@@SteamGracei hate to break it you, but people do learn from these. They won’t instantly be as good as awkward, but that’s because the improvement is from correctly applying knowledge. That’s how coaching works in an fps. Take general ideas and apply them to different situations while constantly thinking about what you’re doing.

@@jesusosorio3013 It certainly feels 90% of the time that Weaver players are simply trolling and pull just to mess up with the game. But most likely many of them just want to feel like they are being "useful" and that's the reason they use pull whenever they can. It's still really annoying though and most of the time just helps the enemy team more. The worst part is that sometime they get legit mad when you tell them not to pull if it's not absolutely necessary and switch to pure trolling mode.
its not climbing :D plat is max you gona get, if you want to go more, you need to play game 8hours a day minimum 7 days a week non stop for years with same hero to master it.. and master game.. :D
Me personally I’m not a tank player but following your advice from this video has helped me a lot as brig since she is like a mini rein in a way holding those corners really helps

Kinda unrelated but I wanted to give you props for your Ball U2GM. Even though you weren't satisfied with it, I found so much value and climbed from hardstuck masters to GM finally. Now I keep climbing and got early top 150! Your vid helped me notice so many mistakes that most Ball players don't really focus on in their content.

It’s pretty rough at the beginning as you get used to a new style of playing and sometimes you’re just going to get bad teams and feel like maybe it doesn’t work but I would try playing traditionally every now and then and it’s much worse. And also I don’t believe the four step plan on Kiriko is very good anymore after all the nerfs. Definitely do something similiar, flanking, damage, but wasting your suzu for yourself constantly is not ALWAYS the play anymore.
@@alexmaldonado2804 It was Kiriko, Moira, and Ana at the time. I get bored easily so it constantly switches. It really doesn’t matter you can hit GM with anyone. Except Mercy and Wifeleaver, that is if you want to keep your sanity. And Mercy is actually my favorite support to play lol. Bap is probably the easiest to climb with support-wise in terms of you can probably get the most value out of him with the least effort.
I'm pretty new to OV (started roughly two months ago). I was down at Bronze but managed to climb right to Silver 3 within a few days after watching a bit of this video. The going is tough, and I have to train out bad habits, but I'm learning.
Reinhardt, Doom, and ESPECIALLY Ball are the tanks I never touch simply because I'm crap with them. This makes me want to at least try. Another great video, Awkward. Mega chad for playing a character you feel you aren't the best with.

"eren" in the 3rd game is such an annoying personality, all they do is choose 1 target to call bad on their team, that person will now feel bad and do worse and in turn eren will throw.. what a loser
Rein is one of the best tanks in the game currently especially in lower ranks. Even in high ranks currently Sig, Rein, and Doom are probably the best. Sig is easily the most versatile right now. Rein is the best for brawl/rush. Doom is the best option when you need to dive because a lot of times Monkey just blows up.
@AngelaMaria-fs3dq it took 40 minutes om sure because he was already rank on the other roles so the game sorta knows where he should be at that's my guess I think if he used a fresh account for the reaper run it would have taken a bit longer
Id love to see a junker queen unranked to gm to see the diferences in how the two tanks tank. Dive is fairly intuitive so are the shield tanks to an extent but the more odd tanks like JQ and Roadhog are a bit harder to figure out.

i think the problem with widow is that people are just going to say that they can’t do what he does because of the aim and that it’s unfair etc. I’m pretty sure they do this everytime, and same goes for game sense and mechanical skills.

after watching 4 hours of this i decided to do my tank placements rein only. i’ve never really played rein much. i won 7/10 placement games and 5/7 wins i absolutely dominated following this advice, even enemy team saying tank diff a few times. thanks for content

I went from low gold to high plat in a week. Corners, corners, corners. When i do die i facepalm myself because i find myself away from my corner. I'm actually noticing that the teams are playing different as im approching diamond for the first time ever at any roll. I'm actually feeling imposter syndrome the higher i climb. People are aiming on mouse and keyboard while I'm on a controller. I don't know where ill stop climbing but i might be stuck playing Reinhardt if i can't play anyone else as competent.
in case people don't know WHY looking left and right increases the range: rein's hammer hitbox is a rectangular prism that faces the direction you are looking, so the beginning and end of the swing extend sideways from where you are looking forward
I never understood how exactly to play Rein. After watching a couple hours of this vid I gave it a try. In 3 games I had a game of 23 eliminations of 3 deaths. The concept explained in this video is easy to understand and easy to execute. Thanks!
I did all that you said, about space, but my team was so bad, My healers would actually leave me alone, the dps would overextend then die or would stay all the way at the back while im making space, we lose then blamed me, I asked if they took advantage of the space I gave, they simply ignored, which proves these people just blame Tank and don't know how to play
I will have a whole team pushing backwards and what does my team do? Heal a torb that’s full health sitting 40 meters away while all my dps just sit back with them and not with obj. I’m gold 5 with tank but am on a constant losing streak 😩 ik im not the best player but tanks def get blamed for everything

probably issue that's you not really used all the advices, try harder, watch reaplays, ask good players to watch ur replays and point out problems. But tl:dr you can't do anything about other players(you can try to 'call moves' in voice for them), but opportunities you gave them CAN be used, so more you do - more chances they use it. Also adapt in situations, example: if no one heal's you - try to not take dmg. In long run you'll climb
I noticed smt after re watch many of awkward ur to gm, he never let his ego take control, he did make mistakes and let lower rank player destroy him but he stand back up and not make the same mistake afterward. He also notice his teammates were all doing wrong things, but he didn't care and just do his job and that also awesome.

reinhardt earthshatter is a very strong ability because you cant really counter it, unless you have suzu, teleport, sleep, fortify, spear, doom punch, ice wall, ice block, boop, wall climb, double jump, bash lifeweaver pull, flower, fade, grapple, rock, bubble, drone, wraith or shield
what do i do if im creating off angles and attacking supports, but my team wont try and push in and do damage. every other game i just get a team that sits back and is too afraid to get aggressive so the plays i try to make dont work cus i die and my team hasnt moved at all.
gm rein here quick tip: ur shatters were mostly great but sometimes i felt u threw them out when the enemies were either at max range or could be peeled for by the tank/ healers

Been playing Rein since Beta and was a blast to see you play him. Landing firestrikes and aiming behind the tank at the enemy team...I'm assuming you'll mention I've just started.
Tank can be stressful when starting out, the only downtime is when you die. You need to learn a few tanks so you can switch between for more favorable match-ups. Goodluck.

@49:49 I had this exact scenario happen to me on Reinhardt where the enemy team has a bastion thats just shooting me the entire scenario. I went to try to make off angles like this but the enemy ana would sleep me mid charge, then nade me, then i'd fall over regardless of trying to make the off angle. This strat doesn't always work.
i totally understand and try to do what you say but sometime man.. i'm using my whole shield for my teammate and they don't kill anything .. at this point i'm not sure what to do or sometime there is just 1 genji or doomfist that solo dive my whole team and i apply your strat, ignore him and distracting their support as much as they can so they don't have any healing and yet somehow the genji/doomfist kill 2 and run away or kill 4 and at this point, it's when i don't know what to do .. do i go deal the guy that solo kill my whole team and leave the frontline therefore let the rest of the team go wild just to kill one guy obviously on paper, it's absolutely not worth

It certainly feels 90% of the time that Weaver players are simply trolling and pull just to mess up with the game.
But most likely many of them just want to feel like they are being "useful" and that's the reason they use pull whenever they can.
It's still really annoying though and most of the time just helps the enemy team more. The worst part is that sometime they get legit mad when you tell them not to pull if it's not absolutely necessary and switch to pure trolling mode.

Kinda unrelated but I wanted to give you props for your Ball U2GM. Even though you weren't satisfied with it, I found so much value and climbed from hardstuck masters to GM finally. Now I keep climbing and got early top 150! Your vid helped me notice so many mistakes that most Ball players don't really focus on in their content.

@@alexmaldonado2804 It really works. It’s pretty rough at the beginning as you get used to a new style of playing and sometimes you’re just going to get bad teams and feel like maybe it doesn’t work but I would try playing traditionally every now and then and it’s much worse.
And also I don’t believe the four step plan on Kiriko is very good anymore after all the nerfs. Definitely do something similiar, flanking, damage, but wasting your suzu for yourself constantly is not ALWAYS the play anymore.

Except Mercy and Wifeleaver, that is if you want to keep your sanity. And Mercy is actually my favorite support to play lol.
Bap is probably the easiest to climb with support-wise in terms of you can probably get the most value out of him with the least effort.
I'm pretty new to OV (started roughly two months ago). I was down at Bronze but managed to climb right to Silver 3 within a few days after watching a bit of this video. The going is tough, and I have to train out bad habits, but I'm learning.
Reinhardt, Doom, and ESPECIALLY Ball are the tanks I never touch simply because I'm crap with them. This makes me want to at least try.

Rein is one of the best tanks in the game currently especially in lower ranks. Even in high ranks currently Sig, Rein, and Doom are probably the best. Sig is easily the most versatile right now. Rein is the best for brawl/rush. Doom is the best option when you need to dive because a lot of times Monkey just blows up.
Tbh he took 40 min on reaper, tank overrall is in a harder place than dps or support
40 mins on reaper cut his mmr started him on masters tank he started in gold so he has 2 more elks to go through

Id love to see a junker queen unranked to gm to see the diferences in how the two tanks tank. Dive is fairly intuitive so are the shield tanks to an extent but the more odd tanks like JQ and Roadhog are a bit harder to figure out.

i think the problem with widow is that people are just going to say that they can’t do what he does because of the aim and that it’s unfair etc. I’m pretty sure they do this everytime, and same goes for game sense and mechanical skills.

after watching 4 hours of this i decided to do my tank placements rein only. i’ve never really played rein much. i won 7/10 placement games and 5/7 wins i absolutely dominated following this advice, even enemy team saying tank diff a few times. thanks for content

I'm actually noticing that the teams are playing different as im approching diamond for the first time ever at any roll. I'm actually feeling imposter syndrome the higher i climb. People are aiming on mouse and keyboard while I'm on a controller.
I don't know where ill stop climbing but i might be stuck playing Reinhardt if i can't play anyone else as competent.
in case people don't know WHY looking left and right increases the range: rein's hammer hitbox is a rectangular prism that faces the direction you are looking, so the beginning and end of the swing extend sideways from where you are looking forward
I never understood how exactly to play Rein. After watching a couple hours of this vid I gave it a try.
In 3 games I had a game of 23 eliminations of 3 deaths.
The concept explained in this video is easy to understand and easy to execute.

I did all that you said, about space, but my team was so bad, My healers would actually leave me alone, the dps would overextend then die or would stay all the way at the back while im making space, we lose then blamed me, I asked if they took advantage of the space I gave, they simply ignored, which proves these people just blame Tank and don't know how to play
I will have a whole team pushing backwards and what does my team do? Heal a torb that’s full health sitting 40 meters away while all my dps just sit back with them and not with obj. I’m gold 5 with tank but am on a constant losing streak 😩 ik im not the best player but tanks def get blamed for everything

probably issue that's you not really used all the advices, try harder, watch reaplays, ask good players to watch ur replays and point out problems. But tl:dr you can't do anything about other players(you can try to 'call moves' in voice for them), but opportunities you gave them CAN be used, so more you do - more chances they use it. Also adapt in situations, example: if no one heal's you - try to not take dmg. In long run you'll climb

I noticed smt after re watch many of awkward ur to gm, he never let his ego take control, he did make mistakes and let lower rank player destroy him but he stand back up and not make the same mistake afterward. He also notice his teammates were all doing wrong things, but he didn't care and just do his job and that also awesome.

reinhardt earthshatter is a very strong ability because you cant really counter it, unless you have suzu, teleport, sleep, fortify, spear, doom punch, ice wall, ice block, boop, wall climb, double jump, bash lifeweaver pull, flower, fade, grapple, rock, bubble, drone, wraith or shield

gm rein here quick tip: ur shatters were mostly great but sometimes i felt u threw them out when the enemies were either at max range or could be peeled for by the tank/ healers

@49:49 I had this exact scenario happen to me on Reinhardt where the enemy team has a bastion thats just shooting me the entire scenario. I went to try to make off angles like this but the enemy ana would sleep me mid charge, then nade me, then i'd fall over regardless of trying to make the off angle. This strat doesn't always work.

i totally understand and try to do what you say but sometime man.. i'm using my whole shield for my teammate and they don't kill anything .. at this point i'm not sure what to do or sometime there is just 1 genji or doomfist that solo dive my whole team and i apply your strat, ignore him and distracting their support as much as they can so they don't have any healing and yet somehow the genji/doomfist kill 2 and run away or kill 4
and at this point, it's when i don't know what to do .. do i go deal the guy that solo kill my whole team and leave the frontline therefore let the rest of the team go wild just to kill one guy
