I am looking for a mattress right now, Avacado has been at the top of my list.... now I am so confused again. :( They say right on their website that it contains no polyester, etc.... so I wonder if they've changed things from three years ago? I'm so confused. I need someone who will do the white glove delivery so I can be sure I'm home and Avacado is one of the few who does that. Have they offered any sort of explanation to this video? Thank you!
Lack of transparency. Some people need a mattress that is "organic", as they have severe reactions to adhesives, polyurethanes, and such. This also explains the painfully hard feel of this mattress. Indeed, Avocado is not so transparent and honest as they would have you believe.
I would love to see a response from Avacado... it is really hard to buy something this expensive online.. want something organic that won't allergies or asthma... really confused after watching this vid. :(
FYI; they substitute a Talalay latex, when they had supply issues. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's not what they advertised and who knows what it's blended with.
Thank you for the review and disclosing the additional material. I'd be interested to see if some of those undisclosed materials are used as a fire barrier and/or if they are impregnated with any chemicals and/or heavy metals. When I asked about the Talalay that I saw with my own eyes, they were very evasive, then much later claimed that it was a manufacturing error. Avocado has lost all credibility with me. These synthetic materials may or may not be innocuous, but given their lack of transparency about these materials and deceptive advertising, I'll be returning mine... and it is a painfully hard, rather than firm, mattress.
@@tincou7694 I definitely would. You should try it. They offer 30 days to try it yourself, and if your dissatisfied, you can return it free of charge. Oh and their customer service is amazing! I sound like i work for them, lol.

I've had my Vegan Avacado mattress for five years now. I definitely preferred it over my recent Heavenly Mattress from Pottery Barn.
