Illumination, being a big company, didn't like a big company being presented as run by bad people when not being a cartoonish supervillain, so it had to change.
Don't remind me, their version of Grinch was so bad that I blacklisted the studio forever and refuse to watch their movies any more. Sony Animation at least had the audacity to take risks with Spider-verse and The Mitchells vs The Machines; movies Illumination wouldn't dare risk trying to do.
Honestly I can get what Illumination was going with here. If they kept Biggeneing in, it probably would have scared the kids out of theaters which would cause the parents to demand refunds.
@@WilliamSchmidNetwork No it wouldn't, kids didn't get scared when the original book went that dark and complex, same goes for the 70s animated adaptation. Hell the book ended with an ambiguous ending. Because Dr. Seuss treated kids as mature individuals that didn't need to be talked down to.
@@brendanmilburn9067 - Different time periods. When Lumination’s Lorax came out it was at that time where helicopter parents were in full force demanding everything to be the most non-threatening and least offensive thing ever for their child’s pure eyes and souls or they’ll bring the companies making the product to the brink of bankruptcy by suing to no end. Now yes this sounds over the top but sadly this is how it was during the late 2000’s and early to mid 2010’s (Lorax came out in 2012 so it was in the thick of this bs). Shelia Broflovski isn’t just an exaggerate caricature of a helicopter parent. She’s actually what they are and for some time they had a strong hold on the media.
@@Goleon Except in that same time period we had movies and shows like The Adventures of Tintin (2011), Rango, Coraline, Gravity Falls, Frankenweenie, Paranorman, and other family media intended for kids but tackled darker subject material. I think the best part of the "Playing with the Big Boys" scene is how Moses' staff actually eats the other snakes. He might walk away defeated, but his God is still clearly more powerful.
Well, in their defense, Moses clearly had a direct connection with his god that allowed him to pull off his miracles, while they didn't have one with any of their gods. ...But, what if they did? How powerful are the Egyptian gods compared to the Judaic god?
Of course Holding Out For A Hero has an added bit of depth: Fairy Godmother is most likely singing it about Prince Charming and how she sees him, or wants others to. However, it ends up instead describing Shrek and his group instead...who Prince Charming is presently masquerading as. That's an interesting idea.
Here's how I see it: She knows she exists within a fairytale world, as do all of the other characters if the first movie was any indication. What if she also knows she's the villain? She knows that she can't be a villain without a hero to stop her. The song is about the fairy godmother herself, as she is fully aware the story is reaching its climax and she is about to be defeated, so she decides to go out as flashy as possible.
I was so happy when you said "a song we were robbed of" for #1, i was immediately like "is it Biggering? it better be Biggering. i HOPE its Biggering." and when it was, i started happy-crying
For me I was hoping it was either Biggering or Snuff out the light. Both are great but then I remembered that Snuff out the light is a Disney song. Oops. Plus, while Snuff out the light is good, it’s not Hellfire levels off good, macabre and dark, but it’s still very jazzy and fun.
I find it funny to think that Ramses' schemes failed in the end all because his court mages never once invoked Isis, the freaking Egyptian Goddess of _Magic_ , in their song.
@@kylestubbs8867 I would mention that Moses didn't summon anything... God told Moses to tell Aaron, Moses' brother, to toss his (Aaron's) rod at the feet of the Pharaoh, which it then turned into a snake. That’s what I was thinking when I watched it, I had recently left Mormonism when I watched that movie and just loved it how they didn’t overly lean on the message and just focused on the story. It’s kinda like approaching the Bible with the intention of it being a fantasy book
@@sydneyskousen2030 Not to take away from your point or anything- but the story of Moses is not a biblical story and will never be. It is the story of Jewish suffering. It’s from the Torah. Christians stole it. So please do not refer to it as a biblical story.
@@bex1107 If you are willing to discuss, I’d argue that cutting Moses out of Christianity is ignoring where Christianity came from. The two religions are tied to each other, even if they don’t agree with one another, and as such they share a lot of history from before the split, such as the story of Moses.

You know, people keep saying that capitalism gives corporations all of the power, yet those same corporations seem to go out of their way to push that thought process in the first place, constantly ripping on capitalism every chance they get. Kind of a red flag to be honest.
part of me genuinely hopes it was merely a mix studio interference and the success of despicable me, both of which adds a layer of extreme irony to the lost songs
I heard that a possible reason that "Biggering" was canned in lieu of the cheesier song "How Bad Could I Be" is because "Biggering" actually revealed the greed and pride of big corporations and that illuminations purposefully did not want to reveal that to the children audience. They also feared that the dark message of the song would upset their target children audience and they would loose money in the process. This forced the studio to prioritize a more childish and safer plot that would grab children's attention more easily, with a cheesy villain that does not accurately portray the main themes of the original book. This includes counterintuitive and hyper focused children advertising for the lorax movie, including.... car commercials?! How backwards can you be to advertise a car for the Lorax?! All of this so that Illuminations can appeal to children to make more profits. Ironically, the Lorax movie that we got is shockingly the best representation of this corporate greed and pride outlined in "Biggering": the pride in people leading to greedy actions, with Illumination taking away a deep and meaningful plot that children needed to learn and instead showed a hollow, corporate approved children's movie
It reminds me of this bit in Doug Walkers review of The Lorax. Chart guy 1: But you don’t understand. We don’t want people to feel bad about themselves. Chart guy 2: Yes, people are less likely to buy things when they feel bad. Chart guy 1: Its easier to show a clear right and wrong message so that no kids are confused. NC: But maybe they SHOULD be confused. Hell, maybe what you are doing is confusing them in a different way. Look! When you make your characters less human, you suck out the humanity, meaning people are less likely to see what they can become. Just like a delicate seed can grow a great oak, so can a faulty message grow a big problem. Chart guy 2: Yes but clearly we show it in a satirical sense so that makes it all right. NC: In what way? How does laughing at the bad things you do make it any less bad?
@@HB-fq9nn Exactly! the whole point of the once ler is that we could be him and do the same bad things. The lorax is supposed to be a cautionary tale/ fable of what humans can realistically do to screw the environment and how we can help prevent it through awareness and empathy of the environment
My favorite thing about the biggering animatic is that you can see the moments of hesitation, and the regret as soon as the gratification makes way for a realization as he sees who he hurt. Once he comes down from that high.
I never knew about the song Biggering until now. I had NO idea that there was a song that more accurately described the Once-lers' descent into villainy! How Bad Can I Be, has his descent as a result of his success blinding him to the damage he's causing and being in denial that his business practice was more harmful than it was helpful. But Biggering has it showing that HE ACTUALLY SEES the damage he's causing, but he keeps going because the _MORE successful he gets_ the _MORE he feels that he deserves_ and never gives the damage he causes a second thought because _he's too focused on himself, his success, and what he wants to care about any one else_ DAMN....we WERE robbed
How Bad Can I Be is their way of trying to make companies like themselves look sympathetic. It's the excuse that they always use. "Oh, I didn't know that we were harming the environment with our factories" "We didn't know that lead paint on children toys would poison the kids" "We didn't know that the mothers in africa would be unknowingly starving their children because of the way our product was presented to them. In most cases, they do know but keep going and brushing the bad consequences under the rug and Biggering shows us both that AND why they do it in the first place. Apparently the government (the american one? i'm not too sure, I could be wrong here) are planning to pour oil in the arctic ocean. Do they know how bad that is? Yes. Do they care? No. Why? Biggering. But with How Bad Can I Be, they decide to lie to us and say "No no no, they did NOT know about the CLEAR amount of damage that they're causing. They're just like naive little children you see. See? Look at how clueless he is! That's totally how they are in real life, kids!"

Can’t help but think that if they had left “Biggening,” in the Lorax movie then it would have been remembered far better than it is now. Like how “In the Dark of the Night,” helped make Anastasia more memorable. Instead they opted for the “safer,” option only for the movie to be a soulless corporate shill.
A nice bit of foreshadowing in "Playing with the big boys" is that Mosus' snake ate the other two snakes at the end of the song. Stuff like that makes me appreciate musical numbers in movies, when they can give varying hints for the coming events.

I know why the number one song wasn't put into it's movie. Because the corporation saw that the song was about their own greed and couldn't let the audience see it
That and apparently they thought it was too dark for kids. Which I can fully say screw you, Illumination. Kids can handle much more complex and mature storytelling than you think.

Ash (Who plays Korim in The Lost Island) said while listening to this: "It makes perfect sense the company didn't want that song in the Lorax. It hit too close to home."
This is exactly it, along with tearing down any excuses of plausible deniability; instead of a song about a corporate bigwig villain knowingly causing destruction to further his own goals, we got a song about a gullible hipster victim blinded against his cruel actions by the dollar signs. The original song painted corporations in too harsh of a light and exposed the dark underbelly of the corporate world; the corporations funding the movie didn't like it, so they had the writers tweak the lyrics and insert them into a colorful pop song to play down the evils of corporations... though in a way, 'How Bad Can I Be?' reveals exactly how corporations get away with their crimes by hiding behind a guise of being proactive and well-intentioned.
One of my favourtie Non-Disney Movie Villain song of all time has to be Preminger's 'How Can I Refuse?'. You can almost forget he's a villain in a Barbie movie due to his charisma, machinations and extensive vocabulary.
I was literally just about to comment about how deserving Biggering was for a place on this list because I was sure it wouldn't be here since it was cut from the movie, but then I realized that was gonna be number one once Josh compared it to Hellfire. Glad I waited a few seconds before hitting post. I ABSOLUTELY agree with Josh about it. It's definitely that good.
That number 1 pick is perfect. I can't stand the movie, but I listen to that song constantly, it's such an actual banger and has more compelling storytelling than anything that actually made it into the film. The rock opera vibes are impeccable. I've been dying to hear more people talk about that masterpiece so seeing it pop up on this list so high was wonderful. Great list!
When I listen to Biggering, I get a deep, gritty, ugly feeling inside I can't find many other places. I can feel the dirt and grime and darkness like it's plastered into me. I could rant on for hours. I just... MMM. Good stuff.
The second he said 'Equestria Girls' I knew exactly what song he was talking about, which probably says something about how good it is compared to the rest of the Equestria Girls villain songs/songs in general considering I've watched every Equestria Girls movie _at least_ twice.
Of course Biggering was by John Powell. He's had his hands in almost all of my favorite movie soundtracks-- El Dorado, How to Train your Dragon... I didn't know he worked on Lorax, no wonder I love the movie! It's so sad to see that we didn't get the best version of that song... Def going to give it a listen.
I thought since your number 1 was considered "cheating" but still fit your parameters, it was gonna be Snuff Out the Light from the scrapped Kingdom of the Sun. But the actual number 1 was a pleasant surprise & Illumination did a massive disservice keeping it locked to the OST.
I was thinking the same thing until I remembered this was a non-Disney list. As I said in an earlier comment, Biggering and the demo version of Thneedville are why I seriously wanna see a live show that gives us what the film was originally gonna be, like how the live show of Disney's Hunchback was a combination of the Disney film and the original novel. (And before anyone says it, yes, I know an actual Lorax musical did come out sometime after the Illumination film, but it's not quite what I'm describing here, though it looks intriguing)
OMFG BIGGERING IS SO FUCKING GOOD it makes me almost cry that this song isn’t in the Lorax. It’s my favorite movie but it’s sucks how there is basically nothing about the onceler or any songs that are THAT good
@@KororaPenguin He is pretty tragic in the final film too. The song they used "How Bad Can I Be" is very similar to Hellfire in that the villain is unable to accept they are the bad guy and makes excuses for their actions. In Hellfire it was Frollo blaming his actions on Esmarelda, and in How Bad Can I Be, The Once-ler is making excuses for his unsustainable business practices by saying "Hey I donate what is basically pocket change to charity". But the sad is thing is he believes his own lies that he isn't bad and doesn't see the error of his ways until after he cuts down the last tree. I always found The Lorax is a good cautionary tale for promoting sustainable business practices. If he listened to the Once-ler and worked on a compromise such as planting two trees for everyone he cuts down, everyone would be happy.
@@emberfist8347 Yeah, but i think it would be even more tragic if Biggering was kept in the film, that shows thorugh the years how the Onceler grew more and more greedy and at the end, he sees what hes done and its too late
@@Igna-hp8xx - I think it would of been great if they had Biggering as the reprise for How Bad I Can Be by it being sung during the scene when the Lorax is confronting the Once-Ler. Cause from what I can tell that appears to be where it’s sung so it would of still worked in if used in that moment. Sure we’d get another song not long after How Bad Can I Be but given how good Biggering is I doubt anyone would of complained.
I DO love the lyrics of The Dark Lorax Song as it's just GREAT!! It honestly puts things in a perspective I haven't thought of. Greed is like the seed, it's the impetus to get you started, but Pride is what keeps you going, and allows you to ignore all the destruction it causes.
Thank you so much for acknowledging Biggering, and I strongly agree with its placement. I found it in 2020's late summer and have listened to it periodically ever since. That song is not just a little muttering of "how ba-a-a-ad can i be" while you're doing household chores, it's break into an entire theatre bellowing of "FIGURING ON BIGGERING" that ends up taking the whole song until you can go back to what you were doing
I never would have guessed you would bring up Biggering , that shocked me! Amazing song and we were so robbed. Also seeing Adachi in the intro made me chuckle too.
The fact that we were freaking cheated from an epic onceler villan song (not saying I hated what we got or anything , just disappointed that we could've gotten a better song) is something I don't think I can ever forgive illumination's lorax for .
I didn't even know about that unreleased track from #1. That was a hell of a bomb being dropped. Thanks for that, well, "illuminating" reveal to that side of the movie. I'll definitely be digging deeper into the unreleased stuff for that piece.
23:18 " to the darkly and seductive" the take that Dr. Facilier is being seductive in "friends on the other side" is such a new concept to me honestly.
I thought the usage of the lyrics from How Bad Can I Be in Biggering was on purpose, as Biggering was intended to come later in the movie. Like some sort of dark reprise.
Biggering could’ve been a good reprise of How Bad I Can Possibly Be in my opinion. Like sure the movie would’ve had to be longer, but it could’ve been such a good follow up to the dark end of HBICPB
What I find interesting about "The Prince of Egypt" song is that nobody notices that Moses' staff snake eats both of the snakes Hotep and Huy produced.
The moment I heard THE guitar, instant satisfaction, kinda makes me want to do a rewrite on The Lorax, the original plan seemed to be SO MUCH BETTER Biggering is a banger we were robbed from, and I'll never forgive Illumination for taking it away.
I would give anything to see the lorax with its original script, which is much better, I will never forgive illumination for taking away both biggering and the original script
I don't mind it either. As Josh says it easy to blame the Once-ler's destruction on carelessness and I think that might have been the idea. The Once-ler does make a point in the original story about why he doesn't shut down or downsize his operations. His workers have to put food on the table and they can't do that if he does something that compromises his business. I always viewed the message of the Lorax of being one about sustainable growth i.e. planting additional trees for every tree you cut down. The song from the final film was high-lighting that at first, he wasn't really hurting anyone. He just didn't realize he needed to replinish the supploy of trees for his business until it was too late. He was never truly evil in the story as you can tell by the fact he has regretted his actions ever since that last tree fell.
I always thought the lyric was "Tie my sash; add a dash of cologne for that smell!" The first a directive, the second to help cover up his undead zombie stank
I will never forgive Illumination for canceling that masterpiece you talked about in your number one spot. I still like "How Bad Can I Be" but I never knew about that original take of the film and thank you Josh for introducing me to it.
@•Zerø• Illumination is apparently going for R rated and more adult animated filmmaking in the next few years, so perhaps that would give them a great opportunity to give us the cancelled ideas.
It came out when I was 9 when the movie came out and when we finally got it on DVD I wanted to watch it repeatedly because I loved it so much. I'll never forget once when I replayed it after we just watched it, my mom said, "You're gonna get tired of it." Now I'm imagining that after "How Bad Can I Be?", it cuts back to the present day, where the Once-ler is telling his story to Ted, telling him about how now he knows better and laments that he learned too late... The scene would then change to the inside of the Once-ler's house, still not showing his face, where he picks up a broken guitar and starts to play it. Through some miracle, it still sounds good and then it leads into "Biggering"...
God that number 1 gave me chills. Christ we were robbed. It's almost like the anti-capitalist message of the story was completely lost on the corporation that was adapting it.
Dude I absolutely applaud and love your number 1. Biggering is absolutely flawless. It is brilliant and captures so many feelings, its impossible to put into words how magnificent it is and you are right we were robbed.
For the next time this rolls around, we'll need to hear from the villains of gaming. We need praise for the homicidal killer robot with the singing voice of an angel, Glados.
Not sure how many video game villains get a song with lyrics... but if he does go that route I'm hoping for "Evil Queen" from Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. Maybe it isn't the most menacing villain number out there, but it *is* fun.
I wonder if "Throw Your Mask Away" from Persona 5 Royal would count since the villain in question isn't necessarily "evil." At least, not a total monster (they genuinely believe they're doing something good).
Only just found this video. But I fully support the Shrek 2 and Original Lorax choices. They really work as villain songs, and the Original Lorax really explored greed and pride, I really wish we didn't get robbed, but of course they couldn't sell merchandise if they actually made the movie like that.

I wasn’t expecting it to be on the list, let alone be #1! 😃 It’s honestly my favorite song of the entire song track and yes, it could totally be up there with Hellfire if it got included in the movie. Also thank you for defending the Shrek musical, it feels like I’m always in the minority when I think it’s actually a good musical. 🤗
the number one spot made me realize something... no matter how much we blame greed and envy for their actions it's pride that made me see that even the most envious Karen or the most greedy company is guilty of pride because that what makes them see that they deserve their position... and anyone can fall into this hole of pride... but it's their decision to fall down the hole and what other sin it can make... the lesson is "there are 7 sins but only 1 fuels them all"
I'm not sure what other lists are coming down the line, but I'm shocked there was no Dr. Horrible. The villain song from the similar-energy musical episode of Buffy is one of my all time favorites, too.
So your #1 choice.... it was unexpected, I never heard of it, but after hearing it and your explanation for why it made it to the top of the list I can honestly see why.

I think "How bad can I be" is still a good song that picks on corporations for their lame excuses and justifications for the terrible actions they choose to take, but "Biggering" is just so much more impactful and its message is much more broad. It points a finger at everyone and says anyone could end up like the Onceler, not just on the corporate scale, but also on the individual and personal scale as well.
Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now from Anna and the Apocalypse is a really great villain song, especially the full version of the song in the extended cut. Same goes for the villain songs in Rocky Horror Picture Show and Little Shop of Horrors (1986). The Devil's Carnival movies also has some great ones.
Fun fact though about the snake staff, Moses’s serpent ate the real ones. Its been speculated that this symbolized that fun tricks only work so well for so long against the real deal. Additionally that same detail happened in the original material too.
The Lorax’s section of Biggering sounds like something Seuss himself would write, that simple but deep writing that kids can understand and be entertained by while adults can admire the layers, and to me, that’s the biggest shame. Something in a Doctor Seuss movie actually felt like the source, and it was cut.
Fun fact about the number 5 - Playing with the big boys: They say the names of all of the Old Egyptian gods APART FROM ONE! They didn't mention the god of Magic, because they know they use tricks not magic and wouldn't want to enrage him xD

No it wouldn't, kids didn't get scared when the original book went that dark and complex, same goes for the 70s animated adaptation. Hell the book ended with an ambiguous ending. Because Dr. Seuss treated kids as mature individuals that didn't need to be talked down to.

I think the best part of the "Playing with the Big Boys" scene is how Moses' staff actually eats the other snakes. He might walk away defeated, but his God is still clearly more powerful.

Of course Holding Out For A Hero has an added bit of depth:
Fairy Godmother is most likely singing it about Prince Charming and how she sees him, or wants others to. However, it ends up instead describing Shrek and his group instead...who Prince Charming is presently masquerading as.
That's an interesting idea.
Apparently the entirety of Shrek 2
Was written to build this song up
So when it finally comes in,
Everything starts falling into place.

@@theheroneededwillette6964 i know right?
part of me genuinely hopes it was merely a mix studio interference and the success of despicable me, both of which adds a layer of extreme irony to the lost songs

But Biggering has it showing that HE ACTUALLY SEES the damage he's causing, but he keeps going because the _MORE successful he gets_ the _MORE he feels that he deserves_ and never gives the damage he causes a second thought because _he's too focused on himself, his success, and what he wants to care about any one else_
DAMN....we WERE robbed
I will never forgive them
How Bad Can I Be is their way of trying to make companies like themselves look sympathetic.
No. Why? They're just like naive little children you see. See? Look at how clueless he is! That's totally how they are in real life, kids!"

I don't mind it either. As Josh says it easy to blame the Once-ler's destruction on carelessness and I think that might have been the idea. Can we talk about how impressive Darla Dimples' voice actress(es) are?! The girl who sang Big And Loud was only 8! I *wish* I was that talented as an adult!
If "Biggering" was played after "How Bad Can I Be?" that would have likely changed a lot of opinions on the movie.
And the onceler himself. He'd be seen as an actual horrible person rather then a guy who just made an honest mistake and was just a people pleaser
Now I'm imagining that after "How Bad Can I Be?", it cuts back to the present day, where the Once-ler is telling his story to Ted, telling him about how now he knows better and laments that he learned too late...
I think you've missed the point of what josh saying.
On the riskof being lynched... I always remember Anastasia for "Once upon a December" rather than "In the dark of the night"...
Same honestly
Liz Callaway.... wow what a Voice...
Josh missed a real good opportunity to call this month “Malicious Melody Month.”
At least, he picked a banger intro song.
Dude I absolutely applaud and love your number 1. Biggering is absolutely flawless. It is brilliant and captures so many feelings, its impossible to put into words how magnificent it is and you are right we were robbed.
The Onceler's story is a really dark one. I wish we got that song in the film though.
Yes
When you started to build up to #1, I was hoping it would be Biggering. I was not disappointed! This song deserves all of the praise it gets and more!
Would One Winged Angel count for that, since it has Latin lyrics in it?
@@IcyDiamond Maybe, I don't make the rules.
Would the theme from Myst III: Exile count, seeing as the ominous Narayani chanting is Saavedro's vow of vengeance?
I wonder if "Throw Your Mask Away" from Persona 5 Royal would count since the villain in question isn't necessarily "evil." At least, not a total monster (they genuinely believe they're doing something good).
I didn't realize how robbed we were on the lorax
We 100% were!
That could have been a song for the books.
i totally enjoyed The Lorax, would i rather read the book or watch the older movie? sure, but that doesnt mean i cant like the Modern version.
@@UltimateGamerCC My thoughts exactly! That song is still Stuck in My Head for almost a Decade!
Totally
More people needs to see this video and discover the masterpiece that Biggering was
They are already discovering it little by little
Only just found this video. But I fully support the Shrek 2 and Original Lorax choices. They really work as villain songs, and the Original Lorax really explored greed and pride, I really wish we didn't get robbed, but of course they couldn't sell merchandise if they actually made the movie like that.
"Time to bring the brony out of the closet"
Josh, why are they even in the closet? We all know at this point and I actually like the pony Josh
Well, where else do you put things that you're not using anymore?
The funny thing I was expecting a TFS reference. You know the one
FOR THOUSANDS OF YEAR I LAY DORMANT...
@@tomlynmathewsjr7514 Instead we got a Thor Ragnarok reference. Not that I’m complaining.
BTW, we're about due for another video opening with an EQG-and-saxophone silhouette.
Didn't we see him during Top 10 Worst Bethesda Fails?
I got a title.
"Musical Villainy Month"
You're Welcome.
Malevolent Melodies!
When you were building up the fake out with Zootopia, I was hoping you were actually alluding to Cats Don't Dance. When I turned out to be right, I pumped both of my fists in the air and silently screamed "YES". So happy to see one of my favorite childhood movies getting some recognition.
DUDE!! You have no idea, how excited I got hearing the intro to Biggering!! I wasn’t expecting it to be on the list, let alone be #1! 😃
It’s honestly my favorite song of the entire song track and yes, it could totally be up there with Hellfire if it got included in the movie.
Also thank you for defending the Shrek musical, it feels like I’m always in the minority when I think it’s actually a good musical. 🤗
the number one spot made me realize something... no matter how much we blame greed and envy for their actions it's pride that made me see that even the most envious Karen or the most greedy company is guilty of pride because that what makes them see that they deserve their position... and anyone can fall into this hole of pride... but it's their decision to fall down the hole and what other sin it can make... the lesson is "there are 7 sins but only 1 fuels them all"
Was so happy to see Under Our Spell on this list. I know you're a well known brony, but I was scared it wasn't gonna make it due to obscurity.
It's cool that you're branching out into other subjects.
Anyway, I'm rooting for In The Dark of the Night.
That got number three!
Congratulations it got #3!
I'm not sure what other lists are coming down the line, but I'm shocked there was no Dr. Horrible. The villain song from the similar-energy musical episode of Buffy is one of my all time favorites, too.
This aged like milk
Biggering is such an amazing song, that it might've actually saved the movie.
Hearing the dazzlings referred to as kidified heathers gave me life ❤
I wonder if either How Bad Can I Be or Biggering will be on the list?
Edit: Biggering was number one let’s go!
Biggering has my vote
@@buddyb3165 same
Well someone better Pick up the phone....
@@buddyb3165 I was right!!!
Haven't seen the movie, love How Bad Can I Be, but hoooooooooooooly shit they should've kept Biggering
So your #1 choice.... it was unexpected, I never heard of it, but after hearing it and your explanation for why it made it to the top of the list I can honestly see why.
“You’ll Be Back” from Hamilton is an easy favorite for me
That's a musical, not a movie.
@@antonhagbox02 I know, but he was doing these for all the other mediums later on. I just put one for a musical here because it was the only one out at the time.
"These 3 kiddified Heathers"
Lmao I can't 💀💀
Additionally that same detail happened in the original material too.
clever.
The Lorax’s section of Biggering sounds like something Seuss himself would write, that simple but deep writing that kids can understand and be entertained by while adults can admire the layers, and to me, that’s the biggest shame. Something in a Doctor Seuss movie actually felt like the source, and it was cut.
Fun fact about the number 5 - Playing with the big boys:
They say the names of all of the Old Egyptian gods APART FROM ONE!
They didn't mention the god of Magic, because they know they use tricks not magic and wouldn't want to enrage him xD
