed the knife . A tube sheath , similar to
that found on a true Pukko would have been nice but the guard ( there for
liability reasons I'm sure ) would make that difficult , so they gave you a
quasi tube sheath instead , keeping with the "Finn " theme .

That's a nice one. I have the bigger brother to that, the Case 365-5. I love leather stacked handles & Case does a great job on them with the high polish finish.

This is a very nice looking knife and I have a question about some of your other knives. The knives with the match strike mail nick, have your ever used them to actually strike a match and was wondering in your opinion which one worked best if you have tried it?
They work barely, none are worth depending on. The effort required you better have plenty of matches on hand. I have better success with the button on my jeans.

I've only ever heard it called the mini fin, so I can't say.
if only the blade was slightly wider nd thicker
Need a beefier build huh. This ones meant for smaller game, rabbit, birds, fish etc.
I am trying real hard not to go down the rabbit hole with these little knives and this did not help.....not at all.
