What’s going on in our Ravelry group??
Our FOURTH annual Merry Makealong begins July 1st and runs through August 31st, 2024. I will be opening ONE THREAD on Ravelry for both chatter and finished objects on July 1st. This makealong is designed to get a head start on our gift making for the holiday or to make something festive for yourself for the holidays! Hi Carla, I love all your shorty socks. I too am making shorty socks for Summer Sock Camp. For the Merry Along, I’m going to make some tree scrubbies that you shared on your podcast many moons ago to give as gifts. I really like your new setup. It’s more personal and warm. It’s like we are sitting in the room with you knitting/crocheting. What a great idea for the temperature cross stitch. I’ll have to put that on my list. Stay cool and enjoy your week

Love all your projects. It's nice to see you in your comfy chair. I admire so much how well you are sticking to your goals. I'm going to get all my yarn set aside for projects out & do a rethink of the second half of my year.

Hi Carla, your Fiddly bits cowl is looking great- I love the colors in the project. I saved the mitten pattern that you are planning to make. I really like the double layers and pattern design. I’ve never made mittens though, so maybe I’ll make a plain pair of mittens for the Merry Make Along.
Hi Beth!! How was your MI trip?! I think the Fiddly Bits cowl has been so much fun! I hadn’t made mittens until a couple years ago-I think I was intimidated but it wasn’t bad at all!😁
Thanks for another wonderful episode 🎉 I'm just finishing up a pair of socks and slowly 🐌 working on my Arboreal sweater ( I should join in the Merry Make A Long, it would be a gift 🎁 to myself for sure). It's definitely slow-going with all the hot 🔥 🥵 days we've been having. Have a great weekend!

I am trying to be mostly monogamous in my knitting (one pair of socks, one tee) and it is such a challenge! I hope to cast on some Christmas socks very soon.

Hi Carla, I'm knitting on my second pair of Rose City Rollers shorty socks. I love this pattern and have had it for a few years. Not sure why it took me so long to knit them.

Hi Carla, I enjoyed spending some knitting time with you today. I thought about Holiday gift knitting, but I’m not sure. I did outside chores earlier and now I’m knitting on some striped socks in tandem and trying really hard to not cast on all the things. Stay cool 🧶🥰
