Just finished watching. I am amazed you guys don't have 100,000subs. Your channel keeps getting better and better. I really enjoyed this episode. The scenery is truly spectacular.

What an absolute brilliant video, firstly the scenery ❤️, then the drone photography ❤️ then the organ playing ❤️. Not forgetting that beautiful shot of the two of you at the top of the pass ❤️. Thank you both for a great video 🙏🏻 how you haven't got 100k + subscribers is beyond us. Safe travels sending love, peace and good energy ❤️🙏🏻

This was an amazing day but for us our favourite is the next episode where we visit Gavia pass, we highly recommend that place it’s near Stelvio but far less touristy and the views well… I think it’s the best place we have ridden too yet

I'm so glad I found "On the Road" and am loving this tour... this episode was megafantabulous. I've lived in Switzerland for many years but have never been to this corner, nor Stelvio before. Looks like i'm gonna have to change that sorry state of affairs..., soon! You two are so good at "planless travelling", which btw is my way of doing it, but you have the advantage of putting it all down on film to revel in again at a later date. I go biking to get away from the endless rules, regulations and slavery of todays techy everyday world. Your beautiful relationship with that special humour that you share, is very heartwarming to see and experience here.... I sincerely hope it's no different off camera! Thanks for all your tireless work involved to get this out on YT, and congrats to whoevere finds such beautiful music to underlay and enhance the pictures. Take care and stay diligent, Steve.
Thanks so much Steve, We are so pleased to have you with us on the road, This is our All in tour now, not sure if you saw the First episode of this tour normandy but we explain why that is there... We really hope to make this viable and continue to travel and make the videos we love it so much! I promise you our laughing never ends on or off camera lol We are like two kids left unattended! Anyway, i'll let you get back to riding now, coz i'm packing anyway, for a NE England trip as of 5th Aug. Bye.
Hi guys. It's been a stunning day in England today. I ended up leaving home in Warwickshire at 06:00 and took a steady 60mph cruise to The New Forest. I enjoyed a tasty cheese and onion roll from the best bakery in Brockenhurst (ok, the only bakery in Brockenhurst 🤣) then I carried on through the forest via the Sandbanks ferry to Swanage and on to Lulworth Cove. What an incredible day. I ended up doing 398 miles and the Honda NC750 averaged 90.4mpg. I'm going to do the same trip tomorrow but on my ZZR1400 as I'm looking at going to Poole bike night on my way back to Warwickshire.
@@ontheroadadventure Hi Ewa/Rich. day 2 of my Dorset delight yesterday and what a day. I did a similar trip as Monday but it was so hot I decided to go no further than Swanage as I was in urgent need of some much needed respite from the blazing sun in the form of the sea! Nonetheless I still covered well in excess of 300 miles. As you know I always set off early (06:00) so literally did a steady 60mph all the way to Brockenhurst. At this speed the ZZR is returning over 63mpg. Incredible. The ride through The New Forest is one I always love and I stopped a few times to grab pictures, as you do. After my afternoon at Durlston Country Park (near Swanage) I headed home via the toll ferry (bikes go straight to the front 😁) The ZZR is the bike of choice for the trek home. It is narrow enough to safely filter when the inevitable queues begin, and swift enough to make light work of the 170+ mile return trip. I've got my stamina up too as I only stopped in Bournemouth for fuel then did the rest in one go. I'm having a day out of the saddle today as 'chores' demand....Oh, the average over the day for the mighty Kawasaki was 50mpg, but I did enjoy a rather 'spirited' ride home (if you know what I mean 🤣)
You just know that that old guy on the BMW is going to get home until his wife. This lovely couple helped me. It was so nice. It's just such a beautiful place. I can't wait till next year when I'm touring. Get Scotland done first.

Great to relive the roads with your excellent filming and drone footage. Great video 👍

Interesting to see the memorial. During WW I, my grandfather served as Lieutenant on the Swiss side of the border here. He was platoon leader of a supply train, a horse-drawn transport unit.
Wow! Just wow! Loving your videos. Just returned from a weeks tour of Northumberland, travelled from Kent. Makes my adventures look very tame! I really look forward to when you download your videos. Keep them coming and stay safe and happy riding.
Thanks so much, Some of our best adventures are local ones. As long as you are out on your bike you will have a brilliant day. Thanks so much for being with us and supporting the channel
Fantastic episode guys the drone footage was amazing, I think you took us all by surprise Rich with your musical talent. Look forward to the next episode.
Stunning video and i get the chase the bikes thing. Usually get a dig in the side if karen is passenger! Huge coffee eva. Wow the church. Always stop to look but the music.....gone up in my estimation massively mate Loved the kiss at top of stelvio xx.
If im on my own, and i see a bike up ahead.... Its game on! Thats the Child in us Bikers! Get him! I talk to my bike some times like its in control or has its own mind lol, Think im losing the plot
You are so Welcome, Its our pleasure to have you with us on the road, Youll enjoy the next few videos if your going to be Riding Switzerland and the Alps. Are you going to do the Dolomites too?
Our vids will help you with that over the next week or so. Dont try to plan every detail though, just go, it always works out in the end, You see how little planning we do, we make it up as we go!
Great videos with an awesome quality. This is impressing😊 And the sound quality is one of the best on a motobike, expecially in your dual setup. What gear are you using as a cam, mic, ...? Keep up the good work and always safe rides.
Most excellent, team. This is why we travel. Big mountains are where its at for me. Well done for helping out the beemer. It's amazing how many people don't stop. Earlier on this year I stopped with my brother to fix a puncture for a German couple ( on an Africa) and they said that dozens of their countrymen had ignored them. Bizarre. Good watch. Ride safe 👍
What a beautiful video, biker's never fall to help each other in my experience. Thanks for sharing my best wishes to you from the Philippines ❤️💪👍😉😀😁🏁🏍️🛺🐑🇵🇭🏴
Your stream is so good both . The views that you have seen will stay with you forever . How many days a year are you on the road ??? That help to the old guy was what bikers are all about . We look after each other well done mate .👍👍👍
Hi David, Yes Motorcycles provide us with lifelong memories, we just love what we do so much. We would love to do this every day and who knows, maybe it will become viable to do so but for now this is our All in Tour...We are on the road now until we cannot afford to do so anymore
Just returned from Austria/Switzerland. Absolutely stunning. Did Grossglockner & bikers rest, Grimsel, Furka, Fluela etc, all at a speed I was comfortable with and savoured every kilometre. Great biking. An OAP on his Z900RS😂
That looks amazing you two. What a beautiful place to ride your bike. Loving this series you too are so expiring there is nothing better than having a lovely adventure on your bike. There is so much to see and explore in the world. We are wanting to do Norway next year 👍👍
Hi guys, another great vlog, only had a quick gander at the comments but surprised not too many mention the "reading material"....very funny addition..😂😂.. oh and just to say, not all us Harley riders refrain from waving....I acknowledge ANY two wheels, regardless of style or size. Keep it upright guys 👍
Epic footage from the bike and the drone, the scenery is just amazing. I always wanted to do that but sadly my wife don't want to ride pillion any more we are mid 60s and I wouldn't go without her. So Thanks for sharing this fantastic episode.
Sounds like you need to get a Side car or a Trike perhaps, Failing that go in the car bud, you Must see it in your life its just unbelievable. Thanks so much for joining us, Rich & Ewa
What scenery, what piano playing, what riding! You had everything in this one, even bike repairs. I realise your speedo is in km now. Some time ago I thought they were in miles and thought you were taking those corners fast. You both did good and really promotes the area and riding. Cheers
Beautiful scenery - looks like a film set and everywhere is so clean and not a pothole in sight. Heavens only knows what tourists think when they come to the UK!
How do they maintain the roads so well in mountainous conditions? You’d expect the roads to be terrible in those conditions so as you say… what’s our excuse in the uk? It’s embarrassing
@@ontheroadadventure Thank you, yup already watched watched a lot, off to Spain in the morning, for my summer tour :) your channel is a very good watch :)
It is beautiful, brings back many memories .. In late 60s through to mid 70s I had family in Interlaken and Kandersteg.. we rode several time from UK and senelager Kandersteg... was an awesome ride , differant every time .. there use to be a motorail through to Italy as well .. enjoy the grub..
We took the motorail from near interlaken you had to drive the bike on and into a train carriage and then turn it around inside which was not easy at all! Amazing memories though
Yes same view I had we I did it with some mate a few years back Then after having a brew the other side going down is a wee bit strange going through the little rock tunnels It was something else Then we went through the MontBlanc tunnel into France as didn’t have a good experience in Italy after nearly being killed twice in one day 😖 Nice bit of a tune there mate
Brilliant guys! Im just back from a trip over their and done the Fluella , Umbrail and Stelvio. I even stopped at the same lay-by up on the Umbrail where you put up your drone. Amazing though, 6 weeks ago it was covered in snow and I had to turn back up at the top. The furthest you could go was that little village area at the top, the other side was snowed in! The Fluella was also dodgy as hell. It was blowing a Gail, sleet and snow when I crossed it first week in June!
Cheers Paul, Thats the Mountains for you, It happened to us when we went to the Picos, the weather was Brutal, Dangerous.... A few days later people were posting amazing pictures there lol It Baffles me that we are sat in the baking sun yet there is still snow and ice on the ground! It must still be very cold there at night time.
That was a brilliant episode, superb drone shots, I’ve never had either Switzerland or the Stelvio on my list, just wasn’t that interested, but you’ve definitely changed my mind, looks amazing
Amazing vid Eva n Rich.iv done stelvio then back down other side amazing views.i was looking for a tab end on floor didnt find any.stopped it Austria 3days amazing place to travel todo passes.great vid as always 👍🏍
Thanks Rich & Ewa….one of your most spectacular episodes. The female statue in the church looked like she was holding a mobile phone!…..but maybe it was a book? Good to see that your subs are steadily increasing; you deserve it👍🏼
It's alright waving at bikes but when 20 come at once your hand is never on the handlebars. We went to a Hymer motorhome rally at their headquarters and there must have been about 500 motorhomes so we all agreed not to wave to each other as we were leaving. Switzerland is so beautiful. Well done on those roads.
Yes i know what you mean, this is why we prefer riding on the right as it makes it much better for greeting bikers, in the UK we Nod, which gets silly on a busy sunday ride! Like Churchill the dog we are...
Brilliant video guys. The bike at 5.22 looks like a BMW R100 RS twin shock. I've got a 1991 monolever model. Nice to see a Alpine Chough photo-bombing you at 27.33.
Wow, what a great video. I have driven many Alpine passes in France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy, including the Stelvio pass. However, I have never been to the Alps on 2 wheels. I am currently looking forward to going there on my bike near the end of August and into September (from my home in the south of Spain near Gibraltar). I will be on my BMW K75 which is a similar age (36 years old) to the one that you helped with the throttle problem. Mine has a different type of engine (3 cylinder 750 cc) to his, but it has the same throttle mechanism as him. I have made a mental note to dismantle it and lubricate it ready for the journey. I am also a similar age to the German gentleman. I am planning on taking about 4 weeks for the trip. My bike (named Belinda) and I are raring to go! Mountain passes here we come!
All bikers give the two fingers down wave over here meaning keep the wheels down.I always thought that they nod to you in England because the throttle is on the right and you have to keep your hand on it so you wouldn't see your left hand. Another great video and I see your subscriber numbers are creeping up.Nice!!
A Swiss is worth a little bit more than a Euro actually :P Great video ! The views are stunning. I just got my first motorcycle and when I'm a bit more experienced I'll be sure to visit those place since I live here already haha
@@ontheroadadventure Thanks for the encouraging words, I've had my license for 4 weeks just today actually haha I'll probably plan something one of these days now that we seem to have great weather :)
Excellent video that brought back so many good memories for me :) I spent 10 years living and working in Bavaria and I was in the Alps most summer weekends on my bike. I've done the Stelvio and Umbrial a few times :) By the way, it's a lot easier to wave to other bikers when you ride on the right. Us Brits have to rely on a nod which isn't as good :)
Well done on fixing the German guys throttle, nice one. That yellow BMW was a R1000RS, introduced in 1978/79, probably before you were born, loved the bit with the kuntst magazine 😂
Thanks bud, yes that bike is older than me! The Magazine was golden, couldnt believe my luck when i found it at my table lol, Us bikers are such big kids
I was 15 and had a crappy field bike, one Saturday morning I walked into WH smiths and saw the r100rs on the cover, the read every page of that magazine for weeks, over and over, from that moment on I knew I'd be a motorcyclist for life😊
I had a "Community" Moped up and down the local fields from about 14 and was hooked ever since. I could never afford a good bike and so you learnt to fix what you had, Im thankful for that now, Its a skill that new ones who finance any new bike they like will not learn
Been to France and Germany all good and good sites , very friendly ...... all the bikers wave cos its the clutch hand , no prob here in England i've noticed a lot more kicking of the leg action !

Best regards Swiss Chris.
Amazing you know him? Small world
I‘m also from Basel and have seen him around town from time to time.
So know by sight.
👋
@@chriku6227 Oh cool 👌 Us bikers need to look after each other
Yep. He is speaking our local dialect, so he must have grown up around Basel somewhere. Great that you gave him a helping hand! ✌🏻🏍️
Interesting to see the memorial. During WW I, my grandfather served as Lieutenant on the Swiss side of the border here. He was platoon leader of a supply train, a horse-drawn transport unit.
Nice one! Enjoyed this. Brings back memories. Its just that long slog back to the UK.
We are breaking the journey up a bit and will be on the way home for some time yet lol
Wow!
Cheers Norrie I got a few tricks up my sleeve yet…. 😉
Great episode. Well done to you both. I enjoyed seeing you play too. Very impressive 👏👏
Thanks for joining us on the road. See you in the next one
Stunning video and i get the chase the bikes thing. Usually get a dig in the side if karen is passenger!
Huge coffee eva.
Wow the church. Always stop to look but the music.....gone up in my estimation massively mate
Loved the kiss at top of stelvio xx.
If im on my own, and i see a bike up ahead.... Its game on! Thats the Child in us Bikers! Get him! I talk to my bike some times like its in control or has its own mind lol, Think im losing the plot
Wow fabulous roads and amazing views, bit scary though
These mountains are spectacular but you cannot afford to get distracted! Did you see the next video of gavia pass? That was mega!
Never mind the cows! Did you see that MK1 MX5! Looked mint. What a superb episode guys
Cheers bud 🫡
Switzerland is on my list of places to visit… Even more so now..! Wow..! Those roads and scenery.. Absolutely stunning…! Great video guys..! 🤟🏼😎
Thank you, you really should go it’s amazing here
Another great video guys in some amazing scenery. A surprise musical treat to boot. 😊👍🏍
Thanks John! See you never know what your going to get with us on the road
AMAZING! I can not wait to go next year! Thanks for bringing us all this wonderful content! 👍🏍🏍👍
You are so Welcome, Its our pleasure to have you with us on the road, Youll enjoy the next few videos if your going to be Riding Switzerland and the Alps. Are you going to do the Dolomites too?
@@ontheroadadventure Not too sure yet, Ive got quite a bit of research / planning to do yet👍
Our vids will help you with that over the next week or so. Dont try to plan every detail though, just go, it always works out in the end, You see how little planning we do, we make it up as we go!
Best episode yet!!!... Views are spectacular. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks Andy
Great videos with an awesome quality. This is impressing😊 And the sound quality is one of the best on a motobike, expecially in your dual setup. What gear are you using as a cam, mic, ...? Keep up the good work and always safe rides.
Thanks so much we spend allot of time in editing getting the videos to the standard we like it to be
Most excellent, team.
Bizarre.
Good watch.
Ride safe 👍
Wow that is sad, I will always stop to see if I can help, I like to fix something and get them on the way again as much as they like to be fixed!
@@ontheroadadventure it's road karma. One day you might need it yourself.
And good morning! Up early today!👍🕳
What a beautiful video, biker's never fall to help each other in my experience. Thanks for sharing my best wishes to you from the Philippines ❤️💪👍😉😀😁🏁🏍️🛺🐑🇵🇭🏴
Thanks, it’s our duty to each other to help and respect each other on the road
Go Slow See more! We dont like to rush or ride silly fast either, We came all this way to see not rush by it
That looks amazing you two. What a beautiful place to ride your bike. Loving this series you too are so expiring there is nothing better than having a lovely adventure on your bike. There is so much to see and explore in the world. We are wanting to do Norway next year 👍👍
We would love to go to Norway too, we keep hearing how amazing it is and so we must go and see it for ourselves
I was just looking at the pictures 😉 Well done for bucking the trend, we all need to look out for and greet each other no matter the choice of machine
Well said
Amazing video and the views! Looks like it was a full day of riding
Switzerland just keeps giving, i wish we could just do this loop over and over
You two just keep on delivering - respect.
Thanks so much, we really love what we do here
Superb stuff, great scenes, traffic does my head in 😃
Thanks so much, Switzerland is the gift that just keeps giving on the motorbikes...
Cheers
Thanks so much, no we are not into going fast, we much rather see more… thanks so much for being with us
Beautiful scenery - looks like a film set and everywhere is so clean and not a pothole in sight. Heavens only knows what tourists think when they come to the UK!
How do they maintain the roads so well in mountainous conditions? You’d expect the roads to be terrible in those conditions so as you say… what’s our excuse in the uk? It’s embarrassing
Greensleeves! Wow, I’m impressed Rich! 👏🏍️🍺🇿🇦
Just the classy sort of bloke I am 😉😂
whoa ,whoa ,whoa what an amazing place, definitely on the bucket list 👍
Rich the cow's have bells because there horns don't work 😂😂
Now thats a Joke!! LOL
@@ontheroadadventure maybe you can use it in the next episode 😂
New to the channel, fantastic, what a beautiful country and video angles and drone, brilliant :)
Welcome aboard! Thanks so much, you’ll have many hours of entertaining videos to catch up on now on this tour alone! Thanks for joining us on the road
@@ontheroadadventure Thank you, yup already watched watched a lot, off to Spain in the morning, for my summer tour :) your channel is a very good watch :)
Have a safe trip bud
It is beautiful, brings back many memories .. In late 60s through to mid 70s I had family in Interlaken and Kandersteg.. we rode several time from UK and senelager Kandersteg... was an awesome ride , differant every time .. there use to be a motorail through to Italy as well .. enjoy the grub..
We took the motorail from near interlaken you had to drive the bike on and into a train carriage and then turn it around inside which was not easy at all! Amazing memories though
cool video..did Stelvio two years ago and hope to go back some day
It’s an amazing place to ride and there’s so much more to Switzerland and the alps as we will show you in the next one
Yes same view I had we I did it with some mate a few years back
Then after having a brew the other side going down is a wee bit strange going through the little rock tunnels
It was something else
Then we went through the MontBlanc tunnel into France as didn’t have a good experience in Italy after nearly being killed twice in one day 😖
Nice bit of a tune there mate
Yes driving in Italy and Switzerland is a bit mad! Sicily is crazy in the cities too
Brilliant guys!
Best video yet! I love Switzerland, IMO the passes there are better to ride than Stelvio, your video has made me want to go back 😍
We found so many amazing roads here, you will love the next few videos then if you like mountains!!
You're not in Blighty any more!!
Loads of pretty F All!
Great vids!! Carry On Camping!! 😊😊
Europę is amazing for riding it feels like you can just ride forever and never run out of space…
wow 😮
you guys are just great 👍
fantastic viewing ❤
Thanks so much James, share and tell your biker friends! Love you bye 👋
Awesome!! Lovin the ivory playing , you star ! and what views , so lucky with the weather couldn't see a thing due to rain when we went... :)
Oh know that’s rubbish when you go all that way and it’s raining when you get there
That was a brilliant episode, superb drone shots, I’ve never had either Switzerland or the Stelvio on my list, just wasn’t that interested, but you’ve definitely changed my mind, looks amazing
You have to go! It’s amazing just stay out of the tourist trap restaurants and shops try to stop in villages
What if Central Europe is not on your list? Plain boring! There’s no better place than motorcycling the Alps!
That place looks stunning & you are right i think it needs to go on our list the list that's getting longer
It’s a must see, if it’s possible for you to get there you must go once to Switzerland
Ey up
Fantastic scenery, you lucky people
Thanks so much, we are glad we can do this and share the videos with you all
Excellent series keep up the great videos love them and stay safe.
Thanks for being with us Jason, see you in the next one
WOW What a stunning place Great vlog too 🍻Ride Safe 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Absolutely belting scenery in this one. Fab to see it.
Really is Breath taking.... And the gopro makes everything look flat too. You have to go if you get the chance
@@ontheroadadventure nearly did do it for a charity sports car run a few years ago, it never happened, so its great to see your vid.

Amazing vid Eva n Rich.iv done stelvio then back down other side amazing views.i was looking for a tab end on floor didnt find any.stopped it Austria 3days amazing place to travel todo passes.great vid as always 👍🏍
Switzerland is just such a beautiful place to ride and explore we can’t wait to return again and again
Thanks Rich & Ewa….one of your most spectacular episodes. The female statue in the church looked like she was holding a mobile phone!…..but maybe it was a book? Good to see that your subs are steadily increasing; you deserve it👍🏼
Thanks so much, nearly 10k subs now! Who would of thought this would happen!
Absolutely stunning 😍
Thank you, we cannot express enough how stunning this part of the world is, if you can make it there one day on your bike get there...
Wow who knew Rich was so good with his organ😊
Ewa Knows....
I think this is my favourite episode so far! ❤
Thanks so much bud, Switzerland sure does deliver
Brilliant video guys. The bike at 5.22 looks like a BMW R100 RS twin shock. I've got a 1991 monolever model. Nice to see a Alpine Chough photo-bombing you at 27.33.
So much to see here, we see things in the videos when editing we didn’t notice before
Oh the joy of the BMW R throttle. I had to dismantle my R100RS throttle several times for many reasons whilst touring.
Weird on Rogers Pass BC Canada, we helped a German guy on a BMW, same issue..
Fantastic! You will love it here. You’ll enjoy the next few videos too in the area to see what you can do. Ride safe, see you in the next one 👍
All bikers give the two fingers down wave over here meaning keep the wheels down.I always thought that they nod to you in England because the throttle is on the right and you have to keep your hand on it so you wouldn't see your left hand. Another great video and I see your subscriber numbers are creeping up.Nice!!
Yes this theory is right, we nod as we ride on the left 👍 Yes numbers are growing… Exciting times
Those fantastic roads... i just keep thinking of the opening scene of the original Italian job film.. not a lot of people know that
Very good! 👍
Brilliant episode, takes me back to exactly this time last year when we done the stelvio from Swiss side 👍👍
Did you go up and down both sides?
@@ontheroadadventure no just up and over
A Swiss is worth a little bit more than a Euro actually :P
Great video ! The views are stunning. I just got my first motorcycle and when I'm a bit more experienced I'll be sure to visit those place since I live here already haha
Go for it, Ewa had a license 4 weeks before following me to Stelvio from the uk a couple years back
@@ontheroadadventure Thanks for the encouraging words, I've had my license for 4 weeks just today actually haha I'll probably plan something one of these days now that we seem to have great weather :)
Don’t over think, just go ride 👍
That scenery OMG! I think I am adding that road towards Bormio into my route to get to the Italian lakes next year for sure.
We highly recommend it bud
What a great video ! Really enjoyed that, well done 👏
Thanks so much, if you can get there in person we really recommend riding in Switzerland once
@@ontheroadadventure I think I'm going to have to now 👍
Excellent video that brought back so many good memories for me :) I spent 10 years living and working in Bavaria and I was in the Alps most summer weekends on my bike. I've done the Stelvio and Umbrial a few times :) By the way, it's a lot easier to wave to other bikers when you ride on the right. Us Brits have to rely on a nod which isn't as good :)
Yes! We prefer to ride on the right for this reason, feel like Churchill the nodding dog at home!
Cool man 😎 help someone and play the organ 😮
All in a days work 👍
Been to France and Germany all good and good sites , very friendly ...... all the bikers wave cos its the clutch hand , no prob
here in England i've noticed a lot more kicking of the leg action !
Congratulations to you two. Just saw the knee down.....
Thanks mark!
Fantastic episode lads.
