(not complaining btw, good on them for finding a way to de-incentivize smurfing!) So no need to make the video double the time for no reason right? Instead, I removed alot of games but kept in the ones that were either close, had notable players, decent commentary or just good games. Anyways, I hope this video helps you guys learn something new, feel inspired or at least offers a bit of entertainment. GLHF!
I do not think the armor refresh thing will be patched as the process of one reverts to normal, then turns into Nemesis form by a different ability is learnable for anyone. Even I knew this was a thing without playing the character, just a matter of time of people learning and using it properly. The thing you can do better with the tech is when to prematurely end the 8 second nemesis form from the first ability mainly on low to no armor to shrink hitbox size and to prevent instances of facing echo with her ability to melt enemies at 1/2 hp. Finally, I am seeing Ramattra playstyles that reminds me of Double Shield meta but it is literally holding a singular indoor area next to a payload when it comes to Escort and Hybrid.

For those who don't know the armor refresh tech is no longer needed. They have patched it so that using ult from nemesis mode auto refreshes armor to make it easier.
@@emperortime2356 The tech took like 0.1 seconds to do the instant refresh does nothing, plus they nerfed max duration so you can’t chain multiple kills on spread targets easily while making shield dancing become super effective against it and massively nerfed ult charge. His ult got hard nerfed.
This is one of the most educational unranked to gms ive ever seen, took 5 days for me to finish the video but after watching it ive definitely improved my ramattra and tank in general i'd love to see a ball unranked to gm
@@jonahblack6675yeah, unranked to GM are actually super helpful and educational, despite what some other content creators say (ahem-Flats-ahem) I remember watching a Yeatle or A10 Sigma unranked to GM, and my Sigma improved sooo much after all those hours of watching how to play, what to think about, what to be mindful of, across all the different ranks.
The only unranked to gm that actually explains why you're doing what you're doing. Other people just give obvious tips that even gold players know, they just don't know how to execute it. You go into depth why your plays work, how to actually play the tank role and who to focus and when. Just from the first 3 games I've found plenty mistakes that I can improve in my own gameplay. Massive position takes that I can implement, focusing squishys when I can, using cooldowns to get the most out of them etc.. The main thing I learned is how to properly take space and not necessarily chasing a kill, getting a kill is a bonus. Thanks man I needed this to improve my tank
Yeah the fact you can go 3 times is crazy lol If anything is patched, it should be the fact that the cool down goes down for shift even if ulting. So if your ult is 8 seconds you can just grab that health again by canceling ult. I think they might have also intended this.

This video teaches me so much about tanking, and I'm very grateful for this to you, Yeatle. But after some time of learning, I just quit. I always knew that I'm bad at shooters, so I decided to let it go, since I cannot progress any further and given frustration about myself. But again, thank you very much. Since I watched this video I have progressed pretty far by my own measures and, for sure, it couldn't be done without your help.
The point people don't get is a good tank doesn't require as much as healing and help as a shitty tank does AND he knows when to go and when to back up. If your tank doesn't do that, well yeah the supports are pumping all their resources in him to keep tank alive or fight is lost, and dps suffer for it, since they are getting less healing and help. Thats the biggest problem I have with support playing, the tanks feeding mad hard and thus our dps can't do shit, we all die and another loss for me.

This video is amazing. I had no idea how to play tank before and was bronze to low silver in tank and after about 2 hours of watching this I have quickly ranked up and am about to reach gold in tank. Every time I feel like I could have done something better in a match or just want to improve I watch another match or two from this video and implement it in my matches. I now have about 5:1 win loss ratio and its making my support role better now that I have a better idea of how tanks think. Thank you for this video!

You know what I hate in placement matches when we're playing defense right but they go right up to there spawn and all there is me guarding a pay load with one healer against five other player because they push so far up that when they do get to the payload there's only me and a half health mercy
Good thing they patched the armor thing you showed at the beginning. Now your ult resets the armor value regardless of having already lost it in nemesis form.

If someone is wondering why Yeatle plays in GM lobby while being ranked as Platinum 5 is because when games started MMR rating was hiden from the player. After critic BLizzard removed hiden MMR. So if this chalenge would be released nowdays yeatle would have GM rank much quicker.

Hey! So OW2's Tank role looks quite interesting! Problem is--I only like Ramattra (and Reinhardt occasionally). Do you think I should try and one-trick him into Ranked? I come from League where one-tricking is not only great, but optimal up to even the highest rank in the game. If I cannot one-trick him, or at minimum two-trick Ram and Rein--I might as well uninstall as I dislike other tanks. Thanks and great video.
Ask any player in denial about why they're stuck in their rank and they will tell you it's their teammates or higher level strats don't work in the lower ranks. This is proof against both those things. It's also alot harder to explain the game while trying to win in top10 lobbies.
i know yeatle to be an excellent and one of the best players, but I would love thoughts on whether yeatle or you guys believe Ramattra to be super OP/broken right now or is it just me? Specifically the ult charges way too fast, lasts way too long, and does way too much. It's like you may be able to outplay a ramattra for a fight or two, but you can't win the game because his ult exists... and it exists all the damn time, and it never ends.

Legetimately think he keeps dying in low rank lobies because Silver/Gold players dont trust each other enough to push up as far as he does.
As a low rank player i can confidently say even if you kill 4 of the 5 enemies, people will still be scared to push up and secure the last kill 😅

Ask any player in denial about why they're stuck in their rank and they will tell you it's their teammates or higher level strats don't work in the lower ranks. This is proof against both those things. It's also alot harder to explain the game while trying to win in top10 lobbies.

High level players don't like games at their skill level so they smurf to feel good about themselves and call it educational
Getting armor when you alt as a reset shouldn't be patched, feel it's a needed reset kind of like dva bomb when she get's de-meched

i know yeatle to be an excellent and one of the best players, but I would love thoughts on whether yeatle or you guys believe Ramattra to be super OP/broken right now or is it just me? Specifically the ult charges way too fast, lasts way too long, and does way too much. It's like you may be able to outplay a ramattra for a fight or two, but you can't win the game because his ult exists... and it exists all the damn time, and it never ends.
Ult is pretty strong but overall Ram is a pretty balanced character.
