Okay this is a bit weird. A couple of months ago I subscribe to biker from the states and I wake up this morning to a video of them driving past my house...
Cool presentation of my home! I'm flying paragliders in the grimsel region! You should to see this place from above! Even as a local, it's still breathtaking! I'm not patriotic, but surely I love my roots... I lived one village further where you stayed in the hotel
@@serverch yes this may be true, but when you try different directions, time of day or you have bad luck with the weather, you always spot something new.
Scandinavia reporting, the church in our village is 900 years old. The roads follow the old boundaries of the fields/Owners land etc. Makes you feel deeply rooted in the landscape, much like a Hobbit :)
This is what it’s like in many parts of the east coast USA. The roads were based on Indian trails, which were based on Deer or Buffalo trails. This does not apply to Florida- you can go anywhere in Florida by only turning twice lol.
Dude. You are absolutely killing it here with the content creation. Not only are you taking trips that many of us can only dream of, but watching you push your limits and persevere through it all makes for the best storytelling. It's been freakin' awesome watching your channel grow into what it is today. Can't wait for part 2!
Welcome to Switzerland! :) And driving an Harley in those roads... you are one brave lady! Hope you'll come back to explore more of my beautiful county and explore what this continent has to offer.
I'm really enjoying the mix of "In-Helmet" commentary and the occasional voiceovers for accompaniement. This is a really great series, Jess! So happy you and Jordan were able to not only take some time for yourselves, but for you to have the opportunity to bring us along for the ride. Thank you so much!
that massive glacier sent chills through my whole body. what an incredible shot, what amazing views. breathtaking and unbelievably stunning surroundings. I'm floored. can't wait for part 2!!!
When I was in Italy I saw dozens of bikers riding in Tuscany mountains. So now European motorcycle touring is on the bucket list. This video just confirms it.
The wife and I came back from England and Scotland from July 16 to the 27th. We drove up to Scotland for a wedding in Largs, Scotland. Had a very good time.
To Americans that want to ride in Europe but money is an issue. Check the Transfagarasan (rated best road in the world by Top Gear) and Transalpina in Romania. Equally impressive but way cheaper as they are located in Eastern Europe. Also, with a bit of reaserch, you can find hidden gems of towns packed with castles and other historical sites that you can't find anywhere else. Cheers from Romania and ride safe!
Hard to compare to be honest. Switzerland is one of the most advanced countries in the world. The roads (quality, navigation, safety, etc.) are simply on another level. And then there's the overall safety, day and night. And last but not least, Switzerland has the Alps, the most spectacular, highest passes. Romania is also beautiful and waaay cheaper and less discovered, but it's difficult to compare at the end of the day.
@@YesSirPhil Overall, Switzerland wins, no question about that. But, for someone traveling from another continent, and that does not have a boat load of money and wants to experience riding on beautifull, tight roads, stuning landscapes and true wilderness, Romania is a great option. It's not jut me saying this. It's the thousand of riders coming here from Western Europe every year. Anyway, my comment was towards the people across the pond. Cheers, my friend!
beautiful trip with challenging roads, glad you liked it. I'm a motorbikerider from Belgium but Switzerland is still on my list, looking forward for the second part. Have good and safe drive
Happy to see you exploring my country. I hope you love it as much as I do. I love it here and it’s a dream to have those mountains in front of my house ❤
Just returned from visiting friends in Switzerland. I rode from the UK through France , Germany and then to the North East of Switzerland. I had a fantastic time and will certainly return next year. Love the video. All the best and stay safe.
As I live in Bavaria i regularly get to the alps, bavarian forest, rivers and lakes. After all these years the beauty of the mountains, forests and lakes still hits me every single time. Hope you had fun. Stay safe
It‘s great to see my home country and the Alps through your eyes and get to hear your impressions. I am happy you and Jordan had a great time. This might be my favorite video on your channel up to now (following for couple of years now).
I love to hear and see how you experiance Europe. I´m from Austria and ride all the passes you did and I know this is absolute stunning but must be breathtaking for US guys. The roads are quite narrow compared to US. Enjoy it. Have fun
Been there... done that!! Over the last 25 years I did ride over all these nice mountain passes more then once and have seen 17 European countries on two wheels.
Hi to both of you from Austria! Congrats to your decision to do that trip and to build memories that last forever. We did an roadtrip which included 9 (out of 10) of the highest and challenging mountain passes in the alps 3 weeks ago. To watch your videos brings memories alive and some goosebumps ;-) The riding in the alps is not comparable to what your are used to, but form time to time we have to get out of our comfort zone to get further in life. In 2025 we will visit the US for a 3 weeks roadtrip - so see you on the road
This was by far your best video EVER!!!!!! It was so good and well done and the drone footage was so awesome. rock on girl!!!! What an incredible trip. So happy you got to do it with Jordan.
Fun seeing you ride through some of the most known and beautiful places to ride or drive in Europe. Heck even somewhat close to me as well! Glad you all enjoyed and what a great video Jess. Loved the music, voice overs, and the sceneries and comradery and hospitality shown throughout. Never been to any of these places even that they're somewhat close to me as a Dutchmen. But definitely on the list to go and see and witness.
Excellent production, and post editing Jess. Glad you and Jordan got to visit Europe. I'm from Liverpool UK, but now living in Celina Ohio. The Swiss alps.. are beyond stunning. A great video
OUTSTANDING VIDEO! So happy that you and JR got to experience this tour. Tours aren't for everyone, but if you go at it as an adventure, you always have a good time. I suspect you made lifetime long memories on this trip. I hope you did. And I must say, you can go to Western Canada without an airplane, always have English speaking hosts and the Canadian Rockies are so different that the US Rockies. Definitely something you need to put on your "to do" list. Again, congratulations to the two of you. Glad you had the chance to experience much of Europe and from personal experience, Italy was my favorite. I'm looking forward to the next video of this trip!
I live near to those places, I can be there litterally in a few hours ride. Watching those through your eyes gave me a totally different and new perspective on the places and the road that sometimes I could have take for granted. This was an amazing vlog, I really loved to see the wonder spark in your eyes, I will definitely look again at those places with a fresh spirit. Thank you. ❤
Thank you Jess for sharing this amazing footage with us. One of the best likeable Motorcycle documentaries I have seen so far. Greetings from a Suisse Biker 😎 🇨🇭
Love that you enjoyed it. I ride the french alps a fair bit, sometimes Switzerland and Italy! These types of roads are everywhere! And the Alps are not the only beautiful places in Europe! Tight hairpins are a technique, normal to struggle the first time. Takes turning you're head at the right time and arriving at the proper pace. The entry will determine your exit. 28:42 exactly the type of rider I hate riding the Alps...they end up on the other lane exiting the corner too! (sorry for the negative comment)
Can always tell who the American riders are in the alps…they’re the ones riding with their heads in oncoming traffic lanes on left turns and taking right turns so tight they’ll ride straight off the road if a slow bicyclist suddenly appears
Nicely compiled video. A bit strange to see myself in a video on your channel, I met you on the ferry boat! I'm glad that you enjoyed the Swiss Alps and especially that you had good luck with the weather for your rides. It rained a lot in Switzerland in the weeks before your tour. Looking forward to see the second part.
I like the scene where you wave to the train. Have you noticed, you can go to the remotest areas in the Swiss Alps and almost everywhere there are train tracks and trains there? If you can't ride the Alps on your own wheels, you can also ride it by train, this is unique and that's Switzerland!
This was so much fun to watch. Europe does have some amazing scenery. Makes me want to do something like this in my country. Keep the videos coming, Jess. Love from Ghana❤❤

Nice. But the glacier you showed us was the Rhone glacier. Its the start of the river Rhone and by far not the biggest glacier in continental europe. The Aletschgletscher is much bigger, but he's situated further down in Vallais and not the bernese alps.... just saying
