your comment about God not being mad for us not reading our bibles or not praying genuinely made me cry 🥺 I replayed it like 5 times, I didn't realize how far I let myself get from God in fear that He is mad at me for not being entirely attentive to Him but He is so forgiving and loving and there's no reason for me to feel that way. My husband is an airline pilot about to start training, so he's going to be gone off and on for the next 3 months and then gone for like 4-5 days every week pretty much until he retires. It's kind of spooky to think about living alone, so I'm glad you're making videos like this because it helps me get ideas on how I can live my life while he's gone

Hey Haley! First of all, I-am-in-absolute-love with your videos. You transmit so much and seem so close that when I watch your videos I feel like I am actually hanging out and chatting with a good friend. You are so sparkly, sweet and pure of heart that it almost seems impossible ❤️ Regarding the alone time... I've learned to really appreciate it, specially now in my 30s. I also tend to fill the silence with audiobooks, music and videos on the background (I guess this is because it makes me feel safe and comfy, as I grew up in a very noisy home, I have 6 siblings). But. BUT. I am learning to hang out with myself. To plan chill or fun days with myself. And I am loving it :) Sometimes it just means to cook, read and chill on the couch watching that show/film I did not have time for. Sometimes it means going out and discovering a new place (a new bobba shop, an antique library...). Sometimes it means getting out of the comfort zone (starting by not staying at home when you feel kind of heavy and blocked). Sometimes it means having "a date with God" when you really feel like you need it. In general, I think it means letting things flow and appreciating life. Appreciating yourself and the thinks you like.
I just read first Samuel this morning too! I loved how even when it felt like everything wasn't going to plan Hannah was able to find peace through God and trusting in him. ❤️
im a christian teenager, and for awhile i was kinda far from the church, but i recently have been getting back into it, and i love how you have been talking about it

I spend almost all of my time alone when I’m not at work. It’s such a vibe to me. Sitting alone, reading books, cleaning my room, painting, watching TH-cam and Netflix, going on walks, biking. It’s just peaceful. I feel like I can only be myself with myself
I have been living alone for about 3 years now. I do live on a college campus so obviously there is a constant stream of people in the halls and in neighboring apartments but I do have my own space to myself. I think what helps me is to have a routine each day as well as scheduling in time with friends at least a couple times a week. I also enjoy having music or podcasts on in the background as well! One thing I like to do if I feel like I have been in my apartment for too long and I feel lonely is to go out. I go to the park or I go to a coffee shop or out to eat! One of the best things of living alone I would say is you are completely on your own schedule and you don’t have to accommodate to anyone else and their schedule! I hope you can enjoy the next month and it is a good experience for you!

I moved to a whole new country at the age of 18 and I've been living along since then. I get you, I get the loneliness that creeps on you every time you turn around. I used to cry sooooo much, almost every night. Until I started to learn to cope with being alone. I like to put on some soft music in the background every day or I watch TH-cam like you do. I try to go out as much as I can, get some sun. Do things in the house. Anything to keep me busy :) Perhaps that could help you too.

Always remember that Jehovah loves us more than we love ourselves, his most dominant quality is love and if your going through something read Isaiah 41:10 to build you back up and try using his name when you pray and it will help you feel closer to him. I had a condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum while I was pregnant with both of my kids. It was like having food poisoning every single day for 9 months + all the regular pregnancy stuff + taking care of a toddler 😩 like literal hell on earth. When you talked about being so tired after getting sick... I felt it in my soul!
I live with my boyfriend and he is gone for the weekend, it's first night without him and I already miss him. How strong do you have to be girl. Praying for Ryan's safe trip!

My ministry in college does this thing called the 30 day journey and during that process we do a “6 hour solo”! Literally 6 hours completely alone with God. Just your Bible and a journal and it pushes you to get to that point where you don’t even know what to pray but then you just get to sit at His feet. It’s amazing and has made me appreciate solitude sooooooo much more. Especially as an introvert who feels like I need to force myself into the world without getting the time I need to just “be” with God first!
i lived alone for 4 months last year and i can see its definitely easier for introverted people. however, i still love spending time with ppl so its important to reach out to friends and make plans so that you dont just stay home all day every day. you seem to be doing a great job even after getting sick :)

My parents are Pastors, and as a Born Again Christian, I don't read Bible as much as I should've. I had a condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum while I was pregnant with both of my kids. It was like having food poisoning every single day for 9 months + all the regular pregnancy stuff + taking care of a toddler 😩 like literal hell on earth. When you talked about being so tired after getting sick... I felt it in my soul!

My ministry in college does this thing called the 30 day journey and during that process we do a “6 hour solo”! Literally 6 hours completely alone with God. Just your Bible and a journal and it pushes you to get to that point where you don’t even know what to pray but then you just get to sit at His feet. It’s amazing and has made me appreciate solitude sooooooo much more. Especially as an introvert who feels like I need to force myself into the world without getting the time I need to just “be” with God first!

i lived alone for 4 months last year and i can see its definitely easier for introverted people. however, i still love spending time with ppl so its important to reach out to friends and make plans so that you dont just stay home all day every day. you seem to be doing a great job even after getting sick :)

I am from Philippines and your advice/message about the Holy Scriptures and addressing the relationship with God as a whole reached me. Thank you for helping me rekindle my relationship with God. My parents are Pastors, and as a Born Again Christian, I don't read Bible as much as I should've.
