RIP Egon Spengler/ Harold Ramis. You were a True Ghostbuster.
I went to the LA premiere with Ivan and Jason Reitman and when the guys showed up was cheering and Egon showed up at the end, all you heard was grown men sobbing.
Fun fact, Bob Gunton (Shawshank Redemption) played Egon in the beginning and end, with Ivan Reitman donning the suit when Soengler takes Phoebe's hand and steadies it.

Most of the movie was filmed in Alberta,the town of Summerville was really Fort MacLeod.
I have a couple of friends who live close to the Fort and they visited during filming and got to meet some of the cast and take pics with the Ecto-1
I loved this movie :)
The missing 16 ounces of Fuel Isotope that Ray mentioned on the phone was foreshadowing the 4 nuclear power cells powering the Proton Cannons that Egon built which was keeping Gozer at bay in the Death Pit.
Where was Egon's wife in Ghostbusters 2? Why wouldn't Ray, of all people, not believe Egon? None of it makes sense. And it's sentimental and not funny at all.
The drive in diner thing: there's one where I live that only closed recently because of the pandemic. Now they operate a food truck out of the diners parking lot.
This was a perfect way to end/possibly continue the franchise. It was awesome how they included Harold even though he's gone.
Hey man... great reaction! I know this is a year after this reaction.. but at the end.. you said.. so wait.. there's going to be more?! Well.. just incase you didn't know... they are filming the next Ghostbusters movie right now.. and it is set to come out in December this year. :)

great reaction. This is an awesome continuation of the Ghostbusters. Have heard there may be a reboot with the kids as a next generation type thing. The closing feels very emotional to me truly saying farewell to Harold.

Not really a reboot a reboot is when you throw out all previous events that has happened so far and start over from scratch and we all know how well that worked out (2016 a disgrace to everyone) this is a continuation so if they make another one it will be ghostbusters 4

I'm glad/happy Walter Peck is not in this film because he's just plain unbelievable due 2 his refusal 2 believe in anything paranormal/supernatural even after everything that has happened 2 him in Ghostbusters Video game sequel & the original film!

A mediocre movie that has no idea what made the original and its sequel great. Anyone that actually likes this, doesn't appreciate what the original was doing, they're more enamored of the gadgets and supernatural genre tropes, rather than the irreverent slob comedy that distinguishes it from everything else.
