1) so using the xr18, ultra net, to a p16m, and using the thru, to the next p16m, can we use 6 p16m with no issues? is there really a need for the p16d? I'd really love to know! 2) so this gives us a stereo output, which can then go to a stereo wireless in ear unit, correct? say, like the galaxy one's I've seen? I know they are less expensive, but this whole in ear deal is expensive, so looking at all the options. thank you for the demo.
Here are a couple of odd questions.... I am interested in the XR18 new Behringer product that is coming out that has the Ultranet feature. The first question is that.... For the P16-M, does it only work with the P16-I or D racks? If yes, what is the purpose of the ultranet? Also, the XR18 mixer is virtual; so what is connected to the front of the P16-I or D? I don't really feel comfortable running a long ethernet cable across a stage so the drummer can have a P16-M, is there a video on how to do this wirelessly? I have more questions, but I am sleepy. The last question for the night is how do you connect the virtual x32 app to ProTools/Reason? Any guidance on the XR18 would be great. The P16 does seem alot more user friendly than buying a bunch of iPads. I look forward to your response.
Thanks for the questions! You can plug the P16-M directly into the Ultranet port. You can also connect the Ultranet port to a P-16I or D rack if you want more distribution, but it’s not necessary. The P16-M must be connected with an Ethernet cable, it cannot be done wirelessly. The Behringer X32 forums will have a lot of useful information about using it with a DAW: forum.behringer.com/forumdisplay.php?6-X32-Digital-Mixer-Family
I know this is an old post but maybe it will help others, the 16 channels are actually referring to the 16 outs or bus sends on the X32, like if it was setup as floor monitors or in-ears. In your personal mix you probably wouldn’t want to hear every track live or in a studio recording just the basic guitar, bass and drums to lay down a vocal track.
Hello John, is there any reason that on the volume encoder would not mute the channels when pushed, we purchased 5 of the p16-ms and on two of them the volume encoder will not go to the light off position
Question. Once you mix the volumes or even the eq on your P16M, does it override what is already set on the main board for your monitor mix? Or is it it's own entity?
Great units! I’ve been using them for over 10years and the only time anything has happened has been because of slamming down on the headphone extension and damaging the input. Best value for money!

This dude looks like he has someone locked in his basement.

***** - Thank you for the kind response and feedback.
Do you make any bigger than 16 as I use 32 ch.

You didn't share how to save presets. Can you direct me to material or a video demonstrating this?

It sounds like two of the units may be defective - we recommend you contact the reseller and have them swap out the two units that are having issues.
Thank you will do.

Nope. Any adjustments made to the P-16 will only adjust the outputs of that P-16
+Arron Clarke makes sense. Thanks!
+Eliud Sáenz no problem!
Is this only compatible with Behringer products?
You can use the P-16 I as a hub of sorts that connects to your mixing counsel or soundboard.
Does anyone know about their longevity?

@@kharlkapp1128 thanks a lot. That's valuable info to me
@@Jinaci1732 Glad I could help!
this looks like mulit track recorder
You need to speak to SAVE and RECALL
This is not a review. It's more of a demonstration. I thought you would review the unit, telling the pros and cons and is on.
It wasn't supposed to be a review. If you look at the title, it clearly states that this is an overview which is exactly what he did.
My bad. I Googled review, came to this video, and didn't really look at the description. As an overview, though, it's a good one!
Lol its cool man 👍
