    Been a lot of years since had an actual driving in the bag. Love my Ping S57 3 iron. And have owned and still own a couple of hybrid clubs, more like mini woods. Which work nicely.
    But am reminded looking at those driving irons you’re testing what the one i has very much like.
    Something worth considering when I get back properly into playing again.

  • @dazza-ve3dw
    @dazza-ve3dw 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I've really enjoyed the building the bag series so thank you for the great content. The Titleist does come in lower lofts than Peter tested on this video, and they also do the U510. I would also wonder how the TM & Titleist would have fared itch the same hand made shaft as the Mizuno. Surely that has a bearing on how that felt and went. I had a chance to speak with a fitter a few years back and he claimed the shafts in Tiger's driver and fairways cost around $1100 dollars each. I fully expect the quality of materials and fine tuning at Tour level surpasses anything we can buy through fitting centres of off the shelf.The shaft in the Mizuno was perhaps a taste of that extra level.
    Having said this I am sure the different specs tested were more important than brand name.. Good luck for jest for the Open and for the channel through the year.

    I wish you would have tested the Titleist U510. I know it’s a muscle back, but that thing is EXCELLENT and hit bombs. I have the 2-iron and routinely hit it 280-300 w/terrific accuracy. I got it to replace my hybrid off the tee, and now rarely ever hit my driver. There’s just no need.

  • @jeffsmith825
