As someone who's recently graduated as an interior architect I cannot tell you how much I CRINGED when they talked about their "interest in interior design". I might be wrong but it doesn't seem far from "I want to make houses look like they're from pinterest" which is nowhere near being able to design a functional and cohesive living space and makes me worried about the future of their business.
hi its aria I really think they think that magnolia home from target will be the driving force of their real estate careers (lol) also chip and joanna gaines are not great role models as designers bc like 90% of the shit on their show isn’t even designed by them. like idk if they think hgtv is real life but I guess they’re gonna find out the hard way it is NOT easy and the budgets on hgtv and other stuff like that are also so skewed and unrealistic lmao
theycallmeangie if im not mistaken she’s studying for her real estate licensure to buy/sell houses and stuff like that, not necessarily interior design! both things go hand in hand but they are not the same and require separate education / requirements
they’re obsessed with fixer upper. none of their furniture matches (some but i stg each room has a different style) and as far as i saw her house is more on the modern side with a little bit of a farmhouse. and she just wants old school/ boho/ farmhouse and it’s just too much in my opinion. i don’t think she’s mature enough to be a realtor. it’s a lot of school (she’s obviously not used to) and you can’t be socially awkward and i don’t think it’s something she will like in my opinion 🤷🏼♀️
@@GKSoccer5 ahhh i understand. I'm an Architecture graduate so seeing people do thinga without a license also irks me but I have seen these things still e successful esp on TH-cam. You can see Mr. Kate as an example. They don't have interior design licenses but they call themselves as such as from what I know. Let them learn. Everything can be learned if you want to achieve a goal.
i love ryan and haley but i feel like she is somewhat controlling? like all of a sudden when they moved in together he stopped cussing, doing commentary making fun of people, and always talks about god now. i feel like she wants him to be this perfect angel. but i don’t really know. it’s what she comes off as
😭😭 old ryan was so much better. i miss the commentary with ryan yerrow, running videos and him just being himself. Haley just makes it feel so superficial now
@@soph8402 that's not true. people have always lived long lives (although the life span has increased - from late 60s to mid 80s), the reason the average life span was considered so short was because of the high infant mortality rate. if you survived childhood, your chances of dying old were greatly increased. getting married at 13 is fucking weird no matter what and was very often forced onto young girls who would then be raped and forced to have children.
@@soph8402 this is not true at all. the average lifespan was shorter back then because a lot of people used to die in childhood. if you counted only people who lived to age 10, you would have a pretty solid chance of living till your 60s or even 70s. girls were forced into marriage back then because they were seen as property to be exchanged for strengthened family ties and to start having babies as early as biologically possible, not because people were dying at 25. also in a lot of societies, child marriage was generally more of an upper class and nobility thing. if you are a poor family, you can't marry your 15 year old off because you still need her to help around the house with various domestic chores or helping out on your farm or perhaps even helping with the family business (though she would not get any income from it) like helping a laundress mother with laundry or something. children were basically free labour back then and only rich people who sit around on their asses could afford to send their free labour off to a different family. poor families would generally wait longer until their girls were of what we would consider a far more acceptable age to get married (late teens to early 20s).
I just don't think they understand that you get married and get a house because you're mature, you're not mature because you got married and got a house
when haley says it used to be popular in society to get married at 13 and have kids at 14,,, that was MAJORLY attributed to literal children being married to men DECADES older than them as a status boost / to create heirs. 14 year olds were not marrying other 14 year olds they were marrying middle aged / elderly men. that is NOT an example worth striving for / citing as a way to justify your marriage. like. oh my god.
On a similar note, when she was talking about societal expectations of what you'll be like at 10 and at 19, I literally gasped. There are reasons that we have different expectations of people at age 10, 19, 25, etc. and that is due to what we have learned about cognitive development. She does not seem to understand the difference between actual cognitive differences over age vs societal expectations and benchmarks. For her to actually use age 10 as an example of 'arbitrarily decided' expectations was incredibly troubling. I want to be clear in saying I am not accusing Haley of being a child predator but that kind of line of faulty reasoning is EXACTLY what so called "MAPS" use to justify their predation on children. It was incredibly troubling to hear her say that and I think is one of many examples of the lack of development and thought into both their words and actions. I am hesitant to criticize two young adults who clearly are struggling with identity and responsibility but the fact that they are broadcasting these poor choices and actions to a young, impressionable audience deserves to be challenged. I'm glad this video exists.
exactly!! the fact that her cognitive development is not over does not mean she’s immature, but her unwillingness to accept that does. i dont think she understands that it is not a bad thing to be 19 and acknowledge that you still have so much to learn and grow from.
They just seem like two kids from broken homes who are trying to make up for it by doing "everything right" and getting married, creating the happy family they didn't have.
Bella M because it leads her into doing stuff the disingenuous to her and stuff she just feels like she needs to do to be a “good” christian or a “good” girl
Bella M no they just shouldn’t have kids lol. clearly Haley doesn’t know shit about birth control and i really pray she does not get pregnant. Getting married, purchasing a home, and having sex without proper birth control are VERY big steps. They aren’t just “haha yolo” fun things to do. They are serious decisions with serious consequences. 2 broken immature people should NOT have children period. they are not ready to raise another human being!!!!!!!!
Sam Nguyen Why are we assuming they are broken just because they come from “broken homes”? We don’t know the healing they’ve undertaken or how their upbringing has even influenced their relationship for that matter. I think it’s a little cruel to deny people who don’t come from nuclear families the chance to start and enjoy their own :/
d People from “nuclear” families can have kids AFTER therapy, and/or actual maturity. You aren’t mature cuz u can pay a mortgage bill :/ She can’t even say “penis” or “sex” lmao you think that lil girl is ready to raise a baby? If you can’t figure out birth control thats on you but she is endangering a lot of other lil girls who might fucking get pregnant!!! And she might get pregnant too!! that’s dangerous af. Kids aren’t fun lil toys you can have with no consequences. Kids will eventually be adults. You are making a life. Kids will NOT heal you or your problems. That’s selfish as fuck to think. And it is outrageously irresponsible to make FALSE claims about birth control (ie: u can only get pregnant 6 days out the month). Most people are not ready to start a family and Haley/Ryan are on the farthest end of not ready. They are both young and immature still so I do pray that they really don’t have kids. I pray that somehow she does not get pregnant. I would not even be surprised if they had a kid to keep the views coming in 🤦🏻♀️
Tia Rose Personal life? They literally blast their lives on 3 channels, Instagram, TikTok and podcasts. He isn’t overstepping any boundaries they haven’t already crossed by over sharing their bad decisions online. Anything you put out is open to social commentary. And he is open on where he has coming from. They have a young impressionable audience and they are giving them horrible advice while simultaneously ruining their own. So yes it is not “creepy” or strange for a grown ass adult to debunk their advice.
@abbu babu it's not the fact that people are telling them what to do, or even the fact that they're doing something else in the first place, it's the fact that they're both (primarily haley tho) so flippant about the fact that higher education is a crucial and necessary part of so many peoples' lives. they act as if one can just choose what they want to do and make a decision based on what makes them the most happy rather than factoring in so many important other things, like financial status. ryan and haley can do what they want and choose to ignore comments regarding their own way of life, but when they blatantly disregard good faith criticism telling them they shouldn't be telling people 'just do what you want' and practically advertising and promoting not going to college, that's when the line should be drawn.
abbu babu schooling isn't necessary but education 100% is. You see all these celebrities who claim to be scammed from bad business deals but in reality they didn't read the fine print. Even Kanye West is now complaining about bad business deals he made because he wasn't educated.
and isn’T SHE MARRIED LIKE THE FUCK i’m 19 and don’t even care to date guys because i’d rather work my ass off and make $$$ than blow it all on some damn wedding with a dumbass i’ll prolly wanna divorce a few years later idk i just never see the point (not saying ryan is a dumbass just the dumbass guys i’ve met us who i’m talking about)
i’m surprised no ones talking about the fact that haley had doubts about their relationship and they took a break? like no hate on people taking breaks, but to get engaged months later is sooo irresponsible. after a huge problem like that in a relationship you need time to grow over that.
Plus they are already living together, so what is the harm in giving it a full year of knowing this is who you want to spend your life with? You need more than 3 months of 'being really good' to commit your LIFE to someone. If you can't get through one year of constantly knowing that this is your person for life (which doesn't mean that you can't fight, it just means that above all you aren't contemplating ending things for a year), then you are not ready for marriage to that person.
Maddy exactly! the way ryan talks about their break (jealousy) makes me think that ryan is desperate to lock haley down. i think that they desperately need more time together, to see if haley gets in that doubting stage again. i won’t be surprised if in a couple years haley starts talking about her identity crisis again.
Maddy and of course the couple of months after the break are ‘really good’ because it’s essentially a honeymoon stage, they’re probably being as nice to each other as possible and trying not to rock the boat.
@@rubiowens1056 yes!! And the thing that’s important, is there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with a 19 yo having an identity crisis. That’s what your teens and young 20s are for because your brain isn’t even fully developed for goodnesses sake. That’s the blessing of being that young. Nobody expects you to have it figured out or to know that a guy you’re in love with is for sure your future. It’s unrealistic. Cold feet and questioning ending it and running away are NOT THE SAME THING. Marriage is legally binding, and being someone so passionate against divorce, she should tread lightly, because truthfully, she could end it all (the relationship, sell the house, the family channel...) and move forward just fine bc she is only a teen
That's exactly what I thought, like, if they love each other and they are completely committed, then why are they rushing into marriage? Like, that isn't going to go away. I also definitely feel like maybe Ryan got scared, or that after their break both got scared and decided to engage before something else happened in the relationship. That comment Haley made about her identity crisis also made me a little sad, she said that she wanted to go out and basically act her age, but she stopped herself because she is committed to this "mature" image she created. And it's like, honey, it's totally okay if you want to have experiences according to other girls your age. It's healthy. Even if it's just a little to experiment, it's not something hurtful.
i hope they can get over the obsession with being "more mature" than other people their age - it really seems to be driving all these poorly thought out decisions
Right?! I’m not bashing them or anything bu sometimes they jus have their heads so far up their own ass that they come off as arrogant. I hope this isn’t true but I get the feeling that they secretly think that they’re better than others their age.
That's so true! No matter how mature they think they are, at the end of the day they're only 19 and 21 and have barely entered adulthood, they still have a lot to learn.
i feel like ryan and haley think cash means maturity. just because you're thriving financially as a young person doesn't mean you have no room to grow in maturity emotionally. i really hope haley matures more because she honestly seems as the less ready to give love and grow up... even though that's lowkey her brand since she claims it so much
You absolutely put my thoughts into words!! Their main reasoning in advocating for not pursuing higher education was that they already have jobs and therefore money. So sad to me that they don't see the value of an education and the social and political growth college can offer.
I think they think they are mature because they are both over 18 and have money. They don’t know what real adulthood is like because they’re rich and don’t have ‘real’ day jobs, but they think they know what it’s like because they have a house, money and a business
@@kate-zh4ny he’s not even religious, the reason why they married so quick is because they wanna bone but Haley doesn’t wanna bone until marriage. Now Ryan has said he’s fine having sex before marriage but he’s not doing it with Haley because he respects her wishes and loves her. So probably would’ve waited more if that wasn’t the case.
Would you rather them having their brands being carefree with them *not* trying to be mature adults? Because that just results in what Logan and Jake Paul use to be.
It’s SO concerning to see how she’s surrounded by yes men which is why she can’t take constructive criticism. All the false info she was spreading during her podcast and lily would just say “yeah that’s true” and “yes I heard that too” is why she doesn’t try and educate herself and it hurts her audience. It’s sad really.
Maybe lily was just as uneducated. It’s so weird to reduce everyone around Hailey as a yes man when none of us have seen all her interactions with others.its hella demeaning
Ashlee Royster exactlyyyy, lmao! I really am curious what she even meant when she said “Europe”. I feel like those ppl often don’t even know where Europe is and that it’s not only one country but many, many countries which are so different from each other. I mean I am from the Czech Republic (Europe) but if I went to e.g. Poland, country we border with, the mentality would already differ a bit, even though we both are Slavic nations. I am not saying that I can name all US states and pinpoint where they are but at least I don’t live in the bubble Haley is living in.
Lana just because you have the money to buy a house does not mean you have the mindset to handle the responsibilities of house ownership. Considering that they haven’t even fully furnished their house (they still don’t have living room furniture) and they’ve already bought another house to “flip”, just shows how little mental capacity they both have for this type of responsibility.
I think a big part of why Haley thinks she is so mature is because she had to be a provider at such an early age. Most teenagers aren't providing for their parents. Having to take on that responsibility has forced her to have grow up a little. Granted I don't think that alone makes her mature enough for marriage.
Same here. There were people around me who had responsibility forced on them when they were teenagers. It made them feel more mature. Still, there's no substitute for age and experience.
as someone who’s literally older than ryan and haley, watching this video TERRIFIED me. her misinformation about birth control could make me cry too, i really hope no young girls ever ever take her advice. so damaging
As a Christian teen who plans on waiting until marriage, I agree. I’m still educating my self about my body and sex because I don’t want to be the naive friend. I’m okay being the clean friend, but I don’t want to be uneducated and misinformed.
@@respecttheduck4770 I know you've been told by all the adults around you that having sex before marriage makes you "dirty". It really, really doesn't though. I want you to know that your virginity doesn't define who you are as a person, not at all. Women who have sex before marriage aren't "dirty". Women are human and humans instinctually want sex. We're not any different from men in that regard. Be kind to yourself and your fellow women. :)
@@respecttheduck4770 more power to you but please know that having sex or being a virgin does not make you "dirty" or "clean". Sex is a normal part of human life and if you choose to share that experience with someone before marriage, you won't become an unclean person. A person's worth is way more than the act of having sex. And a person who abstains is not necessarily clean because they didn't have sex. A person's purity is not bound to their flesh, sex or physical attributes! Good luck with your endeavours and keep your head up
Shalom Antony thank you for such a kind response! Yes I do understand that. It’s a personal choice, and I’m not going to judge someone based off of their decision.
SenoritaBlahBlahBlah omg I didn’t realize I said “clean”. What I meant wasn’t that I’m pure or better, simply that I’m the friend who doesn’t swear or use a lot of innuendos. I just mean I’m okay with waiting, but if my friends don’t want to wait I’m not going to think they’re “dirty.” I’ll still be friends with them, whatever their decision. I feel like this response doesn’t really show what I actually mean, but I hope you know I don’t judge or belittle anyone, man or woman, based on their decision for sex.
bri we're trying so hard to move past these very out of time "traditions/practices"/mindset and they feed their very young impressionable audience with this 😔
Also their whole argument about how 17 year olds should also get married if they want to was so uncomfy like y’all know people are groomed and taken out of state to be wed and it’s illegal but it happens because of this mentality right
I feel like haylie lost herself somewhere in between leaving dance and her parents divorce. And that's why her "personality" is essentially being in a Relationship with Ryan, owning a house in Texas and being Christian. I also feel like this cause Haylie to be pushed into continuing a relationship with Ryan (accept the engagement proposal) because without him she would be lost because they would have to sell the house or one would have to buy the other out among other things.
In my personal opinion Her being a Christian isn’t a damaging thing to her But her saying she is and not showing it whatsoever in the proper way is a good argument
Yeah I felt like I was growing up with Haley watching her go to school/doing hw and dancing and then she was so quick to grow up ig. Now it feels like a whole brand or something to grow up while still being young
Cierra Dove Loves* yes! I followed her bc I felt like I could relate to her. She’s older than I am, and I saw her as a role model. Slowly I saw her grow into someone not very genuine. Like yes, some people get married early on and drop out of high school, but I can’t see how someone so immature can steadily take the things they are. I could never!!
“For the teacher to be stupider than the literal kids who watch my videos...” I never caught that the first time, but it’s kinda belittling to her fanbase tbh
omg i heard that and i was like thats a little rude to your fanbase might want to apologize and turns out a apology never came... maybe her fanbase didnt catch that...
I stopped liking her after she said that she doesn’t have STDS because she doesn’t get passed around like other girls because she has so many young followers...like she’s so wrong and immature idk why they think they’re mature just because they’re choosing to settle down
That is EXACTLY when I unsubbed amd unfollowed her as well. I'm not religious but I continued to watch her anyways. Then it felt like it was getting pushy and started taking an "I'm better than you" turn.
I really think one of the simplest and strongest points you made was "if you are not mature enough to research birth control, and you are not ready to raise a child, you are not mature enough to have sex. and if marriage is a necessary and sufficient condition to begin having sex, then you're probably not mature enough to get married either." in my opinion, it really blows any arguments they make about their maturity being linked to income, investments, home ownership, etc. out of the water. like if you are "mature" enough to purchase multiple properties and start businesses, why are you cringing at a discussion of sex on your wedding night and giving very clearly half-baked thoughts on birth control?
I think thats a bs point and only adds to the stigma that guys can have a say in whrn women have sex. He has nopoint here...? How do u know she just doesnt forget things on camera when she's nervous. Shes obviously talking w a doctor...and how do u guys know what they arent doing or talking about off camera?
@@sarabasargin6090 To me his comment was pretty applicable to males and females, I think his point is just that in general young people shouldn't reduce sex to just sex but think about the real life repercussions they need to consider comes with it and if they would be ready to deal with those responsibilities.
The way this video is marketed as a long essay about how Haley and Ryan are young dumb rich kids, and is, but also gives super in-depth advice about religious relationships, abstinence, pregnancy, age, buying a house, investments, contraception, social media, mental health, healthy relationships, and divorce cycles is absolutely insane. This is exactly how drama videos should be. Forever. It's not even like learning from them but learning so that we can correctly make better decisions for ourselves. Thank you sir.
Exactly what I was thinking, I learned so much valuable information from this video. I appreciate all the time and effort put into this to help Halie and Ryan but also the viewer.
fr people their age are more mature than them honestly. at least 20 year olds in college realize that this is their time to drink, party, and casually date instead of committing their life away to debt and marriage :/
kylie miller i get exactly what your saying except i hesitate to judge/compare the two lifestyles. each have different priorities and goals in life and i don’t think either is wrong. however, haley and ryan are one extreme by selling this toxic image to young viewers and claiming their mature and way ahead of the game than people their age due to marriage and buying a house. but not all young marriages are like this-look aspyn and parker!
@@kyliemiller173they made the right decision. Instead of crying over dumb situationships and drinking , they got married and are living peacefully and are happy with each other. Who are you to question their life choices.
i sincerely thought that not a lot of people thought this about them & you encapsulated every thought & emotion i’ve felt about them for the past rough year or so PERFECTLY. such a great commentary video fr! (i also learned a lot about the process of buying a house which is very useful for far in the future knowledge, thank you!)
yes!! i watched haley when i was in high school and i loved her and now a few years later i'm in college and i literally can't bring myself to watch her content anymore, and this summed up so much of why i fell away from her content, even though we're basically the same age so, hypothetically, her content should be "relatable" to me
“the thing is it’s not a western idea” “it’s more popular in europe” girl- I know you didn’t finish high school but you should know that the western world is EUROPE, the americas, and australia
Also can Americans stop acting like Europe is a country? Every single European country is super different, you can’t generalize it AT ALL! A Spanish person and a danish person are so crazily different.
haley seems so lost with no real identity. she places way too much emphasis on public appearance (her clothes, her insta) so much to the point it is cringey to watch. she changes constantly from fashion blogger to fitness girl to now real estate mogul and it comes off as her not knowing what the hell shes doing.
Isn't that the point of trying to find yourself? You can't just instantly know who you are without looking at or pursuing interests. How will she find her identity if people like you judge her for trying to find it ?
The “We already have a house together mentality” is as dumb and immature as my mentality at 15yo with my first boyfriend who was toxic af, I would be like “We’ve been together 2 years already so I can’t broke up with him bc it means I have wasted 2 years of my life so I guess there’s not turning back now”. I’m not saying their relationship is toxic, but the mentality is, and it concerns me so so much.
They’re essentially kids who happened to make enough money to buy a house. Just cuz you have the money doesn’t mean you should, and just cuz you CAN buy a house doesn’t mean you’re mature
Monica Diaz missing the point my friend. Maybe you are so happy and mature and able to buy a house and ready to get married, and that’s fine. But these two are saying they are ready to get married BECAUSE they have the money to buy a house, but that logic is bad, and is not a reason to get married.
For sure!! And this is already something super challenging for all long term couples, even older/more mature ones; my 30 y.o. sister was in a ~4 year partnership and absolutely miserable, but put off ending it for so long solely because cohabitating had fused their lives together to a point where she didn't know how to exist outside of it.
This!!! My theory is that toxic relationships are similar to cults. You feel like you can’t get away because you would be admitting that you made a huge mistake and wasted a long period of your life as well as money
she’s done so many questionable things, but she posted a vid that said “planning a wedding at 19 is stressful” girl I- just don’t get married at 19 lmaoooo
why is this so absolutely stunning? and just - engaging? like, im rewatching this 2 hour thing and I dont even know why. I could have never guessed this would be this, enlightening? and incisive? this is so fascinating. lol can you pls do this for more people because this is like a psychology thesis and for some reason im so into this.
I watched this not expecting to want to watch the whole thing but it was so informative! This man taught me more about mortages and real estate than school did
Also a big fallacy they've made is that "why not" is a valid reason with regards to the decision to get married. idk maybe it's just my opinion but i would not want to get married to someone if our main reason was "why not"
I think the reason why they feel the need to get married is bc they're "socially mature". They both seem to be successful TH-camrs that have been able to live independently from their parents. I know from haley this started when she was like 16 (17?) when she decided to move out. From what I could tell she just did bc she could (which seems like a running theme). And they both feel like this is the next step they need to take in life bc they've already completed the other steps that society expects adults to complete. If they really decide to go through with marriage rn they're not gonna last.
they said something along the lines of: they thought “why not” because before they were thinking that they shouldn’t get married yet. and then they realized there was no reason not to, because they knew they were right for each other and they basically already act married.
@@alainaelizabeth6394 Yeah that's true. honestly even if this guy's video is well made, I think it's very condescending and so what if they're making a mistake? Everyone does, they're just making a publicized one. It's no one's business why they get married or buy a house or whatever
Lavrnja you’re contradicting yourself by saying they publicize it and then it’s no ones business. If you put something out onto the internet then you’re going to get criticism and then blocking people who give them constructive criticism shows they aren’t ready and shouldn’t put so much of their relationship out in the public
@@jaiden494 That isn't a contradiction. If you read what I said, I said "everyone makes mistakes" but that theirs happens to be a publicized mistake. Plenty of people get married young and since they aren't celebrities, random dudes on the internet don't make videos about them. People are entitled to their opinion and no doubt they're gonna share it but that doesn't make it their business. There's a difference.
they remind me of sims characters. their life is too on track in the wrong sense. like oh you have a partner well you're gonna get married and you're making money so buy a house. idk something feels so off about them getting married. she's still technically a teenager and not that it's necessarily a maturity or relationship thing it's just weird to me.
They're the beginning of a legacy challenge when you get your sims married as soon as they become young adults because they need to have 5 kids to fulfill their lifetime wish
i'm not one to judge people to get married young because i honestly don't feel like i have the right to input myself in their situation, but when ppl overly document big choices in their life (moving in together, marriage, having a baby, etc.), it never really sits right with me. other youtube couples have said it before: where's the line between doing something for content and actually doing it because you want to/you're ready too?
i think it’s all about perspective. me & my bf are in the process of buying a home at 19/20. and we want to document and possibly post it as a form of like a diary, to look back on. and if it gets views hey it’s income right lol. but i can see where it might seem not genuine
i totally agree. constructive criticism keeps you grounded, and haley seems to be completely brushing it off. i feel bad watching this VERY YOUNG couple kind of ignore these very important points that were brought up in the video
Jenna Azeez ugh she just responded to someone under her last insta about it but we know from Ryan she hasn’t even watched it yet ... she said she’s not who she was last year like girllll so much stuff has happened within the past couple months!
Jen McQueeney exactly. she really should make a video about it and address it. everything seems super vague and ik she’s probably just processing it rn but something has to change.
@@JenMcQueeney she limited her insta comments - i don't think it was necessary - i haven't seen actual hate coming from this video, but she does tend to disable or delete comments about hate... idk maybe she needs time to process it, but i think its a little wrong to limit Instagram comments
What literally frustrates me the most is that Haley always making false claims about the medical community when she has no idea how it is even structured. Nurses are nurses, doctors are doctors, physician assistants are physician assistants. In no world are nurses doctors or doctors physician assistants. Now if someone is a nurse and decides to go back to school to get a medical degree then yes, that nurse can become a doctor. Or if a doctor wants to go back to school and get a nursing degree then yes, that doctor can become a nurse. But they all have different functions in the medical world and have different degrees.
IK it’s so crazy... like doctors are in MEDICAL school for typically about 13 years and nurses go to NURSING school for 4.. they both have completely different jobs, they just both work in the healthcare field
I think maybe she meant a nurse is still a medical provider, but yeah schooling/experience/certification determines your role in the medical hierarchy and what you’re legally allowed to implement as medical care. She is kind of ignorant about a lot of things and seems too arrogant to want to correct them.
SplitDecision my mom is a nurse LMAO no i’m not.. nurses work just as hard if not harder than doctors within the field and they are the backbone of hospitals. the point i was trying to make is that haley was expecting a nurse, who is not a doctor, to be a doctor. it’s unrealistic and totally unfair to nurses who already work so hard for patients
one thing i’ve noticed is that haley’s mom seems to act more like her friend rather than her mother and it’s so discouraging to see since there’s clearly SO much haley should have learned from her (sex ed, for example).
yikes.. if you know anything about Haley’s background w her family / how she grew up, you’d know all the things her mom sacrificed for Haley when she was growing up, which Haley’s made videos about before by interviewing her mom and sharing personal stories.. and Haley has always made it clear that since she is able to financially care for her mom, she will for the rest of her life to repay her. Plus, Haley’s no longer a teenager. So, yeah, they’ve probably reached a point where they can act more like friends now that they have far less financial struggle, the divorce of her parents is now a few years in the past, etc. CLEARLY, her mom is letting her make her own decisions w her body and w her relationship (for example).
You can tell that her mom didn't really go into the parenting world like she should have and that's why hailey seems to just jumped into church to guide her on her life. The "vibe" I get from her mom is one of "I *"sacrifice"* things for my child and now that I went through a divorce and have nothing; my child is an adult who get a big paycheck every month she can pick the slack and do whatever she wants as long as I get to go through my midlife crisis and get supported as if I was 12 years old"
@@mckennascherer8991 Haley never really HAD the choice to be financially responsible for her mom, she became the sole income through circumstance and even said it was a lot of pressure on her. Also, while it is kind for Haley to support her, a child should not be expected to 'repay' their parents for literally raising them, raising a child no matter the circumstance isn't about "sacrifice" it's about it being a parents responsibility. In the car video her mom literally talks about how she ASKED Haley for a specific expensive car, any normal parent would not expect their child to provide them such a luxury. its behavior like that that isn't about 'repaying', that's being selfish and asking too much from your child.
I'm actually... shocked at how misinformed she is about birth control. It doesn't surprise me based on her other decisions, but it is just a really bad move on her part to talk about it to such a young audience, ESPECIALLY without proper research. I find her decision to go on the patch very impulsive. It seems like she didn't really look into other options first. Nausea is a very common side effect for any hormonal birth control, because the estrogen in hormonal birth control upsets the stomach. This is normal and will typically go away within a week (according to a quick google search), but Haley just impulsively quit without fully trying to understand the side effects or consulting a doctor. Advocating for the period tracking method as an influencer is very dangerous, especially when your target audience is very young. The period tracking method is probably appealing to them because they don't have to go to a clinic or speak with a doctor when that is the complete opposite thing you should advocate for. I think having an influencer like her to talk about reproductive health and normalizing it could be something empowering, but instead, she is sharing harmful misinformation because she is so irresponsible that she can't even do proper research before talking about it publicly.
toko i totally agree. i’m still a big fan of Haley & Ryan but ik they have flaws & i agreed with a lot of the things in this video. when i watched her video about her getting birth control, i shocked at how little she knew about it. & im younger than she is!
My gynecologist hates the patch. It has one of the highest doses of hormones, and the lowest success rate for blocking pregnancy. The opposite of what you want. Plus it’s often used incorrectly and ugh I just wish she researched it more and didn’t promote it.
@@rickawads Mine too! I've tried 3 different birth control forms over the past 4-5 years (the pill, kyleena IUD, and nexplanon), and every gynecologist I've spoken with has dissuaded me from trying the patch. I wish Haley did more research on this subject, because birth control is something that you should really talk to a doctor for and explore all options before selecting one. She's so uneducated about it that it is really frustrating to listen to her speak on it.
As someone in their mid-twenties, watching Haley and Ryan try to preach their pseudo "sage" advice is painful. Even from the age of 19 to 24, I have changed and matured astronomically, and I still have so far to go. A major part of this was going to school, engaging in romantic relationships and learning about myself through them, experiences that Haley and Ryan have just decided to sidestep. You're a lot nicer about Haley than I could be. I honestly find her shockingly immature, even for a 19 year old. She espouses pretty harmful conservative values to her incredibly impressionable audience and it's just so difficult to watch. I'm honestly just so bored of all these suburban, Christian teen TH-camrs and their massive sterile mansions - the website it frankly oversaturated with them.
Hi, I definitely agree to this. I dislike the fact that Haley and Ryan preach about being mature when in reality, they are just privileged enough not to go to college or to be able to buy a house. And also, a stable source of income doesn't equate to maturity. Just because they skipped a couple years because they're "financially stable" doesn't mean they're mature. I agree with you that their content is just to difficult to watch and reeks of privilege
I agree. They are completely self righteous for no reason and they will NOT shut up about how "mature" they are. They aren't relatable at all, Haley just complains she had to do more than a normal teenager and Ryan doesn't know what he wants anymore.
The most annoying thing, for me, is the way they continuously claim how mature they are. Haley is only 2 years older then me and it shows. She still SEEMS like a high school student-because she practically is. I hope they realize how stupid their decisions are and somehow get themselves out of this mess, or otherwise things work out for them
right? and tbh it just comes off as if they’re affirming it to themselves more because if it was a thing they genuinely believed they wouldn’t feel the need to say it as much as they do. i could be wrong, but that’s the vibe i get
Whats crazy is the pressure might not even let him perform as this happens to many men during their first time and we already know how that’ll bruise her ego especially since shes not educated at all on the topic
Get this guy a Netflix documentary. Seriously, this is so informative and well-researched - I watched the whole thing. Thank you for taking the time to not only make great points but back it up with solid reasoning
he really did; it's amazing. But am I the only one wondering where this channel came from? Bc the channel has other videos that are entirely unrelated..I'm so confused, haha
@@iu.lia.na. ahh I see, yeah I was so confused while watching the video so I commented that before I finished. He did a great job, but that's understandable
i think hailey believing she can go to college just because she wants to is very naive. yes she maybe would have the money but she didn't finish high school.
I didn’t even realize she said this- I’ve never looked into applying for college without a high school diploma but I hope she understands that there are requirements to apply/to get accepted
THANK YOU FOR SAYING IT. If you are too immature to pursue birth control you’re too immature to have sex, and therefore to have children. So many teen girls are “scared” or embarrassed to go to the doctor, and that’s okay, but then just have unprotected sex and I-
Yuss! I really hope she understands her cycle, and how long sperm can live. And I hope she understands they will have to be abstinent for quite a chunk of each month to not have an unplanned pregnancy 🤰
This part absolutely baffled me because her lack of knowledge about birth control is insane, even for a girl her age. I've met many young girls who have this immature mentality surrounding sex and I could tell they weren't ready to have it but went ahead and used no protection and I can't help but shake my head.
Juleeuh right i’m so annoyed rn. My mom refuses to let me go to a gynaecologist and even get birth control and here she is calling herself mature but she is too embarrassed to even protect herself when she’s lucky enough to have the means
Inhle Cele I’m sorry you’re going through that :( yeah, I think the only reason to seek birth control online is if you don’t have insurance or the money, or you don’t have a way to get to an obgyn. Haley probably has insurance and the money, and no one is stopping her from going
Ryan is barely a college dropout. He only attended 2 months not even a full semester. Honestly, that college dropout video would've been better with someone who had gone to college for at least a year or two. And Haley has no right to talk about college. She didn't even graduate high school and that was bc she just didn't want to. Like how privileged are you that you feel secure without a high school diploma?
@Bella M yes, privileged. She was lucky that she could make a career out of posting about her life and interests. And that she could afford to feel stable enough to not get a diploma. Not many people are able to be in that position and aren't able to get a high school diploma bc of their social/economical situation. The only justification she had not to graduate (even though she only had 1/2 a year left, not that long) was bc her teachers supposedly didn't like her. Especially, after she faked cheating. Even though she didn't actually do it it's still not something to take lightly. She could've done other things like stick it out, switch to online school, switch schools completely, or get her GED instead. It's harmful to portray the idea of dropping out and "following your bless" bc it all depends on your situation. For a lot of people going into student debt is justifiable bc it incredibly increases their chance of social mobility. Education is the key to get out of generational poverty. And the people who are "successful dropouts" like bill gates or mark zuckerberg had the luxury of financial stability. So doing something like dropping out wasn't seen as too high risk. Also the fact that they were smart enough to get into ivy league colleges and had at least a high school diploma to fall back on.
@Bella M The TH-cam algorithm had finally worked in her favor. Not saying she didn't put in work on her channel but that doesn't mean there wasn't an element of luck that played into her success. I'd say making TH-cam videos is typically an easy job (production value varies from creator to creator) to have than a typical 9-5 job. Especially, ones you can only get with a high school diploma. And hard work does not always equal success there are other factors in play as well. And a GED/highschool diploma would increase her job prospects. It's incredibly important to have a plan b fall back on. Especially, if you are going into an unstable field like being an influencer. She has no guaranteed income bc it all depends on how many videos she makes and how many views she gets (also sponsorships/brand deals). It's irresponsible to go off on a whim that her channel will always be successful. And yes you do see other TH-camrs not go on to higher education. But that seems like a stronger trend with newer influencers bc it's now seen as a career path. But OG TH-camrs like Jenna Marbles still decided to get their degree even after getting success on youtube bc again you need something to fall back on.
@@BambiIves totally agree and like you originally said, the main issue is that she feels like she can tell her audience that college is not important, without ever acknowledging that shes in a very unique situation that basically only she and other youtubers can relate to
@@JenMcQueeney I can see that Haley had good intentions in instilling the "do what you want" mantra to her audience but it just comes off as entitled and tone deaf. Her story of success isn't a typical one. A very specific series of events occurred for her to be able to obtain her fame. So it's hard to use it as a universal learning tool on how to be successful.
I’ve thought about this a lot. Lily seems very sweet, but I don’t hear many substantive thoughts coming from her. She agrees with everything Haley says, and adds some info to it, though not very thought intriguing. They talk like pseudo adults lol. I hate being condescending as Lilly seems super sweet, but people need to critically think too. Just because you have a podcast doesn’t mean it’s interesting, I wonder what their podcast demographic is like. I assume it skews a lot younger toward people who don’t usually grapple with conflicting opinions.
In my opinion lily is doing a lot of it because is how much larger of a following Hayley has and so it benefits her and then it makes Hayley look good for doing stuff with someone without a lot of followers
ok tbh her lil side comment about doctors making money off providing birth control urked me so much like she was just trying to convince herself and us that somehow, the decision she made NOT to go to the doctors wasnt thaaaat bad bc “tHeY mAkE mOnEy” off it and that’s so disrespectful to all the hard work doctors have to put in to get thru school and med school and residency. While she sits here with her 5 min google search education and thinks she’s somehow better than thou like take a seat and just fully understand you were wrong Haley!
Agreed! I take birth control and am the furthest thing from sexually active (like haven’t even held hands with a guy). My doctor listened to me and thought hard about my case and respects me enough to prescribe me birth control in order to make my life better and healthier! I have the upmost respect for doctors who study for so so long. Yes, there are bad doctors but most I know are so attentive and respectful to their patients
lowkey worried too. i want their marriage to workout but she will get pregnant if she’s not careful. she said she wanted kids around her 30’s so that could be a problem for their marriage. i don’t think she would get an abortion either considering how “christian” she is
I feel like she undermines everything with this “it can’t be thAT bad” attitude and gets shocked when it happens. Such a harmful way to go on about life. She needs an actual parental figure :^(
@@brookehardingn i didn't even know she was married....now i found out shes not using birth control...i know who she is and used to watch her but I'm disappointed lol
Literally my old teen coworker told me, when she was pregnant and I asked why she hadn’t been using protection, “I tried the pill for a week but it made me feel nauseous so I went off it”. Girl now you’re nauseous for 9 months!!! At least with birth control, or at least I’m my experience the pill, you gotta let your body get used to it for a few months then you’ll feel mostly fine 🙄
I'm a casual viewer of ryan and (sometimes) haley, and honestly, I clicked this video to have a good scoff at the fact that somebody would make a 2+ hour video about them, but wow, that was enthralling. I've been kinda baffled by how quickly they're moving, but after hearing about their individual backgrounds, it makes complete sense. Interesting stuff. I respect the deep dive you took, ryan yerrow.
christian youth is quite crazy and out of touch with reality. the way she shames and talks about sex is also so harmful for young girls. why are you getting married if you cant even talk about sex? its embarssing to look at knowing the youth following she has.
Isabela Moore sorry, i totally should’ve mentioned that i meant the people that are similar to how she behaves, or really anyone that shames people for sex, orientation, sexuality, etc. i don’t mean christian youth in the way that you guys are mentioning yourselves! sometimes it’s the organized religion that is the issue, and not the fact that anyone follows god. i’m not religious or believe in anything for a lot of reasons, but christianity is based in love and acceptance - and it’s not what i get from her :/
Alicia Grimes Despite being taught to speak love, we are also taught to shed light on the truth and God’s word, which you can better understand by reading the gospel. Christianity definitely isn’t about “love and acceptance” but more so serving, praising, and telling others of our God. We can’t pretend to turn a blind eye to many sins and be all about acceptance, which is being more worldly and Christian.
Kapush Cinema i’m not reading the gospel anymore but thank you for voicing why many people do not follow a religion who doesn’t practice speaking love and picks and chooses “sins” to smite people over.
did i just watch a 2 hour video about them. yes. I have been trying to find someone that was just as confused by them buying a house to flip when they have no expierience lol
@@lydie9992 because people who flip houses usually have some practice and they learn how to make it work. All the designing shes done is for her room? lmao
Alisha Naqvi I dont think a degree is necessary in order to start something but you’re right, i think she is rushing into a huge project when she hasn’t even fully explored real design within her own spaces.
Alisha Naqvi no one gets a degree in flipping houses. If you go to any investment convention the experts will all encourage you to just go for it and take the first risk in order to gain the experience and learn.
it's honestly really scary that she doesn't seem to have gotten sex ed in school. i got it from 6th till 8th grade and then also in my senior year of hs. the fact that her mom isn't giving her advice (at least not that we know of) and ryan isn't helping her either, is just,,, WHAT? i love them both, i really do, but seeing the culmination of everything is insane.
Ashia Rose I remember my health teacher talking trash about this one student’s family member who was a teen mom. The fact that they would do everything but talk about the real world and the ins and outs about sex is sad. And yes parents don’t take it serious and kids turn to the internet.
Chaengie ఌ I think what they are trying to say and correct me if I’m wrong, is that they are trying to “run” their relationship like a collab. It’s almost as if their relationship is a brand and not an actual relationship.
As a 21 years old engaged to a 22 years old, I actually take a lot from this video personally. I arguably have a very different situation than Hailey and Ryan (we've known each other for 10 years, he's working full time, I'm moving on to my masters and we are definitely not conservatives lol), your perspective on their relationship made me think a lot about maturity and marriage at a young age. I'll discuss the topics covered in your 31 questions with my significant other and I'm hoping to have a great conversation. So yeah, that probably wasn't your first intention when posting this, but thank you for providing those thoughts and helping me grow!
Same with me, I'm 19 and my Bf is 20 and we've been together for 3.5 years. I never comment on yt videos but we've been trying to figure out how to go about our future/ growing up and maturing together and this video really helped me figure out my priorities and even changed my perspective from wanting to get married in my early 20's to my mid 20's. Definitely want to discuss the questions at the end with him and I think this video is a great resource for 21st-century young couples in serious relationships because most advice on this subject is from the 1950s haha.
I got married at 22 and no regrets. Knew on the first date “yeah I could spend forever with this guy” which is crazy, but I just knew it. Waited till marriage (he was not a virgin) and have no regrets. Everyone is so different and I hope it works for Ryan’s and hailey. Congrats to you guys and good luck! Always over-communicate lol
I got married at 19 and purchased a house with my husband at 20. I also took a lot of the comments personally, but it allowed me to reflect a lot on myself too. I look forward to watching your video.
Ex-casual viewer of Ryan and Haley, was horrified when the birth control episode of Call Me Candid came out and left a long, respectful comment addressing the misinformation and why it should be corrected. Was promptly blocked and watched other dissenting comments being deleted before my eyes. I had thought Haley and Lilly Ann, though young and very bought-in to the mindset of toxic positivity, would be open to respectful feedback. I had genuinely liked their content in a sort of escapist way prior to the episode. I was so disillusioned (and unable to voice my concern), so I stopped watching. Can't thank you enough for taking your concerns and delivering such a respectful, well-researched, and comprehensive video that not only treats Ryan and Haley with empathy but also encourages them to reflect hard on how they are using their enormous platforms to encourage dangerous and unhealthy mindsets for their mostly young and impressionable viewers. I didn't think I'd watch the whole 2 hours but I watched it all. Beautifully delivered, and with a level of compassion that these individuals unfortunately seem to lack.
my comment on the birth control episode was also deleted and they blocked me too lol. funny how they say they're open to constructive criticism, yet they block anyone who dares to respectfully call them out for broadcasting misinformation and ignorance to their young audience. none of the deleted comments were even hate comments either, they were all just concerned fans trying to hold them to a higher standard
I wouldn't be surprised at all if they jumped into having a child right after their marriage and make that child the inspiration for their new content...
yea i hate when people base their content off of their children it just seems so weird like shouldn’t you be more focused on raising your children rather than using them for views?
That’s when I’ll really stop watching. I hate family vloggers who exploit their child and make it the center of their content. Like, raise your child without having it be in the spotlight.
She deleted my comment on her Instagram asking why she was not social distancing lol. It’s disappointing seeing smaller, “unproblematic” influencers like her avoiding critique.
I’ve commented about this a few times. She boasts about how she and Ryan wont be the couple to have a “long engagement” which just means she’s planning this wedding with no regard for the pandemic/social distancing. She and Ryan have a large circle of friends, all of whom do not wear masks/social distance, so I expect the wedding to go similarly. No one really knows when this pandemic is going to be officially over, and as an iNflUenCEr, she should be leading by example and not showcasing her planning one of the most irresponsible things you could be doing right now,,,
Gianna Martin yes, the fact that she’s really expecting to have her wedding soon is really bad. Like the fact that she and Ryan doesn’t wear a mask is wrong, like that’s the least they could do.
Their wedding is on November 8th, and if I read correctly, Austin is banning all big gatherings through Christmas. So idk how they are going to legally have the wedding
Linzy Metzger Texas is “opening up” (as if we’ve been quarantining this whole time but I guess I didn’t get the memo) but cities like Austin and Houston have rules about large crowds.
the birth control situation pissed me off so much. she spread so much false information to her young audience and it really showed how uneducated she is.
The Mango that doesn’t justify it. she is an influencer and she should know better than to spread information that she clearly hasn’t educated herself on. saying you can get only pregnant 6 days out of the month is so stupid.
i really hope he sees this. I’m 15 and christian and i looked up to haley and lily quite a lot and this video has really made me think and probably has shaped some decisions i’m gonna make when i’m older. The birth control section really made me think. thank you
I agree completely, I am 15 and Christian as well and I’ve been a fan of Haley for quite some time, but I kept an open mind to his criticism. I’m glad this video was so educational as I’ve learned a lot from it.
Me aswell. I had been thinking about love and all recently and I found that like haley I can be very naive from this video, a great eye opener really. Personally I feel I'm very goal driven, which has recently came to my attention, never really thought I was but I guess I have been, but that isn't what life is about truly, I feel like haley kind of holds those values too which can come to her demise sometimes. Taking life slowly is truly a gift that we all have we just need to unlock our true selves. All the love to you guys, I wish you a bless journey! 💕💕
"if someone wants to get married at 17, thats their timeline" um WHAT? 17 is a MINOR. A CHILD. they cant CONSENT. istg saying that "everyone has their own timeline" is true to an extent, but this is because life "milestones" require emotional maturity that they clearly lack.
i dont know Yo!!! I’m a 17 year old guy and tbh I am not ready for marriage yet. Especially at this age, like let me graduate HS first. And go to college before living with someone forever and raise kids. (Or a pet). I can’t even raise myself yet. 😭😭😭

ok but its true tho..if theres no egg to fertilize you can't get pregnant lol but sperm can last living for 5 days and you can ovulate later than usual and theres a point where the ovulation period can be altered (stress, alcohol, getting off birth control, etc) so if you track your cycle you need to refrain for longer than a week or 2 even for precaution, not just 2-3 days.
Eleanor no lol you can only get pregnant during ovulation that’s the entire fertilization process, it’s just sperm has the ability t stay for up to 5 days
It’s crazy to me that they genuinely believe that hard work for a few years makes them entitled to a 1.5 MILLION dollar house when that is SO far out of reach for endless amounts of people that work hard their whole lives. It’s all just so disconnected.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention that her friend who does the podcast with her also got married young and probably played an influence in Haley’s decisions
yeah I agree I feel like she thought it was the same even thought they have been dating for like 5 years, they waited until her fiancé was out of college, and has an established business outside of social media.
yeah but also her friend doesn’t really seem like the type to influence anyone to do anything. but I’m sure Haley saw their relationship and maybe wanted something like that
Also I think her bastardized views based off her religious aspects, maybe also even being whitewashed, and overall ignorance for a lot of things she tries to speak on, those things alone probably influence her decisions lol
She's okay with rebranding herself as his wife, boasting with pride that they're mature enough to handle marriage so young, but is afraid and uncomfortable by PDA? Even when he openly said it hurts him? Make it make sense.
i haven't seen anyone else comment on this -- did you notice when he was genuinely talking about how her rejection of his physical affection hurts him she was LAUGHING???
To be fair.. a lot of people are uncomfortable with PDA. I don’t take that as a sign of her immaturity, but I think it points to her Christian views of being “good” and “pure”.
@@danafradi8607 I can sympathize with people with higher anxiety levels, don't get me wrong. But, not only is she hurting him by not even being able to hold his hand, especially when basic affection like that seems to be the only physical and intimate contact that the relationship gets, but she is majorly contradicting herself. You cannot be mature and an adult if you cannot listen and empathize with your partners needs too. Christain or not, that is very childish. Also, it's incredibly phony that you rebrand yourself and your content to being a future wife, when you cannot even give someone a kiss on the cheek in public. You cannot make a point on the internet by deleting comments online that are not hate, but legit critiques. You cannot say that people are projecting themselves into your relationship, when you are establishing a personality on social media as someone else.
@SplitDecision I'm not going to debate with someone who thinks 1. I was insulting them by critiquing a flaw they fail to realize, which is what the video is about, proving to me that you didn't watch it or comprehend, and 2. Someone who thinks "make ya face make sense," is an insult. I will leave with this. My comment, and this video, is pointing out the fact that those "kids" think they're adults, and are possibly making huge mistakes financially as well as mistakes that might harm them mentally and emotionally in the future. None of this was hate, I was a fan of Haley up until a year ago, when I noticed her personality was lacking and quickly becoming selfish and recycled. Seeing her decline and become so arrogant is heartbreaking. The fact that you portrayed my comment to be out of malice, without failing to understand my point, proves your character to me instantly.
I can’t even begin to understand how much work was put into this video. From the research, compiling of video clips, voice overs, to the editing. This video was so well done and very educational. It made me asses my relationship with my own serious boyfriend and I’ll be asking him some of the 31 questions because they’re things I haven’t really considered. I’m sad this video isn’t reviving the credit it deserves. I liked the video due to the amount of time put into it and the amount of education presented in an unbiased format. Great job!
Okay, This video to me was like a slap in the face of Reality. I know it was meant for Ryan and haley but as an 18 year old whos been watching Haley grow since 14, in a way their life has been glamorised from buying their house and dropping out and getting married young, which is all amazing! But seeing the adult 'truth' almost, the financial risks, just the actual real life impacts made me realise that the life i'd been kind of idolising isn't realistic. I shouldn't feel bad for being 18 and going to uni instead of dropping out and making something of myself so I can buy my house at 19. And I don't blame them for painting this picture unintentionally, but I guess I just realised my life isn't a failure if I'm not some entrepeunaral success at 18, and that buying a house is hard and complicated! And relationships are complex! But at the end of the day, theyre young and so am I, and they'll probably make more mistakes as will all of us.. but, this definitely takes some weight of the shoulders and was weirdly really smart & educational so.. thanks. I also have alot of empathy for these young people and a video dissecting me like this would be soul crushing, so let's correct them out of love in the comment section
That’s really good that you’ve recognized that! 1st of all even if Haley and Ryan were mature enough to get married or made good decisions, that still does not mean your life choices are bad whatsoever or mean you’re not successful. I personally think at any age, college/ getting a degree where you’ll get work afterwards is a good idea. Regardless everybody is on their own path, I’m going down the same road you are, and if other people chose differently that doesn’t invalidate your choices. I’ve realized similar things to yours from this video and I also agree with you saying to be respectful towards them because this type of video could be very hard for them to see, Ryan actually said that exact thing on his insta story. Anyways good luck to you ❤️❤️

Like its a normal thing for people in my small rural hometown to get married amd have children right out of high school. Im pretty sure we're all watching this with love, I used to really like Ryan a lot, I stopped watching after he started his relationship with Haley because I felt something was different and it left a weird taste in my mouth. I agree, as much as I believe this is something them and a lot of people need to hear, i cannot imagine what it must be for them to sit thru such an in depth video essay about their lives (that they publicly put out for) Have their parents watched this video? I wonder🤔

True. The way she was talking about it just seemed completely out of touch in general though. Like, I'm pretty sure most people actually care about their homes and find comfort in them regardless of whether they work from home or not.
I appreciate that you’re not one of those people who just likes to slam on them because they’re definitely not following the norm of relationships nowadays, and instead you upfront state that you’re trying to offer helpful criticism so things don’t go badly for them, and you’re not trying to get them to break up but instead just hit pause and wait. @@bekinddrinkwater but looking at it logically the only thing haley should apologize for is what she said about contraception. That's pretty much it. Why does he need to bring up the other stuff? Very intrusive in my opinion
I really don’t care if Haley or Ryan watch this, but I do hope their fans give this video a chance so as to unlearn some of the problematic life and medical lessons they teach on their platform. I played this video as background noise, but around halfway through, I was hooked. Even as a 25 year old woman, I learned something new. It’s also so obvious that these two are basically playing house and it’s really hard to hear them talk about life as if they have the perspective and experiences of a couple so much older. A mature 19 year old is still a 19 year old. Being an adult is far less glamorous than they make it seem and it’s honestly a privilege for them to decide they’re not kids anymore when some people don’t get that choice.
okay i just finished this video, and i don’t understand how this is your first video essay! it’s so insanely good and well put together. i can’t imagine how long it must have taken to put this together, just letting you know that we appreciate it :)
I think outside of the Christian religion there are benefits to practicing abstinence. But as a Christian woman, I think the way that Christian parents refuse to talk to their children about sex is dangerous. My parents made sure to talk to me about sex before I even had my first period and many times after that to reinforce my knowledge and understanding of sex, my reproductive system, and the consequences of sex (the pain, STDs, pregnancy, emotional consequences, etc). I consider myself blessed (or lucky if you will) that my parents took their time out to educate me and I wish other parents, Christian or otherwise, would do the same. I would think that it would be better to let your children make educated decisions rather than hide this information from them until it's too late.
I completely agree. Ever since I was young we were never allowed to talk about sex or practicing safe sex, at my house. The conversation was just, don’t have it until you’re married end of discussion. Everything I learned about sex came from the Internet or books I read. This video gave me so much more knowledge on birth control which was also a subject I have never been taught about.
My parents were both virgins at 40 when they met and got married, both were raised Christian, not going to lie my mum came to me at 17 to give me the sex talk and I had to educate her. So to follow this statement, if you feel your parents aren't giving you the information you require or as a parent you feel you don't know enough to fully educate, educate yourselves together.
i cannot believe ryan expressed his very real and true feelings on how when haley rejects him for PDA things and how deeply it hurts him, the other people and his girlfriend LAUGH? man he should have ran.
This is why I came to watch this video. I’d never watched her content until literally this month. And the way she physically reacts to him expresses disgust but her face expresses happiness? Confusing……..
@@christianbosse_ She was probably raised strict Christian. I was raised in a Christian cult and it took over 10+ years of therapy to help me be comfortable with intimacy. I was taught it was wrong and would often give mixed signals.
I've been watching Ryan and Haley for a long time and have been confused as to why I've been almost fascinated with the bad taste they've been leaving. I couldn't put my finger on it, but this video is really spot on. It's almost like they're "playing the part" of an adult for their audience but instead of coming across as inspirational role models their performance is shallow and misguided. I came to this video expecting a hate piece but I stayed the whole way through because it was more influential towards my thoughts on marriage, money, and maturity than any of the shit Ryan and Haley have been spewing. Keep it up, I'd love to see more videos like this on the platform! As evidenced, educated people educating the masses is in fact important!
Savvy Grace me too! I couldn’t get myself to unfollow them because it’s so fascinating to see them navigating thru the criticism lol. I also loved this video, it made me reflect on so many things
M. Josena people usually talk about their opinions on podcasts and it’s more unfiltered so people are more likely to cancel them if they don’t like their opinions.
I cannot stress how true this is. People who get into podcasting with an established platform need to watch what they’re saying.. they all ramble too much and it’s not because we can’t see you that we’re tone deaf
I literally wish I made this video. I have never agreed so whole heartedly with something and your argument style is one I strive to have; bringing up criticism while maintaining an understanding of your own bias. I have seen a few of each of their videos and when I saw they were getting married it came as a total shock. This perfectly explains the sheer bewilderment so many of us have felt while watching them make risky choices. This video should be studied, good on you bro!!
Honestly laughed at why someone would make a 2 hour video on them and take hours and hours to edit it because I know how much goes into editing but I watched the whole thing. It was actually pretty spot on and I wish she took accountability for her mistakes. (Coming from a hardcore fan who’s subscribed, follows her on Instagram, and listens to her podcast).
dee penelope I agree! I was a daily viewer of Haley but unfollowed her after the whole Greece incident. I always had a “bad” feeling of her but I just ignored it.. keep in mind I watched her in her early days with her dance videos...
She has taken accountability for her mistakes, and if you follow her you’d know she has been trying to grow as person and be better for a while now (just like we all are as we grow and mature as people). I think that growth has shown in her videos as well. Im not why people are trying to pick apart people on the internet for being human beings who learn and grow.
@@lydie9992 unfortunately some of this is chalked up to them being in the public eye, hence their shortcomings are more visible. however i don't think the problem is people picking them apart for being humans, i think it is more an assessment of their overall maturity. We all understand that as humans we'll make plenty of mistakes and those are opportunities to learn and grow, however, just because you acknowledge those mistakes 1) doesn't mean you are ready for marriage 2) doesn't mean you are responsible enough to make big financial decisions and (most importantly) 3) doesn't mean you are exempt from being (rightfully) called out. And the fact that they (and their fanbase) see constructive criticism as personal attacks (which can be deleted) and pass blame unto "circumstance" is just indicative of the bigger problem: they do not take true accountability for their actions and *aren't mature enough to acknowledge their immaturity*. and the fact that they are considered role models for a young, impressionable audience means they do need to be careful about how they present themselves and need to be ready to take responsibility for their actions.
I am so glad you made this! I agree with e v e r y t h i n g you said. She’s been driving me crazy ever since she dropped out, and I used to love her. I want to scream when she talks about reproductive health.
Same!! I used to be such a fan of hers but slowly over the years as I’ve kept up with her I’ve realized how out of touch she is and how detrimental her “life advice” is for her younger audience! I’m glad I’m old enough to realize that she isn’t the best person to be taking advice from...
I know exactly what you mean. Her content has irked me a lot lately as well. Especially the amount of entitlement she carries while spreading misinformation. Like, girl, if you want to drop out of high school, fine. However, please make it ABUNDANTLY clear to your young impressionable followers that they should not also drop out of high school or opt-out of college just to follow your example!
this may be a low criticism, and maybe i just don’t understand this personality because i’m so different from her, but i can’t help but notice that the general way in which haley carries herself is very... juvenile? she just seems very immature to me. and not relationship wise but mainly in her humor and words. when she was talking about the wedding night and making noises and faces it was just so middle school 😭 like queen needs to do some growing up in ALL areas of life before she continues down this speed run of adulthood 😭
She never graduated high school and is therefore very stuck in that mentality. Her friends are also all still in high school or drop outs themselves. She may not be in high school but she’s built a high school like environment around her. She is not maturing socially even if she does make “mature” life choices.
She started using a baby voice when she first got spoke and then she started using it all the time and now Ryan does it too and I cringe so hard whenever they talk like that
I support Yerrow the most now, I barely support Haley anymore and Ryan’s videos are honestly still pretty good so I still watch him. I feel like Ryan’s changes are because of Haley though.
Woah wait I'm planning on watching the full 2 hrs but was I wrong to think Haley had completed her G.E.D from home or something. I know she's now studying for her realtor license now and idk if that's a prerequisite...I knew she left physically going to school but I always thought she home schooled. This is hella sad to hear man. Other thoughts: 1. As Ryan was not Christian before he met Haley I still never fully believe that he is 100% as religiously devoted as Haley is. As someone who considers herself Christian I feel like this is going to cause him to resent her later. 2. The way they equate financial freedom to age earned maturity is a bad influence to their younger fans. 3. Piggybacking off #2 buying a house and sharing business assets with a partner you are not yet married to and both young enough to not understand the consequences if it doesn't work out is extremely fiscally irresponsible. 4. Haley promoting tracking her period as a safe form of birth control is extremely irresponsible to the point where if she she was planning on doing so she should never have shared it. People look up to her as couple goals with Ryan and her lack of education about sex bc she doesn't think she needs to as God will let pregnancy "happen" at the right time is so disheartening to see.
Yeah the fertility awareness method isn't strongly recommended. Especially, for people who don't wanna be pregnant soon. Also you have to do more than just track your period. You have to check your temperature and vaginal mucus daily. And you have to constantly take ovulation tests to make sure your ovulation days do match up with your fertility calendar.
@@BambiIves exactly! if me, a 14 year old, has basic knowledge of this from doing sex ed in school, it seems that nobody in haley's life has educated her about this stuff. even if her school didn't because it was influenced by religion, i don't get why her mum didn't teach her; it would have been so helpful for her daughter! 🤦♀️
@@bharathi2128 some parents believe that it's the school's job to teach their kids about their body's (which is partly true). Though that doesn't mean you shouldn't talk about it at all. As someone who's recently graduated as an interior architect I cannot tell you how much I CRINGED when they talked about their "interest in interior design". I might be wrong but it doesn't seem far from "I want to make houses look like they're from pinterest" which is nowhere near being able to design a functional and cohesive living space and makes me worried about the future of their business.
hi its aria I really think they think that magnolia home from target will be the driving force of their real estate careers (lol) also chip and joanna gaines are not great role models as designers bc like 90% of the shit on their show isn’t even designed by them. like idk if they think hgtv is real life but I guess they’re gonna find out the hard way it is NOT easy and the budgets on hgtv and other stuff like that are also so skewed and unrealistic lmao

she rlly thinks 13 yr olds used to deliberately want to get married?? they were forced to marry old men
that comment she made irked me so much. it reeks of lack of education about the topic
and even it wasn't forced, the average life span back then was shorter. 13 would be a much higher age if it was scaled to current age span
Maybe not 13 but close
I just don't think they understand that you get married and get a house because you're mature, you're not mature because you got married and got a house
ooooooh this
YES EXACTLY
well said
Well said
Wow
when haley says it used to be popular in society to get married at 13 and have kids at 14,,, that was MAJORLY attributed to literal children being married to men DECADES older than them as a status boost / to create heirs. 14 year olds were not marrying other 14 year olds they were marrying middle aged / elderly men. that is NOT an example worth striving for / citing as a way to justify your marriage. like. oh my god.
EXACTLY i’m highkey disgusted that she related her own marriage to parents selling their children to be raped centuries ago

No but really tho. I've been wondering what happens to your mortgage when you move
i’m surprised no ones talking about the fact that haley had doubts about their relationship and they took a break? like no hate on people taking breaks, but to get engaged months later is sooo irresponsible. after a huge problem like that in a relationship you need time to grow over that.
Even if it's just a little to experiment, it's not something hurtful.
i hope they can get over the obsession with being "more mature" than other people their age - it really seems to be driving all these poorly thought out decisions

yh same and hardly anyone in their 20s is married
also just because you buy a house at 18 and make a living as an influencer doesn't mean you are more mature than other people your age. how offensive.
also i feel like Ryan looks really uncomfortable in a lot of his vids w haley
It does because a house is a huge responsibility and how many people their age an you say are ready to take that on?
@@unknown-jd3dz having the monetary means to buy a house is very different from having the mindset/maturity to buy a house
@@linadams1965 period
They do know that most people back then that got married at a very young age wasn't on their own accord right????
@bri exactly what I thought when I read the title
exactly! even now, child marriages in the US are still legal and are almost always done consensually because kids can't give consent. it's so sad.
bri we're trying so hard to move past these very out of time "traditions/practices"/mindset and they feed their very young impressionable audience with this 😔
Also their whole argument about how 17 year olds should also get married if they want to was so uncomfy like y’all know people are groomed and taken out of state to be wed and it’s illegal but it happens because of this mentality right
Yeah, I've found that a lot of older people had shotgun weddings. It was just a marriage of convenance.
Side note: why was this video so educational 😭 I learned about real estate, sex, birth control, and the female anatomy🤚🏼
Deadass tho😭😭
fr tho the school system really said no 😭😭😭
Literally me, we be learning from people's mistakes
this what i was thinking lmaoooo
um, true
I feel like haylie lost herself somewhere in between leaving dance and her parents divorce. And that's why her "personality" is essentially being in a Relationship with Ryan, owning a house in Texas and being Christian. I also feel like this cause Haylie to be pushed into continuing a relationship with Ryan (accept the engagement proposal) because without him she would be lost because they would have to sell the house or one would have to buy the other out among other things.
In my personal opinion
Her being a Christian isn’t a damaging thing to her
But her saying she is and not showing it whatsoever in the proper way is a good argument
“For the teacher to be stupider than the literal kids who watch my videos...” I never caught that the first time, but it’s kinda belittling to her fanbase tbh
very VERY MUCH throwing everyone including her own fans under the bus just because she didn’t get what she wanted. very mature!! lOL
hi ashley & YEAH its soo condescending
the fact that she said “stupider” too...
omg i heard that and i was like thats a little rude to your fanbase might want to apologize and turns out a apology never came... maybe her fanbase didnt catch that...
Abby Mejia wait when did she say that
I stopped liking her after she said that she doesn’t have STDS because she doesn’t get passed around like other girls because she has so many young followers...like she’s so wrong and immature idk why they think they’re mature just because they’re choosing to settle down
Right.... you can get stds from anything
That is EXACTLY when I unsubbed amd unfollowed her as well. I'm not religious but I continued to watch her anyways. Then it felt like it was getting pushy and started taking an "I'm better than you" turn.
She said this???? That is so horrible....
chhhangggee ! Yup she did and later deleted the video. I unsubscribed before that
She’s so immature for her age another turn off should’ve been how she spoke about her Greece trip whew.
YES THIS COMMENT!9
“we’re so much more mature than people our age” no sweetie, y’all just got rich early.
fr people their age are more mature than them honestly. at least 20 year olds in college realize that this is their time to drink, party, and casually date instead of committing their life away to debt and marriage :/
kylie miller You can drink and party at any age. Also not everybody enjoys that lifestyle.
kylie miller i get exactly what your saying except i hesitate to judge/compare the two lifestyles. each have different priorities and goals in life and i don’t think either is wrong. however, haley and ryan are one extreme by selling this toxic image to young viewers and claiming their mature and way ahead of the game than people their age due to marriage and buying a house. but not all young marriages are like this-look aspyn and parker!

haley seems so lost with no real identity. she places way too much emphasis on public appearance (her clothes, her insta) so much to the point it is cringey to watch. she changes constantly from fashion blogger to fitness girl to now real estate mogul and it comes off as her not knowing what the hell shes doing.
I don’t think she needs an identity. Everyone’s allowed to change even in marriage, either the relationship will adapt or it won’t
she’s allowed to have more than one interest. lol
@@theodorusjtg4891 The problem this person is stating is not the many interests, it is the lack of an identity.

Omg my 15 yo self feels very attacked

Plenty of people get married young and since they aren't celebrities, random dudes on the internet don't make videos about them. i'm not one to judge people to get married young because i honestly don't feel like i have the right to input myself in their situation, but when ppl overly document big choices in their life (moving in together, marriage, having a baby, etc.), it never really sits right with me. other youtube couples have said it before: where's the line between doing something for content and actually doing it because you want to/you're ready too?

they said in their video that they want to document all the big things that happens in their life so they can go back and watch it with their kids
The sad thing is if Haley were to see this she wouldn’t even stop to consider any of it
She posted on her story that Ryan is only showing her positive DMs about it.... so so typical
i totally agree. constructive criticism keeps you grounded, and haley seems to be completely brushing it off. i feel bad watching this VERY YOUNG couple kind of ignore these very important points that were brought up in the video
Jenna Azeez ugh she just responded to someone under her last insta about it but we know from Ryan she hasn’t even watched it yet ... she said she’s not who she was last year like girllll so much stuff has happened within the past couple months!

Did she really just say that Europe wouldn't be included if talking about a "Western ideal"?? The lack of a GED is showing
one thing i’ve noticed is that haley’s mom seems to act more like her friend rather than her mother and it’s so discouraging to see since there’s clearly SO much haley should have learned from her (sex ed, for example).
yikes.. if you know anything about Haley’s background w her family / how she grew up, you’d know all the things her mom sacrificed for Haley when she was growing up, which Haley’s made videos about before by interviewing her mom and sharing personal stories.. and Haley has always made it clear that since she is able to financially care for her mom, she will for the rest of her life to repay her.
The "vibe" I get from her mom is one of "I *"sacrifice"* things for my child and now that I went through a divorce and have nothing; my child is an adult who get a big paycheck every month she can pick the slack and do whatever she wants as long as I get to go through my midlife crisis and get supported as if I was 12 years old"
@@nick_434 this is accurate af, coming from someone who used to be the biggest fan of her
@@mckennascherer8991 Haley never really HAD the choice to be financially responsible for her mom, she became the sole income through circumstance and even said it was a lot of pressure on her.
So agree with this and lol the satisfaction from getting the comment from 999 to 1K is everytime
I wonder how long she’s gonna ignore her mistakes before publicly apologizing
I feel like everything they have done has been super impulsive
Let me say this for all their young viewers... having money, buying homes and getting married DOES NOT MAKE YOU MATURE.
Yep moving out of your parents house and working is what makes you mature
And it doesn’t give you a pass to market whatever you want on the internet 🙃
Amber Knabe they did do that? TH-cam is a job and they both run their merch stores

THANK YOU FOR SAYING IT. If you are too immature to pursue birth control you’re too immature to have sex, and therefore to have children. So many teen girls are “scared” or embarrassed to go to the doctor, and that’s okay, but then just have unprotected sex and I-
Say it louder for the people in the back
I think it’s more of flying too close to the sun than feeling privileged
honestly is annoying how the friend Lilly in the podcast only agrees with Haley on everything, even when she says the most uncorrect things...
ikr, she needs a friend who gives her tough love and holds her accountable
llaleira I think that’s because Lilly seems like a genuinely sweet and nice person and Haley knows that and uses her
I’ve thought about this a lot.

She thinks the nausea is bad on birth control? Girl, good luck when you get pregnant.
lowkey worried too. i want their marriage to workout but she will get pregnant if she’s not careful. she said she wanted kids around her 30’s so that could be a problem for their marriage. i don’t think she would get an abortion either considering how “christian” she is
I feel like she undermines everything with this “it can’t be thAT bad” attitude and gets shocked when it happens. Such a harmful way to go on about life. She needs an actual parental figure :^(

Literally my old teen coworker told me, when she was pregnant and I asked why she hadn’t been using protection, “I tried the pill for a week but it made me feel nauseous so I went off it”. Girl now you’re nauseous for 9 months!!! At least with birth control, or at least I’m my experience the pill, you gotta let your body get used to it for a few months then you’ll feel mostly fine 🙄

christian youth is quite crazy and out of touch with reality. the way she shames and talks about sex is also so harmful for young girls. why are you getting married if you cant even talk about sex? its embarssing to look at knowing the youth following she has.
I’m a Christian youth and i think her views are very out of line from Christian views. She doesn’t seem very mature and isn’t good for ryan
Isabela Moore sorry, i totally should’ve mentioned that i meant the people that are similar to how she behaves, or really anyone that shames people for sex, orientation, sexuality, etc. i don’t mean christian youth in the way that you guys are mentioning yourselves! sometimes it’s the organized religion that is the issue, and not the fact that anyone follows god. i’m not religious or believe in anything for a lot of reasons, but christianity is based in love and acceptance - and it’s not what i get from her :/
Alicia Grimes it’s all good! I completely agree with you! Hope you have a great day :)
Kapush Cinema i’m not reading the gospel anymore but thank you for voicing why many people do not follow a religion who doesn’t practice speaking love and picks and chooses “sins” to smite people over.

it's honestly really scary that she doesn't seem to have gotten sex ed in school. i got it from 6th till 8th grade and then also in my senior year of hs. the fact that her mom isn't giving her advice (at least not that we know of) and ryan isn't helping her either, is just,,, WHAT? i love them both, i really do, but seeing the culmination of everything is insane.
You’ll be surprised how bad sex ed in the US is. Like many often teach abstinence and some don’t even care to teach.
Also she’s religious so I’m sure she was shamed outta having sex (at the very least subtly shamed!) while growing up !! :/
Ashia Rose yeah, which sucks cause it’s doesn’t give a full picture of sex education. And then they wonder why kids end up pregnant or getting SDTs
Ashia Rose I remember my health teacher talking trash about this one student’s family member who was a teen mom. The fact that they would do everything but talk about the real world and the ins and outs about sex is sad. And yes parents don’t take it serious and kids turn to the internet.
Dude in india there's nothing called sex ed .... though we have one of highest population in the world talking about sex is like taboo...

Damn, that’s great. Hope everything works out with you and your so! Happy life!
Are yall still together lol?
Beautifully delivered, and with a level of compassion that these individuals unfortunately seem to lack.
my comment on the birth control episode was also deleted and they blocked me too lol. funny how they say they're open to constructive criticism, yet they block anyone who dares to respectfully call them out for broadcasting misinformation and ignorance to their young audience. none of the deleted comments were even hate comments either, they were all just concerned fans trying to hold them to a higher standard
what episode was it
they deleted my kind comments on the podcast instagram about the episode, and their "apology" was terrible.

what were they saying in the podcast?
I wouldn't be surprised at all if they jumped into having a child right after their marriage and make that child the inspiration for their new content...
especially with the lord as their contraceptive... lmao
yea i hate when people base their content off of their children it just seems so weird
like shouldn’t you be more focused on raising your children rather than using them for views?
i would agree...though i believe she’s mentioned not wanting any for 5+ years but we will see how that lasts
That’s when I’ll really stop watching. I hate family vloggers who exploit their child and make it the center of their content. Like, raise your child without having it be in the spotlight.
They can do whatever the fuck they want to honestly. If u don't want to see their 'child content' then don't .no one's forcing u
I feel like Hayley is trying to live the perfect trendy insta life without realizing how fake and unrealistic it is tho
She deleted my comment on her Instagram asking why she was not social distancing lol. It’s disappointing seeing smaller, “unproblematic” influencers like her avoiding critique.
I wondered the same thing with all her friends preparing for their wedding.

Me aswell. I had been thinking about love and all recently and I found that like haley I can be very naive from this video, a great eye opener really. ok but its true tho..if theres no egg to fertilize you can't get pregnant lol but sperm can last living for 5 days and you can ovulate later than usual and theres a point where the ovulation period can be altered (stress, alcohol, getting off birth control, etc) so if you track your cycle you need to refrain for longer than a week or 2 even for precaution, not just 2-3 days.

It’s crazy to me that they genuinely believe that hard work for a few years makes them entitled to a 1.5 MILLION dollar house when that is SO far out of reach for endless amounts of people that work hard their whole lives. It’s all just so disconnected.
that’s with most you tubers too.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention that her friend who does the podcast with her also got married young and probably played an influence in Haley’s decisions
yeah I agree I feel like she thought it was the same even thought they have been dating for like 5 years, they waited until her fiancé was out of college, and has an established business outside of social media.
yeah but also her friend doesn’t really seem like the type to influence anyone to do anything. but I’m sure Haley saw their relationship and maybe wanted something like that
I don’t think it was mentioned because respectfully, that wouldn’t influence anything lol, plus I think they’ve probably met on separate instances
@@xtessalynn Y e s, so weird!

Yes! I 100 percent agree I’m a Christian waiting til marriage and I feel like they need to know what they are going Into
I completely agree.
Victoria Dondo i totally agree !!
I feel like the idea is good but some people if theyre forbidden to do it they might to it any ways and not know the bad parts
"doing what you want to only applies to you if you have the money" dude, that's it, I am subscribed! Hope this video blows up.
same!
I subbed 5 min into this video, dudes got a way w words I hope to see more vids like this from him
Same!!!
i cannot believe ryan expressed his very real and true feelings on how when haley rejects him for PDA things and how deeply it hurts him, the other people and his girlfriend LAUGH? man he should have ran.
he still can if he wants to
This is why I came to watch this video.
As evidenced, educated people educating the masses is in fact important!
i feel the EXACT same way about being fascinated with the bad taste
sachii. k. me too
Savvy Grace me too! I couldn’t get myself to unfollow them because it’s so fascinating to see them navigating thru the criticism lol. I also loved this video, it made me reflect on so many things
TH-camr podcasts are just GOLDMINES for getting cancelled. Why is everyone still doing them
Wym ( no hate)
Except for my king D’angelo Wallace
Bridget Kane and my mayor kurtis conner
I literally wish I made this video. I have never agreed so whole heartedly with something and your argument style is one I strive to have; bringing up criticism while maintaining an understanding of your own bias. I have seen a few of each of their videos and when I saw they were getting married it came as a total shock. This perfectly explains the sheer bewilderment so many of us have felt while watching them make risky choices. This video should be studied, good on you bro!!
no one:
haley: sO bC iM a sEVeN oN tHE eNnEaGrAm
Najia Khan I get so annoyed that she bases her life decisions and justifies her actions on that.
BubbleCatFTW what happened i’m greece
naomi abu he talks about it at 35:53
@@lydie9992 unfortunately some of this is chalked up to them being in the public eye, hence their shortcomings are more visible. however i don't think the problem is people picking them apart for being humans, i think it is more an assessment of their overall maturity.
Or really when she gives any life advice that she herself has not experienced :/
THIS
However, please make it ABUNDANTLY clear to your young impressionable followers that they should not also drop out of high school or opt-out of college just to follow your example!
yep yep yep
this may be a low criticism, and maybe i just don’t understand this personality because i’m so different from her, but i can’t help but notice that the general way in which haley carries herself is very... juvenile? she just seems very immature to me. and not relationship wise but mainly in her humor and words. when she was talking about the wedding night and making noises and faces it was just so middle school 😭 like queen needs to do some growing up in ALL areas of life before she continues down this speed run of adulthood 😭
She never graduated high school and is therefore very stuck in that mentality. Her friends are also all still in high school or drop outs themselves. She may not be in high school but she’s built a high school like environment around her. She is not maturing socially even if she does make “mature” life choices.
Which video of hers?
idk what video, but at 1:30:33 is what i’m taking about
@@bookisland6515 thank u!
She started using a baby voice when she first got spoke and then she started using it all the time and now Ryan does it too and I cringe so hard whenever they talk like that
Stopped supporting them a while ago. Sucks to see the fame get to their head. :/
Other thoughts:
And you have to constantly take ovulation tests to make sure your ovulation days do match up with your fertility calendar.
also just USE PROTECTION like it's not that hard, it's probably easier than tracking your periods
@@bharathi2128 definitely! Even better if you can get the nexplanon implant or a iud bc you can just set it and forget it.
Or maybe her mother did and she herself wasn't well educated. Maybe her mom just gave her an abstinence talk which wouldn't be surprising since they seem very involved with their faith. Either way there's no excuse bc she's an adult now and can ask her gp or obgyn for more information.
came for the drama, stayed to learn about mortgages
my favourite type of video
birth control methods aren't just products to "try out"... this is your literal health we're talking about... i am absolutely baffled at how irresponsibly she handled this
i know, she has a young audience as well. also is that you in your pfp ?? if so, you are beautiful !! have a nice day :))
The birth control section made me so mad- she did no research and didn’t even go to a gyno... but I’m not surprised considering her complete disrespect for the nurses and drs when she had that infection after her Greece trip
fr and her saying u can’t get pregnant half of the time in a month like - what. it’s baffling some people actually think this way. she’s probably gonna get pregnant soon honestly.
Ugh for real.
this other girl in the Call Me Candid podcast is either the worst or the best enabler I just can’t..,,, who just blindly agrees with everything someone says and has no other thoughts of her own at all??
Honestly She's really sweet! I just think she's non confrontational and lets haley get away with too much
@@dinakarassane4123 yess and also Haley tends to interrupt her I actually like Lily but they are not a good duo
HeyHeyHeyyy that sucks :-( i can totally see her being a sweet girl, I just hope she realizes that agreeing with everything haley says isn’t doing her any favors at all. Might get tangled in some mess, especially with the birth control mishap :-(
she seems really sweet, she is a people pleaser and I am too but I think she needs to realize what she is doing.
